Olive Leaf Bistro Ratings and Reviews
Birthday celebration, the food was outstanding and service was top notch. The entertainment was just what we were looking for and we will return as well as our friends said they would come back as well.
Thanks Again for a wonderful experience and friendly atmosphere.
Way overpriced for quality. I would say the dishes we ordered were $12 quality and definitely not $22. We're no strangers to $100-$200 meals, this did did not warrant the price tag. It wasn't inedible, but it definitely wasn't anything special.
There were new servers and confusion over who was serving our table so the service was delayed at the beginning. Also, the way they served the wine was was interesting. Our red wine was served in an ice bucket and uncorked before coming out to the table. Hmmm.
Was another great experience at this restaurant. Everything was absolutely awesome. One problem we had was the gratuity was added to the credit card. My mother was not made aware of it when we were presented the checks. Would have been nice to have been informed.
Great location. The baclava was excellent!!!
The fish did not seem fresh. We both were quesy later in the evening.
Loved the setting and the ambiance.
Server seemed put out because we changed locations and was slow to provide refills. Seemed a little unprofessional for an upscale venue.
Wanted to love it but liked it. Will try one more time.
The food is quite good but maybe a bit overpriced for location. Indoor seating is organized in an odd way and doesn't maximize the river view, you are definitely indoors and we were tucked back in a corner of a separate room behind a large party even after requesting outside table. I will go back on date night but call to guarantee outside.
First time eating dinner here. Nice ambiance in the restaurant. Food was very good though a little pricey. However, the portions were a good size. Our server, Kyle, was wonderful! Very attentive with good menu recommendations for us. The sangria was tasty, the salads were fresh and the chicken dishes we had were full of flavor. We will definitely be returning to The Olive Leaf!
Went for the brunch, wasn't very good. There wasnt many breakfast options to choose from and the desserts weren't homemade; looks like they were store bought frozen, then thawed.
Waitress forgot about our table, had to go in for our bill.
Their regular menu looks wonderful, may have to go back and try the dinner menu.
We had been to this restaurant only once before this visit . . . about a year or so ago. The quality of the food has really deteriorated. There were four in our party, all selecting a different main course. And all agreed that the quality would not allow for a return visit.
This was a great dining experience. Our server was Robert and he was very friendly and courteous. He did a great job taking care of us on our anniversary. The atmosphere was great. The evening was not too hot so we sat outside. Traffic at times could be loud, but overall will definitely return and recommend to our friends and family.
We thought the food was way over priced for the quality of the items. I specifically asked for my steak to be more medium rare than medium well and that was not how it came out. My son had the same problem with his steak and my husband's chicken kabob was less than stellar. The best part off the meal was the calamari appetizer. We will not be going back.
Wife, daughter and I had a very nice brunch this morning. Food was excellent and service was even better. We set out on the patio and enjoyed each other's company without feeling rushed. The staff seemed to enjoy what they were doing and interacted with us every step of the way. My glass never went dry. We will definitely be back.
This is an outstanding restaurant in a great location overlooking the river. The service and food are incredible. The owner/chef creates special brunch buffets for special occasions such as Mother's Day, Valentines Day, etc and they are without a doubt worth taking advantage of. I have been here for both special occasions and evenings out for dinner and it is always delicious. The service staff is very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend.
We had a reservation, they did not have a table ready for us. They took 25 minutes to seat us and then never came around to offer drinks or acknowledge we were there. We left after waiting another 20 minutes. Another patron told us that they waited 2 hours for their food. Very disappointing , we had been here previously and it had been delightful. hopefully just a bad night and they are getting back on track
We ate dinner Oaks night and had a great experience. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was excellent. A glass of wine was accidently overturned which resulted in several glasses down and quite a mess. Our waitress and the rest of the staff went out of their way to help clean up. We had a great experience and will definitely return!
The service was very good, not too much, but there when we needed it. The cocktail I had was OK, but average. The lobster bisque was thick, had real pieces of lobster, was a good size, but the excess salt was a negative. I ordered the Rabbit because I'm not a fan of pasta, but it still had plenty. I ate the rabbit (good quantity), ate the carrots and left the pasta. Sadly the marinara sauce overpowered the mild taste of the Rabbit. Loved the river view and the parking, but we won't be back.
We had a wonderful experience at Olive Leaf Bistro. The service was great. The meal was delicious, and the ambience was perfect. We highly recommend the bruschetta for an appetizer. The chicken kebab was succulent. The angus rib eye steak was perfectly seasoned. We went on Saturday night and Lonnie Bryant was playing guitar. It was a most relaxing evening for us and we cannot wait to return.
Took my family here for a nice, sit down dinner. Read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed. Wait staff was excellent and attentive. Food was delicious. We sat outside and although it was windy, it was a nice place to get a view of the waterfront. Looking forward to returning here again. Good job!
