Olive & Ivy Restaurant & Marketplace Ratings and Reviews
I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. 5 stars? Maybe out of 10…
Brunch was below average, offering a handful of mediocre breakfast-y things. There was no yummy French toast, pancakes or even an omelette! I ordered the eggs benny which was served dry boasting a teaspoon of hollandaise and was extremely underwhelming.
For lack of choice, my mom ordered a tuna salad sandwich for $14. Really? What respectable chef even puts a tuna sandwich on a brunch menu! ?
It was my birthday this information was in the reservation comments AND I INFORMED THE HOSTESS. Not only did my server not acknowledge the day with a complimentary ANYTHING I wasn't even told "Happy Birthday"...
While I'm new to AZ, I know in my foodie heart that there's got to be a better place to dine as this couldn’t possibly be “as good as it gets”.
Walked in at our reserved time and had to wait almost 15 min for our table at lunch. Menu was extremely disappointing. This place seems to be on par with Cheesecake Factory and that is not a good thing. Not sure how this qualifies as Mediterranean cuisine. Burgers? Tuna salad? This is the type of place that caters to snowbirds who frequent Walmart. Not recommended.
One of the persons in the parties sandwich was not up to par. She said something to the waiter and he just said something to the effect, "well, that sometimes happens". He did not offer to bring her else or something else or make her entry again. There was very little chicken and it was tough. We were surprised at the lack of care, except billing us for something she didn't eat.
Whitney seated us... she is Consistently friendly and responsive to questions asked. Mark was an attentive waiter... sat on patio ... very enjoyable....
Consistently delicious food ... that is why we enjoy Olive & Ivy as well as the majority of Fox Restaurants....

We always enjoy our time at Olive & Ivy! The food food is always delicious - menu is consistent and chefs have mastered all of their dishes! Red sangria was a refreshing accompaniment to our dinner and we love the bread with pesto. Service is always very good, ambiance is upbeat and fun and we had a very comfortable booth for date night! Bruschetta for appetizers, scallops with polenta and bacon wrapped pork tenderloin for main dishes were pure perfection! Music is lively and we enjoyed walking along the "river walk" after dinner! Awesome date night!
Fantastic experience all around! Quality of food is very high, with fresh products and ingredients! Sam was our server and he was exceptional at his job! I rated "service" 4 out of 5 stars only because we had an "interesting" interaction with a new manager who came by. Had he just let Sam handle us, it would have been a full 5 stars!! (I could tell Sam was super uncomfortable with the situation as he realized it was awkward for us.) Sam is an all-star.
I've been here a few times before and wanted to bring my boyfriend for New Years. I was really looking forward to the bruschetta and its various choices, which wasn't available on the set menu. Every step while making the reso, a set menu was not brought to my attention. So this trip was somewhat disappointing. Everything I came for was not on the menu. The food was still good and the service was friendly. My bf loved his ribeye and potatoes. But the bread was hard and almost inedible. The experience I wanted, I didn't get. So it's a toss up if I'll be back.
Our new favorite place. Every menu item we have tried has been phenomenal. Service is top notch. Definitely recommend reservations as it is always busy and a bit of a wait if you don’t. We haven’t been able to sit on the patio yet but it is beautiful. Love this place!
Loved our table next to the patio with the wall open. Great food. Service nice. Only downside was by request f one patron they closed the wall and we lost our outdoor feel. It’s too bad one person can take the enjoyment away from everyone else. But we do love this place and it was a great Christmas celebration.
