Fantastic food. Our artichoke hearts appetizer never arrived. :-( Stone. Our waiter seemed preoccupied. We would go back for sure. Mistakes happen.
This is my Happy Place. Olive and Ivy never disappoints. Food and service are outstanding. Something for every palate and pocketbook.
such a loud place, we could hardly hear each other
Celebrated an Anniversary! Food was great and our server was attentive but wasn’t at our table too much! Would recommend to a friend 😊
We enjoyed a delicious lunch on their patio. Very good service.
This was our last visit to Olive and Ivy. The food portions were incredibly small compared to the prices charged at similar restaurants. The taste of the food also was lacking and very salty. The drinks were poorly made and not up to the previous experiences. Noise level was high making it hard to hold a conversation at the table. The bright spot was the attentiveness and friendly service by our waiter.
Great food. Scotch selection limited. Place very noisy...a little sound tempering would be helpful.
Great food and terrific service.
I've been several times and have a great time each time I visit. This particular day was a busy Saturday during brunch time and while the restaurant was very busy, the service was great, food came out in a normal amount of time, and it was definitely noisier than when I've been at quiet times but was I was still able to carry out a normal conversation with my friend. I can't wait to go back!
Slow service on sat! Unusual for the restaurant!
Patio dining at its best. Inside is too loud for our preference
Olive & Ivy is upscale, with an open preparation bar and kitchen, and very busy. The waiter was great, attentive and knew the menu. My tuna sandwich had nothing unique but was very tasty, however, my friend ordered a Chicken Pelini that had such little chicken it honestly looked like the packaged gross sliced kind, and the bread was not really Pelini bread. She took two bites and pushed it away, without intending to say a word. The manager was excellent. He noticed, apologized profusely, deleted her order off the check, and gave us a wonderful dessert for free. We watched many superb looking orders served to others so I guess we just ordered the wrong things. Bottom line, I would certainly try it again but my friend said never. She is an excellent chef so she knows quality. Great management makes a difference. ATTENTION: One real issue that they should definitely fix is the directions. They may legally be at the stated address, but in reality, they are about two blocks in the rear. I am betting they lose 25% new business because there are way too many other choices so after looking for 20 minutes one gets frustrated and gives up. They should change directions mentioning the small street that dead-ins at their doorstep, to make finding it so much easier.
Too loud inside. Wait staff was exceptional. I had the caesar salad with salmon and the salmon was a little dry. Pesto was amazing.
Wonderful food. Service started good but then deteriorated as they got better. We think the server had too many tables
Sat in a somewhat private room. Grateful for the quiet. Good waiter and great food. Good prices.
Music too loud to hear each other at the table.
This my go to meeting place when in the valley. Great location, a varied menu with something for everyone. Suitable for casual dining to special occasions. Attentive service without feeling rushed. Breakfast, brunch, lunch. happy hour and dinner...always consistently excellent. This is my Happy Place
We asked for a quiet table and were shown to a small room in the back of the restaurant. It was lovely. Our server was named Zach- very attentive without being intrusive. Food was fantastic- very generous portions.
Loved everything about it. Food great
Location nice. With wonderful patio fun
The flatbread pizza we ordered came out cold
We eat there frequently, however, this time felt very rushed, and outer eggs were over poached. Solid little yellow rubber balls. We waited for our server to come and ask if everything was alright, but she never did. Not a great brunch experience.
Me and my boyfriend come here every so often but this last time was disappointing, food seemed like it sat for a while before being brought to us and over all was underwhelming. They were busy with it being a holiday so probably best to skip them for the holidays.
Great vibe for New Years Eve Dinner
We love Olive and Ivy. We go there for many special occasions. We went with some friends on NYE. It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other without yelling to speak. They had a DJ. That would be fine if the music wasn’t so very loud. I almost always get the scallops, which are fabulous. This time they were different. A bit of a disappointment from past visits. I noticed the restaurant wasn’t as full as it normally has been on NYE.
Food is always good, but music way too loud, very difficult to carry on a conversation.
Best restaurant for us in the whole town! We went New Years Eve & made sure we had a reservation nearly a month ahead. The rib eye and scallops were amazing! I nearly licked my plate. Our servers were wonderful and attentive on a very obviously busy night. We will be back!
The food is exceptional and service is knowledgeable and helpful. Love this place and it never disappoints.
Server was very busy. We placed an order for hummus as an appetizer. But only did it not come, he forgot to take our lunch order. When our lunch came...the hummus did not. It was a disappointing experience
Great as always
Excellent food, reasonably sized portions, attentive service, perfectly located to enjoy Scotsdale’s character. Be prepared for slightly higher noise level if seated inside and prices on higher end but balances with the higher quality experience provided.
The sauces were very watery and dishes were tasteless
Parking was a real issue..what with the bowl game crowd & all..had to pay $14 at Nordstrom’s..outrageous..
Olive & Ivy should validate..
Happy New Year!!!
Olive and Ivy never disappoints. The food and the service was wonderful.
A large, stylish, bustling restaurant. Impressed by the efficient service. Flatbreads were delicious as was the sweet potato rigatoni. One of our best evenings in Scottsdale.
Just ok overall, maybe when it is busier it would be nicer. Ok food, ok atmosphere
I love Olive & Ivy! Noise level was a bit too high for 7:00 pm. Very difficult to have a conversation....I couldn’t hear the person sitting right next me talk. I love the music, don’t get me wrong...just a little too loud. Everything else was on point!!
Christmas celebration. Lassiter was our waiter and provided a wonderful experience. Both he or Mason are worth requesting for amazing service.
Awesome ambiance right downtown. We had the Ribeye which was fantastic. Great bread and pesto sauce too!
