Awesome restaurant! Had a great time with my date, food was delicious
The waiter was rushing us. It was crazy. He was hovering around every half a second.
Asking how everything is after I have put one forkful in my mouth is annoying and disruptive.
Very irritating when I am with a client and talking business, and there are many empty seats in the restaurant, there was no need for the waiter to rush us out.
Food and service are generally quite good. We were seated in the main room instead of the west room and it was WAY too noisy. Not an enjoyable experience on that front. Also, my pad thai was okay, but aside from big chunks of tofu it was bland. Other visits have been more enjoyable both in terms of ambiance and food quality. But I'll come back - better luck next time.
Food was better than anticipated!
It was our first time here and was pleasantly pleased with the service and food. We now know where to have dinner before we catch a show at the meridian. So convenient!!
The only bad thing I need to say , was we felt the cold draft every time the front door was opened.
Definitely we will come back. Thanks
Great service! Ran out of chicken wings and Peroni - next time!
We were going to the show across the street so convenience was perfect. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The place has a lot of energy’s
Always a great meal before a show or a game. The menu is full of very tempting offerings. Our waiter seemed unfriendly, maybe it was a bad day. The food was seasoned and the temperature was wonderful.
Great food and good value. Very attractive restaurant that is handy to the theatre and Scotiabank arena.
Great location for attending games. Food and service both good
Service was a little slow at the beginning - but there were some large groups around us - service improved over the course of the lunch - overall great food & service.
Place was only about 25% full yet service was slow and waiter inattentive.
We hit the restaurant on a quiet night so noise level was minimal. Food was very good and service was excellent. Really like the 1/2 price bottles of wine.
Got to the location just before 6pm. There are happy hour drinks that we enjoyed. The super bowls made for a really nice light dinner, which tasted great. This location does not do winterlicious but has other promotions which actually worked out better! Its a regular destination that i really enjoy.
Excellent food and the service was perfect. Very friendly and helpful
Washroom was dirty. Happy hour was a joke. Only drinks that we never heard of were offered. We will definitely go elsewhere next time downtown.
Great service. Great location for those attending events at the Meridian Theatre. Food was good but not great.
My mom and I were heading to Meridan Hall after dinner. It was a perfect location. We have never been there before - food was tasty and service was great. We'll be going there again!!
All good- noise level prevents any conversation
We were disappointed with the calamari appetizer. Many of the pieces were stringy. A few were so stringy that we had to pull the "strings" out of our mouths for fear of choking.
I ordered the caesar salad with chicken and specifically told the server no cheese as I was allergic. Well, the salad arrived and was topped with cheese! I had to send it back and wait for it to be remade with no cheese.
Only had two Italian wines on the menu. One was the poorest (cheapest) wine they carry at the liquor store, not even DOC or DOCG. The other was $124 Amarone. It would be nice if something existed in the middle as the cheap one was not enjoyable. A Valpolicella Ripasso? A Chianti? I assumed the name Bonacini was Italian when I booked.
My rigatoni was excellent, but my wife's pizza was only ok. Mushroom soup was fabulous as advertised.
Service was exceptional. Food was very good. Very pricy and noisy till the bulk of the lunch time crowd left, but all in all a nice convenient place to meet friends if you’re coming into town for lunch.
Excellent as usual. Excellent service. Excellent food. We really enjoy your restaurant.
This place is always a great choice. The calamari is perfectly cooked. The spicy Thai noodles are yummy although they could do with a side of something green.
We had the best server - he took the time to help us with our wine selection was extremely attentive
Service is such a huge part of the experience and my daughter had a wonderful time.
Excellent and attentive service. We arrived before the lunch crowd, so quiet during that time. As expected noise level increased by noon but was manageable. Food was perfect, and served quickly.
Overall a very positive experience, everything was perfect.
The sauce of the chickpeas was too spicy/salty and did not go well with the salmon !
Food was just ok. I was expecting higher quality. Prices were high for what you got.
a great spot for lunch with a good range of healthy options. Service was spot on, no waiting and they new just when to appear. We ( 2 people) had to get in and out in 60 minutes and they were able to accommodate that with ease.
Friendly, efficient, and thorough service. A pleasant experience all around.
Great brunch. Very quiet and had great mimosa special. Lots of sweet and savoury options.
My friend and I ordered the shrimp tagliatelle and were very disappointed. The pasta was severely overcooked and sticking in clumps, no need for a spoon because the noodles were just breaking apart. For dessert we shared a phyllo cheesecake that was dry and flavourless with very little dulce de leche as the menu stated. The service was spectacular and our server was very kind and alert but the food was not as I remembered from a previous visit.
Must have been a bad day because all 3 of us had problems with our food. Waiter was missing in action and never once stopped to ask.
We only complained about 1 of the plates (after flagging down a waiter) because I didn’t want to create the impression that we were finding fault with everything. First 2 plates had the saltiest fries ever seen. It was caked in salt and I couldn’t eat much of it. My work colleague somehow ate his fries. The 3rd plate which was returned had hair in the food! To the credit of the manager they did apologize and replaced the meal and didn’t charge for it. At that point I really didn’t want to also complain about the fries I couldn’t eat. Would’ve looked like I was angling for more free meals.
Like I say it must have been a bad day because I’ve been there before and the food and service was good.
Excellent restaurant with great food. Good for business lunches
Couldn't get attention from waiter originally. Then sat for half an hour with a glass of water which took 10 mins to get. By then restaurant was mostly empty. Then had to wait quite a while for our first drink, then was asked immediately to order. Service pace was off. Restaurant service pacing way of however our waiter was extremely friendly . Then when we ordered wine our first and second choice was out . I ordered a martini and the glass was extremely sticky to hold. Would not recommend or return . Felt it was a waste of money overall .
Had a great meal at a good price and good location as we were going to the Bluma Appel Theatre.
Amazing atmosphere for the new year dinner celebration. Food was incredible as always - service was stunning. 50% off selected wines was excellent.
Took a while before a server noticed us there. Food was okay.
We were seated immediately as we had reservations the table was in a perfect area the service was a bit slow however they were getting prepared for New Year's Eve later dinner meals we were offered a New Year's Eve menu it was very limited we did order it I was surprised that there was no options for children I ordered the prime roast beef medium well and it did come to our table rare disappointed with the food my husband's portion of the Nokia with the truffles was extremely tiny he had to order bread however the ambience and cleanliness was appreciated
