   We have enjoyed Friday or Saturday family dinner at Olivier at least once a month, (three times is not uncommon!) for several years. We always begin with a cocktail and Cokes, share an appetizer or two, each dine on our preferred entree, and finish with a family dessert and decaf espresso or Americano. The ambience is always lovely, staff are attentive and warm, music is a comforting mix, wine list is ample, and specials often tempt. Most importantly, Olivier's food is consistently delicious! 5/5 every time!

   Our first time visiting, we arrived early for dinner service (6:30). As the place filled up, the service became nonexistent. Any time we needed anything (water, more wine, the check...and a second time asking for the check), we needed to get up and find a staff member. They were woefully understaffed. Food was ok. Cheese plate was, well, a cheese plate. Decently presented, but whatever. Mussels portion was HUGE -- definitely shareable; fries were cold. The Nicoise Salad was underwhelming, as the tuna was completely opaque and overdone. (I saw someone else's Nicoise and the tuna looked proper: seared but pink in the center)...and *very* salty. Ambiance was nice, music selection was definitely up our alley (late-1960s R&B). All that said, I think we'll go somewhere else next time.

   Always a great experience at Olivier! Great food, fantastic coffee and drinks and the staff is so responsive and helpful and kind.

   I love this restaurant so much. Came with my family for the first time on Christmas, came again for my mom’s birthday last night. Everyone is always so welcoming and the food is insanely good. The service is seriously impeccable, and I’m in the service industry! So happy to have this place in my neighborhood. Thank you thank you thank you!

   Great French bistro-food was excellent! Salad Nicoise was a standout. Was quiet when we went, decor is standard. The service was great-very friendly waitstaff and the food was authentic and delicious!

   What a wonderful eatery! Food was cooked with love. We ordered a cheeseburger and quiche. Absolutely delicious. Our server who was also the bartender was a delight! He was so friendly and welcoming. We live in midtown Manhattan but whenever we head to Brooklyn -THIS will be a go-to spot for sure!

   We really like Olivier Bistro with its very friendly vibe, excellent food (always!) and great service. You will feel welcome there and will have a fine meal.

   We go there often and it never disappoints. Olivier Bistro is a great place for a group (it is small so call ahead). We always enjoy the meal and the manager and owner are super nice.

    Had a delicious meal last weekend. Started with escargot 🐌 😋 and then steak sans fries and had mashed potatoes instead. Husband had a salad and mussels with 🍟- his fries and mussels were delicious as well. A charming place —- feels like you’re in 🇫🇷 and not on 4th Avenue in Brooklyn. Lovely staff as well.
