Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill, Blue Mountain
Savour Executive Chef Jeremy Korten’s diverse choice of appetizers, seafood, steaks, chops, ribs, pasta, fire-roasted pizza and gourmand burgers, complemented by a well-chosen wine list with plenty of good value and great splurges.
O&B Blue Mountain’s bright, stylish dining room offers cozy tables by the fire in winter and breezy pondside terrace seating in summer. O&B also provides inspired catering in the Westin Trillium House for private events, conferences, and weddings.
Food was good. But overpriced. Friendly staff. Probably won't be back.
Simply "OK". Overpriced in my opinion but what isn't in Blue Mountain? Service was quite good.
I went there with my girlfriends to celebrate friend's bday. At the end of our meal, they gave my friend a bday card. All of us were very impressed with their thoughts and sweetness.
The food was lovely. All of my party mentioned how nice their dish was. A little bit pricey but as it’s on resort it’s sort of expected. The half price bottle of wine on a Wednesday was a bonus.
Michelle was our server and we found her attentive, courteous and very accommodating. The food was fantastic and came out quickly but not rushed
Had to wait for 20 mins before ordering and then another 30-40 mins for the food to arrive, the whole time without anyone coming to see us or give an update. Terrible service.
It wasn’t my favourite place to go to especially for our 19th wedding anniversary dinner. We thought it would be a quieter ambiance but unfortunately it wasn’t. We were told there would be gluten free hamburgers when I called in to confirm options for my son. Unfortunately was disappointed when we sat down and ordered. No gluten free hamburgers. What can you do. Can’t always win. Although there was gluten free pasta as an option.
The food and service were outstanding. The ambiance was poor. This is a restaurant not a dance bar. The music volume was unacceptable and we successfully asked to be moved as we could not even hear our server talk about the specials. I have been to the restaurant a few times and the music volume has never been at that level before (dining time was 7:00PM). I would reconsider going back again unless I was guaranteed a table well away from the front. If another table was not available, we would have left.
Ate here on Friday morning and food and service where excellent. Came again on Saturday morning and food was excellent and service was good but could have been more attentive. We are on balcony and had to come to ask for jam and then had to come in when we where done to ask for the check. Not a big deal at all but not the level of service you typically get here. I’ll for sure be back.
Our server KYLE made our experience lovely. He was very attentive and a good conversationalist. However, I had mentioned several times it was my daughters birthday and no one seemed to know anything and that was disappointing. This was the reason I chose the restaurant. Kyle handled it well.
Outstanding as always, however it was an extremely long wait to get the final bill as the clients were anxious to begin their tour - long wait to have someone come by to ask for the bill and long wait to receive it
Service was great. But the food was pretty bad for O&B standards from other locations. Examples - undercooked potatoes and way too much salt for the shisito peppers (had to request them remake the dish)
We eat at O&B BlueMountain a lot and love it! The food is always amazing, service is outstanding and on our most recent visit there was an awesome DJ spinning tunes on the patio. The music and overall vibe of the restaurant made for the perfect summer night. We also really love the cocktails. We think the bar staff go out of their way to craft some really great ones and we are never disappointed! Great place!
Food wasn’t worth the price paid.
Service was extremely slow, yet the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. kids were hungry and cranky
We took our kids who are picky eaters and they absolutely loved it. Great place to have quality food with your family.
Yes! Celebrated a small bachelorette party - staff were great and helped make our night memorable
Great atmosphere on the deck. Food was good as was service
Overall a good experience. We've been going here for years and bread used to be included but now they are no longer providing complimentary bread. Veggies and hummus dip appetizer was too difficult to eat as it came in one deep bowl with the dip at the bottom. Too difficult to share. Our meals were all good and overall we were happy to eat here. We always look forward to coming to Oliver and Bonacini every year.
My fiancé and I were in Blue for the weekend. We were pleasantly surprised to find an Oliver and Bonacini in the Village and were eager to go for dinner.
Chad our server and Nick the bartender were outstanding. Both were knowledgeable, attentive, and easy to converse with.
We would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great setting & views. Fusion spin on italian cuisine.
Was not busy yet it took an hour to get out entrees.
Everything was fantastic! I ended up bringing an extra guest as the client's wife wanted to do a site tour for her company as well, and the lunch could not have been better! Amazing service, we were late for our reservation but seated right away and the food was outstanding. Thank you for making me look good! A big shout out to our server, I think his name was Ethan and he was very attentive during our entire meals without being overbearing, which the clients commented on :)
The place had real curb appeal, but just didn’t deliver on either great food or service. The service was almost non-existent.
Relaxed dining on the patio.
Very slow service. Our server was not attentive and went MIA for most of the time. Food was good, but took over an hour to arrive. Make sure you reserve enough time for your meal there. To make things worse, the open kitchen (and the pizza oven in there) made the whole place overly warm and unbearable during the wait.
Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Accommodating service.
Not worth the price.
The service was ok but based on the prices not what i would expect
Have always liked O got food after an hour of being there: most help seemed to be new / untrained; chair arm was broken....
Not up to O&B standards and not worth the prices charged....
The service was fantastic, the food was good, the only concern being the pricing. Although I anticipated the bill being expensive, the cost versus the amount of food didn't make it feel like a great option.
Amazing food and great service. Being able to bill to the room is fantastic. Plastic cups for kids would be a great idea!
Simply disappointing. We’ve been enjoying Oliver and Bonacini restaurants for years including the Cafe Grill at Blue but now this is just a tourist trap with a long menu of overpriced dishes. Service remains top notch but the food was nothing to write home about.
The staff were great, treated us to champagne as we were there for our honeymoon. The food was good, not great value for the money. I feel the dress code for staff is way to casual, jeans should not be acceptable.
We ordered ribs. They were so “smokey “ we could not eat them and left them there. We also had specialty coffees and they were Luke warm at best. Lots of crying children too
Certainly not the positive experience that I have had in the past at O&B. Very disappointed.
Great experience. Staff were fantastic.
We go to O&B at least once or twice a year and always have a great experience. This visit was no different! My wife and I, our two kids and their two friends had a stellar meal. Our server was engaging and made the effort to focus specifically on the needs of the kids. Always a great meal and well worth the price for the quality of the food and the level of service.....
Ordered steak and it was. It made medium and very rubbery
Ordered ribs and they were tough and smothered in too much bbq sauce
Staff was fabulous. Food was great. Not rushed truly enjoyed experience.
We always look forward to Springlicious @ O&B! Have never been disappointed with food or service!
