Contemporary American
O&B Café Grill, Bayview Village is the first location of Oliver & Bonacini’s casual dining restaurants. Despite its North Toronto location, this large urban space feels very downtown. A gleaming open kitchen extends into the airy dining room, featuring washed tin ceilings, leather banquettes and dramatic and distinctive light fixtures. Its two exclusive private dining rooms offer the perfect space for social gatherings, celebrations or corporate events.

Refined yet casual, O&B Café Grill, Bayview Village’s expansive menu of North American and Italian classics offers something for everyone, including fresh, made-from-scratch soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas and fire-roasted pizzas. The weekend brunch menu showcases a mix of classic Eggs Benedict and Belgian Waffles alongside inventive comfort food like Fried Chicken & French Toast.

I usually have great experiences at O&B restaurants but the food was off or something? I ordered the tuna avocado roll and it looked and tasted like mushrooms and avocado? It was strange. And service was a bit slow even though the place was practically empty.

Always lots of choices; perhaps too many! We like the relaxed atmosphere and the servers are very kind with older guests.

We were served promptly for our birthday brunch. The food portions were good and the quality and value were very good too. The only downfall was that we were celebrating a birthday and while we indicated on Open Table that we were celebrating a birthday no acknowledgement was given.. We expect better attention to detail from a professional restaurant business.

Arriving early I was welcomed regardless and both servers seem to be aware of the fact that my table mates when they arrived needed to sit relax and talk.
The food was very good and not being rushed was even better.

I had to wait for more than 15 mins for my table even though we came right on time for my reservation. The lady there said because of the overlap booking by open table! The funny thing was that you have no other option for you to make reservation on their website except thru OpenTable. That meant they realize the problem but does not plan to find a solution for it.

We were there for a special dinner for my wife & they had set up our table in the emergency alias of the restaurant. We were so close to other table we could hear everything there were discussing. It will be the last time we ever visit your restaurant!!!!

Really quiet for brunch. Food arrived very quickly. The quiche was light and fluffy and delicious and the salad that came with it had a lovely vinaigrette. Mimosas tasted very fresh. Service was friendly and unobtrusive.

It is noise in Friday night, the table is too small and too closer table to table. Crowd setup really has a casual cafe feeling. But staff is friendly, we ordered margarita pizza which was great. The fettuccine bolognese was too salty. The cocktail of mojito is sweeter than the regular one. If it could maintain Italian cuisine like before would be much better, Still miss the old days of O&B.

We booked a table at this restaurant as my mother was visiting from out of town. I’ve eaten at O&B for many years and I’ve never been disappointed with the service, or the food. Everything is delicious and presented beautifully. I highly recommend this restaurant.

They have refreshed their "aged" menu finally but not by much. Like to see a complete revamp if possible as it has been a few years. Service is always good but noise level at the Bayview Village location is subpar. Perhaps the hostess / manager can do a better job of putting families with younger children in one area so they can drown each other table out :)

Have eaten brunch and dinner here before but this was the best meal so far. Service was a bit slow to start with but improved as the restaurant emptied. The noise level also improved but was not too bad to start with. All 3 courses were excellent. Limited selection of draught beer but ok

We've been coming here on every New Years day for the past several years because it's one of the few places that are open. Food was excellent a few years back but it's been going downhill since. This latest visit was just disappointing.

Arrived at 12:25 for 12:30 reservation. Got seated at 12:50. Food was inedible and was returned. Replacement was the same Asked to speak to manager but he or she never showed. Those who ignore their clients deserve to have their restaurant ignored too. I won’t be back.

Went for brunch and received very ordinary plates. Mu husband ask for white eggs for the steak and eggs and couldn’t do it. Basic! Not impress with the eggs Benedict plate. Sorry but this place did not meet our expectations.

I have been to O&B several times, was there for a bday. Service was ok, but out eggs Benedict were terrible. Actually, sad presentation and the sauce tasted too acid. The French toast was fine, we ordered the strawberry and banana sides to perk it up.

Noise level is way too high, even when the restaurant is not real busy. Makes it difficult for those with hearing aids, and the number is growing. The staff are all very charming, polite and accommodating, but the food service is often slow even at less busy times.

Food is not as expected. Maybe too many customers.
The home fried potatoes are hard .
My whole-wheat toast is not fresh and a bit chewy.
Poached eggs was not cooked as requested.

I made a reservation 3 days in advance for a business meeting. Whereas we arrived on time, we were guided to a small round table right near the entrance. It was so obvious that they asked us to seat near the entrance because we made a reservation through Open Table. I don’t how much they pay Open Table but it was a clear message that they want us to make a reservation directly with them next time.

We were rushed from the moment we sat down at 6:00 even though they always had empty tables and were far from full. Mains arrived immediately after the arrival of appetizers.
Not fun to be rushed during Christmas dinner with a dear friend.
Fish and chips was really “fishy” not great.

Place is looking tried, our booth, and several others had the vinyl seating fabric torn exposing the fabric underneath, looked really shabby and not what you would expect from a higher-end restaurant

No I would not very noisy and prices are very expensive for what you are receiving.
The noisy was not very nice - I Almost think dining in the subway would be as nice.

I am not sure if it was the season before the Christmas holidays - maybe sound absorbing surfaces would be better

Our waiter was not very attentive. It took half an hour for someone to take our orders. We might have ordered dessert as well, but we were never offered menus. Our waiter was not very helpful. We would ask one question and then he answered and left. We had other questions, but never had the chance to ask. Sorry our presence was such an inconvenience to him.
