Oli's Fashion Cuisine - Wellington Ratings and Reviews
Restaurant did not honor reservation. Said the wait would be 25 minutes for a table indoors. We were given the option to sit outside. We reluctantly took that option even though it had rained and was somewhat windy. The table next to us had a chain smoker and when I went inside to request an indoor table they told me they were no longer available. Hostess promised to come outside to find a solution to our problem but never showed up.
The food is always excellent here, although the wine selection is sparse and overpriced. The only problem was when we checked in we said that because of the windy weather we no longer wanted to be seated outside. It seem that they then cancelled our Open Table reservation?
Service was good but the food was very disappointing. My shrimp scampi had five very small shrimp that were way over cooked. My wife had fish that was OK. The noise level seemed high. We have been to Olie's several times before, and were very satisfied. Not this time.
This is our go-to place for friends from palm beach and palm beach gardens since Wellington is half-way between boynton beach and those areas. It is always good. Service is excellent. We prefer to eat outside but the last time we ate there the skies were not friendly. We ate inside. Much noisier but dry!
The menu accommodates all diners and the fish tacos are my favorite.
As always, great food and fun atmosphere. The service was off Tuesday night: rarely happens. Salad came with dressing even though we asked for it on the side; took three attempts to get a second drink! But, since the servers are so nice and cute, we didn’t say anything. The devil, however, is in the details!
We’ll be back soon.
Our first visit for a lunch on Labor Day, won't be our last. Loved the calamari, loved the clams, loved the living lettuce salad, though the chicken was over done. Dion was a great and attentive server. We looking forward to another visit.
Great food, good service and reasonable prices. Moderate noise indoors fits in with the overall vibe. Did not sit on outdoor patio. Tuna tacos were excellent, steak salad was very good. Inventive dishes at less than 4-star prices. Good wine and cocktail menu. All in all, very good and we'll return.
Oli's never disappoints. Food is excellent, service is always considerate. This is a casual but "white tablecloth" spot. Currently offering a four course Chef's menu that is a good deal. Pasta dishes and tuna tacos especially recommended. Nice bar. Dined early on a Wednesday in summer; restaurant was calm, but still doing good business.
Consistently great food. Larger than usual portions that are beautifully presented. Brought new friends who loved the food as much as we. Only disappointment was restaurant was out of any of the short rib dishes (which we had been raving about). The short ribs were one of the main reasons we brought them to the restaurant. Fortunately they loved everything else that they ordered. Tuna tacos blew them away. Outstanding! Waitstaff is always excellent. Unfortunately as it got a bit later it also got very noisy. Close proximity of tables felt like the intoxicated loud mouth woman next to me was yelling in my ear. Definitely go but maybe bring ear plugs after 7PM. Worth it.
this is our favorite restaurant from Jupiter to Boca, never lets us down, fresh, delicious, made on order, awesome flavors and choices, the Shrimp and Grits are the best I have ever had, what a sauce, my wife loves everything, great service, happy hour, nothing lacking and price is right!!!!!!!!!! we drive to Oli's from Palm Beach Gardens, that tells it all
My husband and I decided to have dinner here one evening because we wanted to try something new, but stay local. We were seated right away at a high-top across from the bar, which had two large-screen t.v.s (good if you want to watch a game). The table was pretty small and by the time we received our drinks, bread, and appetizers, there was no space left. Our waitress was great and the drinks were good. Our food came out quickly, but there weren't many people in the restaurant. I ordered the ceviche for an appetizer and it was delicious; however, I was not a fan of the lobster risotto. My husband didn't care for his meal, either, but he did enjoy the tortilla chips that came with the ceviche.
