They NEVER told us they only take AMEX and then my boyfriend had to go to their ATM and make 2 withdrawals incurring the fees. I️t wouldn’t have been that big of a deal, except I️ called to reserve and they never told us until I️t was time to pay...What if neither of us had a debit card on us?

Eating out alone can be awkward in some places but never here. I didn’t feel as tho I was taking up too much space or time. Very congenial staff just the right amount of attention

This place was nice and cozy. Gave a homey and warm feeling as soon as you walked into the door. The service was okay, server was polite and funny. The food was okay except the beef bourguinon was salty.

I liked it but wanted to like it more. I love French food and I do like the menu. The execution on the appetizer we had (basically fried sardines) was mediocre. The steak was better than average, but I probably would try something else if I went back. Finally, the selection of cheeses and meats were small, but very good.

We miss not going to France this summer as we are staying in the USA for nearly 7 weeks so we wanted a restaurant to relive the memories. This place is it, fantastic! No complaints at all, good choice of menus, the best steak I have had in years! Fantastic ambiance, good choice of wines and not over priced! If you are in the area VISIT!

One of our go-to placed. Great overall. Food is very good and tasty. More of 4.8 but not yet a five. Treated us to dessert on our anniversary. Very good and friendly service. Would recommend.

My wife and I ventured to the South Slope to try the French cuisine at Olivier Bistro. The food was delicious, the service fast, and I liked the bill. No air-conditioning, so it was like Paris on a hot day. Glasses of Kronenbourg (1664) and nice choice of wines definitely added to the atmosphere. Nous avons bien mangé. We had fun, I am sure we will try it again.

Really unhappy with my experience. Made an appointment through OpenTable and specified it was a birthday however it was never mentioned once we got there. Once we got there it took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. We ordered red wine which was very hot (not room temperature). The foie gras was pure Apple sauce, we ordered mussels which we did not know came with a side of French fries so we asked for an extra side of French fries for a child. Once all of our entrees came with French fries we asked for the extra side to be cancelled which they refused. Did not know what to do with 3 entrees of fries. Also the restaurant did not have signs anywhere saying they do not accept MasterCard or visa! Only American Express. Which is strange! Signs only showed accept American Express is accepted. Overall unhappy. Came for my mothers birthday and will definitely not return again.

Olivier Bistro has been our go to place for about 2 years. I always have a great time. The food is always amazing. The specials are fantastic. And the staff is always so friendly. Looking forward to our next visit.

Olivier Bistro is really a perfect example of a neighborhood gem. It's a really cute restaurant that's cozy and inviting. You never feel rushed to eat and move out of the way. All the food we had was excellently prepared. Wonderful job!

This was our second time here the first being Valentine's Day which is busy everywhere . The food was so good we antes to try on a regular day and we were not disappointed . The food as terrific and the desserts are great

Did not have dinner on Valentine's Day! I was told they were over booked and could not be accommodated . Actually rude about it. And I had my confirmation on my phone. So not sure who messed that up .
