Olive and Ivy brings a bustling Mediterranean neighborhood market to the Scottsdale Waterfront. You’ll find fresh baked bread, handmade pasta, rich espresso, and an array of sandwiches and salads. That’s not all – guests can choose from a large array of wines by the glass and an even larger reserve wine listing by the bottle! When you dine on our massive French Riviera inspired patio you’ll feel like you’re in southern France, not southern Scottsdale.

We have never had a less than wonderful experience here. Fantastic cocktails, food and service. Again!! Bacon wrapped tenderloin and flatbread pizza were delicious. JC took great care serving us! Cannot wait to come back.

Service was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive, although noticeably busy. I always prefer to not sit at a two-top table as it is not large enough for drinks, appetizer, water, and food all at the same time. We were sat in the middle of the dining room, which was very loud and had so many people walking by, either being sat or leaving. it seemed as though the restaurant was shortstaffed as I would’ve liked to move to a different open table and though many servers passed by, they were bee-lining to their next task and unable to catch my hand as I waved for attention. Love the restaurant and the food, and will definitely be back, Just wish that it was a little more comfortable of an experience, like it used to be instead of busy and loud experience. It’s very rare to find a comfortable family-friendly spot in old town with great food and a nice atmosphere and it feels as though this restaurant is prioritizing turning tables, over providing a relaxing experience as it’s ethos and menu promotes and allow for typical volume conversation.

Only the hostess was a bit rude. I asked if we could change tables since they had some free tables, and she told me they had other reservations. We were celebrating a birthday, and they gave us a table right next to the kitchen.

We went for happy hour and stayed through the dinner time. We ended up just doing appetizers, drinks and dessert without an entree. We had the lamb meatballs and crispy brussel sprouts with cranberry pesto. Both were delicious! I had the spicy margarita and my friend had the watermelon spritz. We both enjoyed our drinks. We shared the creme brulee for dessert, which was wonderful! Our server Mark Anthony was fabulous and the other staff were very attentive and friendly as well. The atmosphere was nicely lit and not too noisy until later when a big group of mostly men were extremely loud. Several servers kept rotating over there to quiet them down but without much succes. Prices were about what you would expect, but higher than what we would usually spend for the amount of food and drinks we had. We had a gift card which was one of the main reasons we chose this restaurant. We will definitely go back, but probably not on a weekend night!

We were seated immediately but waited 15 minutes and no waiter. Had to stop one walking by and she helped us ….but wasn’t our waiter. He finally showed up and crouched on a knee bey the table to take our order….but had to repeat our order 3 times because he couldn’t hear us ….noise level is like an echo chamber. ….

Great location and nice choices for lunch. Of course, servings are mega-sized - so easy to share. Overall, a lovely lunch experience. Service is exceptional!
