Oli's Fashion Cuisine - Wellington Ratings and Reviews
The food and service was very good. Unfortunately, our table was inside near the front window. It was nighttime and the parking lot lights were directly in our faces. No shades or tinted glass to reduce the light. Very uncomfortable. When asking our waiter about it we were told they are aware of the issue but nothing could be done. We should of asked for a different table. Bigger question is if they knew this was a problem, why would they seat anyone near the window?
Our waiter rushed us and when we weren't ready to order after a very short time, right after our wine and martini were served, he made a "face" which my gentleman friend saw. His behavior was reflected in his tip, which is very unusual for us. He was rude and unwelcoming .
Tory was our waitress and she is exceptional! Our friends came from Vero Beach, and thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp-avocado appetizer, and the salmon. Tory Aldo recommended the banana. Bread pudding which was divine! Lovely outside dining!! Couldn’t have been better!
Second time here. This was a Sunday afternoon so dining room was empty and quite as opposed to first time when it was VERY loud. Food is good but they need to address the many fruit flies in dining room and in our drinks. Of course drinks were promptly removed (twice) and we were not charged for final replacements. Very nice but they need to address this issue.
I am surprised that in 2018 you do not offer organic anything,
not in a salad, your chicken or your meats. Your meats are
neither organic nor grass fed. I am constantly
having to have a caprese salad, it is the least offensive.
Always beautifully prepared, though. We have introduced
quite a few people to your establishment and all have
returned. There are lots of us out there who need to be
very careful of what we eat due to neurological disorders.
Bill was $26.25. Put $50 bill in folder. Got stupid question “Do you want change?” Well, yes, and was brought $23. When I asked for correct change wad told “We don’t deal in coins”. Then asked to speak with manager and she quickly brought 75 cents. Olis is not added to my listof frequently used restaurants.
Oli’s is a great restaurant!! Food is good drinks good ambiance very nice. Varied menu and it never disappoints. Would love to be able to reserve table outside as it does get loud . We have eaten here many times in the past year and will continue to come back
Very loud. We scheduled an early dinner and it took 7 minutes before anyone greeted us even though 6 different employees looked our way. Our server seemed distracted throughout the entire meal including while taking our order. I ordered the special that night which was mediocre but our friends who ordered off the menu were happy with their meals.
what started out as questionable - broken glass on the table - they immediately changed the paper and setup - then the fleas or no-seem's all around us ( we sat in the back where waitstaff came in and out of the door) - thus we moved to a hightop table in the front of the restaurant. Much better - food was good. An exciting restaurant - turned out to be enjoyable! They have got to do something about the bug problem.. They have got to be more cognizant of problems - broken glass). We love this restaurant - hope that they are not getting complacent!!
Server seemed like in a rush the whole time. Restaurant wasn’t closing for hours yet everyone seemed like they needed to go home. They were trying to take plates before we were even finished. Slow down. If you don’t want to serve professionally in a restaurant get a new job.
My party ate outside and it was delightful since the weather was pleasant. My mushroom flatbread was good however, my friends eggs Benedict came to the table cold. When she remarked to the waiter he took away her plate and brought her a new hot order. She was very pleased. My husbands eggs over easy were too well done but he didn't mention it to the waiter. The fourth member of our party had no complaints about his meal. I should mention that my friends Bloody Mary was $15.00 which we thought was outrageous!
We went for an early (6:30) dinner on NYE. Five of us. Seated promptly.
Tables were packed together, making it difficult for the servers to get around, but they managed.
Food was excellent, service was very good.
As noted in earlier reviews, the wine is very pricey, about 5X retail.
I inquired about corkage through an earlier e-mail to the restaurant, but they never responded, so I don't know if it is allowed.
Tuna tacos were good as was the short rib papadelli and the shrimp with pasta dish. The banana bread pudding was good but the zeppollis were not so much. They were more like fried cake than fried dough, I guess not what I’m used to. Overall the dining room is too congested, can hardly walk between tables and it’s very noisey, made even worse by excessively loud music. Would return but sit outside.
In Wellington for the week and looking for a nice dining experience. Was all of that and exceeded our expectations. Service was great. Our appetizer ceviche was yummy and we all enjoyed our entrees. Topped it off with Tres Leches cake to die for. A definite return.
Food was below average for the price charged and the service was even worse. In addition, I have reason to question the restaurant ‘s ethics. Specifically, I ordered a Bombay Saphire gin martini which after the first sip, I realized it was not the liquor I ordered. When I questioned the waitress, she told me that they were out of Bombay Saphire , so they made the drink with another brand I have never heard of. So, not only did they not tell me of the switch, but they substituted a bottom shelf liquor. This is outrageous for any restaurant , let alone one of this supposed caliber.
Bland, flavorless, and grossly overpriced. Hard to believe an actual chef has anything to do with the preparing the food. Had calamari and brussell sprouts appetizers and both were ridiculously small, lukewarm and under-seasoned. Linguini with clams tasted like boxed pasta and clams were the smallest I've ever seen. Marinara sauce hd a horrible burnt aftertaste. So many other places around that are far better for less money.
Went with my wife and mom for a Christmas breakfast. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived and we got served promptly. The ambience outside was very good (even though I didn't appreciate the loudish music that early in the morning). The servers were pleasant enough and the food was worth waiting for. It was very tasty and flavorful and the prices are very reasonable. I'd definitely come back and would recommend anyone to try it out.
