    My wife and I visited Olive & Ivy for the first time last night to celebrate our anniversary. We made a reservation in advance, so the wait was minimal. The restaurant was classy and hip in appearance, the ambience was perfect with a warm light glow and a waterfront view, and the food was delicious. Shaun was our waiter and he took good care of us. He was kind, informative and honest, and he made sure we enjoyed the dining experience. He also gave us warm wishes on our anniversary and treated us to a tasty lemon soufflé. Thanks Shaun and Olive & Ivy. Highly recommended. We’ll be back!

    We were seated outside had an L shape sofa with fire pit. It was very comfortable. Service was quick and friendly. Food we ordered was the flatbread lasagna and short ribs. All were excellent. I took a couple of out of town friends so they could enjoy the Christmas lights, the staff seated us so we had a great view. We enjoyed our time there.

    Great place, liked the experience we had a table somewhat it a busy traffic area. They were not so busy and the hostess should have pick a better table but we still had a good time

    It was great from the start! They greeted us and our out of the country friends so nicely. Our friends asked me how they knew they were guests from out of town and told them I had added that to the reservation:)

    One of our favorites in Scottsdale, we’re from Atlanta but always make it a point to come here when we’re in town. Mango Jalapeño Margarita is/was our favorite drinks, but they recently removed it from the menu (maybe it’s a seasonal thing?). Mediterranean salad with salmon + any flat bread, you can’t go wrong. & the Service is some of the best in Scottsdale!

    On a crowded evening (Black Friday), we were seated immediately (had a reservation). Our server was so nice, took our drink order and came back soon for dinner order. We all enjoyed our meals. It was a very nice evening.

    Food was great! Had to wait a long time for waiter to return to ask if we needed boxes, dessert and checks. Disappointed in setting. Advertised as on Scottsdale Waterfront, but we could not see the water at all through the tall shrubs. The water with lights would make for such a beautiful setting.

    Server had to redo the two separate bills three times to get it right. Server didn't even ask if we wanted to have our bills separate and dropped off one bill. With two men having a lunch the server should have at least asked first.

    Very busy on a Sunday evening. Took over 15 minutes to get our drinks and an hour to get our main course. They were most likely understaffed. Food was very good, but overall wait times were not what is expected from this establishment.

    Overall we had a decent dining experience. The restaurant was very busy, but we do not feel like we were being rushed or forgotten about by our waitress. The service was good. The food was OK, which is the main reason for the 3/5 star review. We ordered two appetizers, the calamari and the brussels sprouts. Bother were OK - the sauce for the calamari was amazing, but there was quite a bit of fried vegetables in with the calamari. I feel we only got 6-7 good pieces of calamari. The brussels were good - slightly more oily then preferred but overall good. For entrées, we ordered the shellfish bordetto and the rock shrimp tagliatelle. The bordetto was very good - I would consider going back again for this dish. But the tagliatelle was nothing special. The sauce wasn't very flavorful, and the noodles were very very soft and clumped together, as if they had been over cooked and then sat out. The ambiance is gorgeous. We sat in side but the patio looked lovely. If we find ourselves here again, we would try different things.

    Great food. Outside patio dining was perfect! Inside the music level would have been too loud for conversation! Our waiter did an excellent job of explaining how the lasagna differs from traditional. A fun night!

    Amazing! We came for my parents' 50th anniversary. The restaurant got the note on my reservation and made sure to acknowledge it and make it extra special. Food was fantastic and our server, Solomon was amazing. So thrilled with our experience!!

    The hostess was a little touchy when we arrived, but after that the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Sitting out on the patio was wonderful, but the main dining room is absolutely beautiful.
