Plentiful, complimentary parking is provided directly in front of the restaurant, on the north side of Oakville Place shopping centre. Access from Leighland Avenue. Security gating in the shopping centre prevent guests from re-entering the shopping area after store hours, so be sure to park near the Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill entrance for evening dining.
Private Party Facilities:
Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill in Oakville offers private dining and events in the Trafalgar Room, accommodating up to 24 guests for a seated event, or 35 guests for a standing cocktail reception.
The Leighland Room is perfect for larger groups of up to 60 guests for seated events, or 80 guests for standing receptions. Combining the two rooms, we can accommodate 74 guests for a seated event, or 135 guests for a standing reception.
The lounge is also available as a semi-private space for standing receptions of up to 45 guests.

Three adults attended for New Year’s Eve earlier dinner at 6:30 pm. We had a lovely young server who was very helpful. We all ordered from the special 3 course menu for $65.00. One person had ordered the winter squash salad and didn’t realize that this was a cold salad which she did not like. We mentioned this to our server and she quickly changed it for the parsnip soup. The entrees were very good, one being Arctic char and beef tenderloin. The beef was cooked perfectly. The desserts were fine. We found the Oakville Mess which consisted of broken meringue, sponge toffee with a lemon curd and a few pieces of raspberry much too sweet. It certainly did look like a mess, served on a large plate, looking like it was thrown together.
The food was generally good, but I feel not up to the regular O & B standard.
We have had the pleasure of enjoying your friendly atmosphere and delicious meals since you opened at this location. You always go over the top for us and we a very grateful to your hostesses and your chefs for your excellent service and innovative creative meals. Thanks again for a wonderful evening in saying goodbye to 2017. We look forward to seeing you in the new year!
Very pleasant welcome at reception desk and efficiently shown to our booth. Pleased to receive a booth as we were only a group of two and I find your tables for couples too close together for a private conversation.
Our Server was delightful and the Eggs Benedict excellent as always!
A very positive, relaxed dining experience.
All food was enjoyed by our table. Wine service was horribly slow, so much so that we cancelled to last glass. Somehow there is a disconnect between the bar and the resterant . The bar only had 6 people it, so it wasn’t busy. Very disappointed with this aspect.
Office team went for our Christmas lunch recently. Server was very knowledgeable about menu options and helpful with selections. Food offerings were excellent, food when it arrived was excellent, but timely service was lacking. Took about 1/2 hour for server to bring water and take drink requests. In total, a simple lunch and dessert for 6 took almost 2 1/2 hours on a Friday afternoon.
The service and staff are wonderful and extremely attentive - however the food was absolutely awful:
- the beets in the beet salad had been left dressed for too long (likely several days) and were decomposing with a mushy texture.
- the seafood spaghettini sauce was basically tomato water with very little flavor
- the macaroni and cheese had no flavor or texture
- the mushroom soup was virtually flavourless and had a watery consistency
We thought this would be a great place for my father’s b-day but it was absolutely disappointing.
Our recommendation to this chain would be: keep the staff but fire your head chef. This menu needs to be completely redone by a qualified chef who knows how to create taste and flavor full dishes.
Don’t waste your time coming here unless the kitchen leadership changes.
Great reservation and welcome on site. requested a quiet corner in the restaurant - arrived early....no quiet corner exists so switched to the bar -- a corner in a booth with a table far too wide for the space...no way to fit two men.....loud music which I requested they turn down and did.....my guest ordered soup + salad...but they forgot about the salad until I was almost done my meal - a lifeless chicken ceasar with a hunk of chicken dropped on top. food quality is ok ---servers doint theor best Overpriced, cramped booth.....i will not return
Where do I even start , the food was extremely un appetizing - it was supposed to be a special evening for us - but what a shock and disappointing affair .
The green pea risotto had no seasoning- extremely blend , the fish was oily and the pasta dish was just too heavy - not worth the money we paid for the meal .
I will never go back . The server was helpful though.
Our soup which was luke warm was fairly quickly replaced and an apology given by the manager. We were then given a complimentary plate with a variety of desserts which was a very good gesture on behalf of the restaurant. We did not feel rushed through our meal or visit.
It was our first time to Oliver & Bonacini and we will definitely go back. The staff was very friendly and kind. The service was attentive and the food absolutely delicious. The menu offered great variety but was not overwhelming. Every dish that came to our table was fresh and hot. They offered a great wine list and we took advantage of the half price bottle of wine they offered as a Wednesday drink special. It was a wonderful evening celebrating our anniversary. I look forward to our next visit.
Having eaten at other Oliver and Bonacini restaurants such as Canoe, Auberge du Pomier and O&B in Blue Mountain, I was very disappointed. No, I was not expecting the same type of dining experience that I experienced at the first two restaurants mentioned, but I was expecting a decent meal. Our server was friendly, but the preparation and quality of the food served left me wishing I had taken my party somewhere else instead. This O&B doesn't measure up to the one in Blue Mountain. I was surprised to see so many empty tables on a Saturday night ! Now I know why.
While the food was exceptional we had two seniors in our party and the construction in the parking lot prohibited us from getting the car close to the entrance. They had to walk too far a distance over uneven ground. Until that construction is done I'd stay away.
Overall a good lunchtime experience. We enjoyed our meals. There was something of a wait between appetizers and entrees but the food arrived hot. For a mall restaurant, the décor was nice and the noise level was good for quiet conversation. A place we would go back to.
Five of us meet, not frequently, but regularly, so we want a special place. Admittedly, OB's is central to all our homes, but so are many other sites. We choose this restaurant. The food is good, the drinks are great and the setting is attractive. But we come back for the people: friendly and attentive. And, they are wonderful about allowing us to socialize. We never feel rushedi and they respond to any request. This is "our" place.
Very Busy Restaurant. We don't like the seating arrangement of a long row of tables with one side a bench , you are at a little table that isn't very comfortable. We requested booth in bar area or sep. table and got put in the row of tables again. When they moved us to bar area it was more private. The portions of food were very small but we enjoyed it. I asked for a little more gravy as everything was dry and got a very little extra. The Mall is under renovation and the restaurant is quite a walk from parking area. Will return again after the Mall is finished its renovation.

In order to receive the coffee I had ordered, we had to ask 3 times before
it arrived. After taking our orders the waitress vanished but did show up in time to deliver the bill to us.
Lastly, we have not received the100 points that we earned.
I ordered the main dish version of the grilled calamari as that was new. I usually got the appetizer version.
The main version was $9 more and just had more wilted lettuce added - on a larger plate. No side and no more calamari.
Absolute rip off and horribly disappointed.
Service was good, staff was friendly but food is over priced for the portion size (35 for 3 scallops) and not cooked well (asked for medium on steak and got rare). Even the entrees which were cooked properly were not very tasty.
We were 1 of 3 tables there on a saturday night so i guess i should have used that as a cue.

O&B Oakville has been my favourite place for many years.
However, my last visit was a disappointment.
One of the ordered dishes was the Friday's special....
It should be called "an overpriced can of diced tomatoes with a garnish of few muscles and occasional flake of fish"....
Has the chef ever tasted Bouillabaisse ???
