great Turkey Burger!
Great spot for business lunches
I enjoyed the experience, but menu was very limited
El servicio y la comida fue excelente, lástima que vayan a cerrarlo!
Fantastic service and great food.
This location is closing and didn’t have many of the items we were interested in ordering. There version of tiramisu was terrible.
I had a reservation an hour before closing and not once did the server or staff at the Oakville location make me feel as if they needed to close or that im cutting it close. The food was amazing and very filling, and the staff are so welcoming and warm! I thank you for such a great birthday experience would definitely Recommend.
A post Christmas gathering with family. A lovely walk thru the mall and then our O&B dinner. Enjoyed all the tastes options selected. Wonderful service by our waiter Jon and Elizabeth/Manager. Having huge regrets you are closing in the Oakville Mall. What a disgrace and where will we dine, lunch, party or brunch now?
Wonderful time, but our last time because the restaurant is closing. It was close to home and if you had reason to celebrate it was the perfect place.
Too bad your Oakville location is closing by the end of 2018. It was anak amazing location AND it's nice to have it in the West End. Hopefully you can open a smaller location in the West.
Half a menu because they are closing. Not very good food and too much $$ for what you get.
Bummer that this place is closing. Food and service was outstanding.
I had heard about this restaurant for some time and unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. The menu had little to no options and the food also was bland. For this location they really need to pick it up otherwise they should just pack up and go.
Very pleasant experience except for the noise level. This restaurant needs better acoustics.
Food was okay. I had the salade Niçoise, which was a bit too chilly. I'd have preferred them at room temperature, A refrigerated salad is never a good thing in my opinion, but I love the mushroom soup and the desserts. Service was great. Overall I would say the menu was good but not quite up to the O&B standard I've had in Toronto... menu was a bit limited and a bit timid, not as good as O&B canteen for example
I am always impressed with all of the O&B restaurants. Love going to all of them. Food and service is always great.
Terrible service, slow when restaurant was empty. Good quality was very poor for overprice.
The waiter got the order wrong twice. We had to wait for a while before we were even served.
Service slow. The restaurant was not packed. Food was ok menu needs to be changed more variety
Very disappointed with my experience. It took almost 20min for to get our order in after being sat and over 30min to get our orders (it was for brunch). When we did receive our orders, one of them was incorrect, the eggs on two of the dishes were runny and the burger patties on my daughters sliders order from the kids menu were charred beyond the point where they could be consumed. I would have relayed this to our waitress except that she never reappreared after we received our orders (which were not brought to our table by her), and only resurfaced an hour later to present ya with the bill - never asking if there was anything she could do for us for bringing the wrong order to the table.
Not the kind of service I would expect from this restaurant. Very disappointed and do not think I will return.
We had brunch to celebrate my niece's final Doctor of Psychology exam. She passed and we gathered as a family to eat and congratulate her.
We had to wait 1 hour before our one glass of wine showed up to our table, 30 minutes before we received menus, then probably 1.5 hours before we received our lunch.
We did mention how disappointed we were with all this and the “person in charge” took the cost of our drinks off the bills.
Our waitress was possibly new, which we mentioned to the manager and she said no, she had been there 11 years. She looked about 17 years old, so that was a silly thing to say.
It was a nice place to bring my customers to but I found the lunch menu lacked creativity. I had the crab cod cake on coleslaw and my guests all selected the chicken club with salad. There was nothing on the menu that we found mouth-watering or that I was excited to try. My favourite part was the grilled calamari appetizer and sweet potato fries. The lunch menu needs a revamp, it was not worth the money.
Great ambience. I'm glad I made a reservation because it was quite busy, even at lunch time.
I met a family member for brnch and thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambience. We stayed a little longer and no one minded. I will recommend this restaurant.
Food was good. The service was a bit slow, however. I wouldn't recommend if you want to 'talk' to whomever you are with as it is very loud.
The only bad point was that when my friends arrived they were told that there was no reservation. One of my friends insisted on looking for me in the restaurant and found me. We did have a reservation but if my friend had not been insistent they would have turned them away.
Love this restaurant for an after work cocktail or early supper. Just wish the bar stocked Lime Cordial. Cheers.
Food good as usual, thought menu does seem smaller and more limited
This was our first time at Oliver & Bonacini cafe grill in Oakville Place and we enjoyed the experience. The food was very good and service was excellent. Our 12 year old enjoyed her burger and the tiramisu cake. Would definitely recommend the restaurant to others. A great dining option for shoppers after a day at the mall.
My moms bday was made so special by the excellent service and delicious food.
when the coffe is cold when served to you there has to be something wrong, when my wife and who use a sugar sub can not stand her coffe then I know this not the place I want to come for brunch asked for med poached eggs came soft boiled, 2 small slices of bread does not help with runny yokes
the worst part is we have eaten in all of the O&B in Toronto and since my family was coming in from Toronto to meet us I figured what better place sorry we were disappointed
Went to lunch/brunch to celebrate our son's birthday and I did not enjoy the meal at all. I had the Braised Brisket Hash (two poached eggs, smashed fried Yukon Gold potatoes, spinach, caramelized onions, Hollandaise). The best part of it was the poached eggs. The brisket was tough, hard and chewy cubes. The 'smashed' potatoes were not smashed at all and dominated the dish. The spinach and caramelized onions were hard to find. Others that had the Eggs Benedict commented they didn't enjoy having it served on a scone. I definitely wouldn't return for their lunch/brunch menu.
This place needs to be revamped. It has all the makings of a regular O&B restaurant but the staff are not attentive, the food is uninspired and the drinks are nothing special. I have been here many times over the last 5 years and it has been a steep decline in the last 2 years. It truly was once a great place for dinner or weekend brunch. I hope that they can bring back that high level of service, great food and the handcrafted drinks that once made it special.
We enjoyed excellent service and a varied menu to select from. Our boys loved the warm bread and we all appreciated the spring rolls apps. Our meals were very good and the atmosphere was conducive to a family gathering for my son's birthday.
Visited O & B with work colleagues. Setting was nice and quiet and we were able to hold conversations. Staff was friendly.
Very good food. Service was ok
Booth seating was a bit cramped but otherwise an overall positive experience!
Wonderful food and fantastic service! I have never been disappointed.
We have been to this location several times but this time we were disappointed. The food was lacklustre and the noise level was quite high. For what we paid for entrées we expected a lot more.
I do have to say however that the service was quite good and our waitress was most attentive
I had the grilled calamari as an appetizer and it was cooked just right and as an entree I had the Peekytoe Crab & Cod Cake and it was excellent. My twenty-something daughter really couldn't find anything that she liked on the appetizer list but she enjoyed her salmon entree.
The ambiance was good, but very limited menu.
Need to add more variety
