Food was great, service was amazing. Had family visit our family this weekend and bringing them there for dinner was a great choice.
I had the edamame hummus and it was different and delicious. Very refreshing. The poached salmon was forkable and the green beans were crisp and tasty. The yams were good as well. Dessert was bread pudding with a ring of whipped cream and caramel sauce. Yum! The service was prompt and unobtrusive. Just the way I like it.
The staff was wonderful and friendly, engaging and yet non intrusive. The food was great and the atmosphere relaxed. Jamie was an excellent server and her helper was lovely. We really enjoyed our experience and will definitely make a stop next time we are up at Blue.
Excellent service, delicious food, wonderful time. We arrived at a quiet time of the season, but we were extremely well treated. Felt very exclusive.
Lovely lunch...great food, relaxed atmosphere and efficient service. Will definitely go back.
Food and service was great at usual. Same with breakfast the next day as well.
I was not impressed with the quality of food and the service was terrible.
Great experience year after year!
Has become overpriced. Limited items on the menu. Food was satisfactory but not great. Overall I would say it has deteriorated in the last few years
We ended up having 4 for dinner which they accommodated and walked our daughter right to our table when she arrived. The gentlemen at the bar was very friendly and served us immediately while we waited for our reservation time. Our server Michelle was very friendly, attentive and informative. The food was excellent! Would recommend to anyone! Thank you!
The alcohol and meals were very expensive. However it was nice and we had a great time. My salad was okay not great but my husband loved his barbecued ribs and our friends liked their burgers. Service was good.
We were at Blue Mountain for 3 days and we ate here 4 times. Loved it!!!!!
Service was good but quite expensive. 2 Kids meals, a couple of no frills entres and one side with ice water (“tap”) over $100 with tip. Great location and convenient if staying in the hotel but too much for us to count on more than one meal here during our stay.
Food was good but over priced. The caesar salad was about $15 and the bacon was extra. You have to pay for bread now...surprised that the cream was included with my coffee. The tuna was excellent and the ribs were delicious but the portion size was just too big. I had the short rib - whch was very tasty...and creamy polenta.Wa
I felt like I was getting nickel-and- dimed for the whole meal which took away from an otherwise nice dinner. Even the water...you can get filtered "flat" water (is this Brita water?), filtered sparkling water and only ice water (i.e. tap water) was free. This was just annoying . Server was good...attentive enough but not hovering.
Meal quality was the equivalent to Moxies which is ok but was well more expensive. Waitress never checked on us and couldn't be found when needed her.
All of the locations are excellent! And the one at Blue Mountain is extra special because of the views and the feeling that your are at a lodge. Excellent bar & drink selection. And the dishes are unique, but done in a familiar & enjoyable way. Love it!
Was expecting really good food but it was just ok and not as described in the case of one dish. A $24 black tiger shrimp tempura appetizer yielded regular sized, battered and deep fried (definitely not tempura) overcooked shrimp. Our server was great. Ambiance on that early weekday was sleepy - just a few families dining. Generic interior design. The cocktail was very good though.
My husband and I both really enjoyed our meals -absolutely delicious. I tried some of his and he had some of mine.
I went for a bachelorette party at around 2:30pm (7 people total). A slow time of day for most restaurants, however our food took almost 50 minutes to come out so anyome in a rush i would not reccomend this place. We, however, were in no rush and didn't mind the relaxing atmosphere ideal to sit and chit chat. As for the food itself, I had their signature mushroom soup which despite being very rich with mushroom flavour lacked any spice or seasoning. My friend got the eggs benedict which came out cold (but with a very hot plate). The rest of the party who got mainly burgers and sandwiches enjoyed everything with only positive feedback to give. Our server was very friendly and gave us reccomendations on where else to visit later in the evening.
Overall it was a nice experience and I would reccomend it for anyone who wants to enjoy nice conversation with nice atmosphere.
Food was overpriced and undervalue.
Charged us for the bread after having paid $200.
Only go there out of convenience as we stay at the westin
We took our granddaughter to experience finer cuisine. She is six. We had a lovely breakfast and our server was amazing. Best eggs Benedict I’ve had in a long time.
In Collingwood it’s a bistro more than the fine dining but all round excellent. Highly recommended
Have eaten here since 2 weeks after it first opened... excellent as always.
Gem in Ontario...would highly recommended.. food was excellent
$5 for the bread basket says it all. It is symbolic of their attitude toward the generally wealthy resort crowd. Food was bad, and prices were crazy. But that's what you get at Blue Mountain Village. I was thinking about my beef rib that was sitting in green slop for days...shouldn't have eaten it...couldn't get it out of my mind. But I was hungry, and it was $35. Look, if you are the Westin, it is convenient. But set very low expectations and expect $75 pp minimum.
Travelled 2.5 hours and
areived early and were ignored as we waited at the bar.Indifferent service, no accommodation for waiting 45 minutes. Almost walked out.
App tastes warmed over; greens over done; desserts that a kid conjured up.
Super disappointed and will avoid O&B properties now. It seems the Blue Mountain location is too swamped with conferences and presents more as acafeteria then a restaurant for a dinner on a ski getaway. Waste of money.
Doubtful to return. Staff not very attentive. “Winterlicuous” menu options on the sad side. Brisket main gave the odour of cat food/spam. Didn’t eat it all, waitress didn’t return for a long time to ensure patrons enjoyed their meal selections. Awkward to wait around and have meal get cold and husband’s meal finished to explain situation to waitress. Waitress offered a horrible gin option for my gin and tonic. She said it was a gin, but more of a liquor. Her recommendations were not helpful, also she never inquired if I enjoyed her recommendation. Should have read more reviews prior to making my reservation. Pizza was great. Sparkling water was as expected.
Food was good. Though some came out cold. We had two tables of 5 and the other table didn’t even get to order and we had our apps. Drinks took forever. Overall food was decent. Ambience good
I've eaten here before and knew the food was good but this last time was just beyond delicious. We had the pan seared branzino and the 10oz steak and it was A+
Food was good and the restaurant was beautiful.
Our server was very nice however service was very slow and we didn't see him much.
In my online reservation I requested something special be done for my husband as it was his Birthday but unfortunately nothing was and this wasn't even mentioned.
The winterlicious lunch was good value. The service was great.
Enjoyed the Winterfixe menu very much! The server recommended great dishes. Though the vegetarian option was a big lacking in taste. Everything else was really nice.
Located right in the Westin so convenient. Service was great.
The food was amazing, and the service was incredible. We had an amazing date night and would definitely go back!
The food is terrible. You have to pay for a bread basket. After ordering a second bread basket we realized that the first one we paid for was stale and almost inedible. Probably one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. We spoke to the manager and she was kind and apologetic and took things off the bill. The service was pretty good but the food was awful.
Food was ok, nothing worth raving. A tad salty at times. Service was impeccable
Food is mediocre, at best. Prices are too high, particularly the $15 kids grilled cheese!!!!
Service is often painfully slow.
Jerk chicken was amazing. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly.
It was a good place and the food was very good. Friendly servers as well. I would recommend it to others
I had booked a reservation for a specific time and was made to wait over 20 minutes to get a table. Servers wouldn't even come to get us when the table was ready instead were busy doing other things. Had to repeatedly go back to remind them that we had reservations. My pasta was a little under cooked and the overall experience was not that great.
We love this restaurant. Always eat here when we're up skiing at Blue. This time no skiing, drove up from T.O. just for the meal...okay, I also had just taken delivery of my new SUV and wanted to have some fun on a bit of a road trip. But the restaurant was the main attraction, 😁.
