   Olio Pizzeria is a wonderful place to celebrate and enjoy a delectable dinner. We love that we can sit outside. The menu is fabulous . And the staff is hardworking, and very personable. I feel lucky everytime I get to go.

   Thank you responding to my request to be seated outside by the fountain. Food was exemplary as was the service! Enjoy the opportunity to purchase wine by the measure as in Europe. Too full this time for dessert so may order it first the next time!

   We always have the Umbra pizza. So amazing. Mushrooms and truffle. We discuss having something different, but then we smell it at another table and we cannot resist! The salads are delicious as well. This is the place to get gourmet pizza.

   Excellent, as always, this time with a very moving personal touch. I inadvertently left my eyeglasses on the table. We were already out of the restaurant when out waiter discovered them. But he ran out and down the street to catch us.

   The Caesar salad was wonderful! I really enjoyed the shaved Parmesan cheese. My husband had the lasagna which he also enjoyed and we even came away with a loaf of bread! Great evening meal before going on to the theater!

   Pizza was good. We had also a beet salad with Goat cheese. It was just a few slices of beet with a little bit of goat cheese on top of a lot of arugula. And the dressing was too salty. Not good. Definitely not worth $18.

    Everytime we eat at Olio y Limone or Olio Pizzeria, we wonder out loud why we don't more ofter. This time it was the pizzeria to great success. Great energy, great food, great staff. Pasta is fresh, pizzas yummy. I saw a salad that made me wish I had ordered that. Great options for everyone.

    Visiting and found on open table. Sat at the bar. Food, ambiance and service were all great. Have to do gluten free and they have pizza and pasta available. They do charge extra, but so nice to be able to have options!! Would definitely go back.

    Had a great first time at Olio Pizzeria! Took advantage of the "Restaurant Week" savings and enjoyed a first rate meal served by a superb waiter. We will be back!

    The food is the star at Olio Pizzeria. Our pizza was the best we ever had. The cheese, the crust, the toppings (black truffle) were just amazing and so flavorful. We really enjoyed our dinner and will probably make Olio Pizzeria part of our regular dinner routine when we’re in Santa Barbara.

    Overall the staff is very friendly, unfortunate that our hostess watched us while we finished eating and made to feel like a nuissance. Our servers were always very nice. A shame she made us feel unwelcomed with our special needs child.

    First meal out in nearly 3 years. Favorite pizzeria. Outdoor terrace setting. Great food. An array of pizza, pastas, and apps. Very attentive service. Place was packed and deservedly so. Looking forward to our next visit.

    Excellent food. We had the Parma pizza, bolognese pasta and chicken picatta. All were delicious. The Tiramisu dessert was probably the best I've ever had. We went on a mid-week night so it was quiet. We have tried to go on weekends and it's really busy. I would strongly suggest making a reservation if going on a busy evening.

    We did not receive our drinks until after our food came out - this was after asking 2 waiters other than the one serving us about the 20+ minute wait. They never brought out one of our appetizers. Our waiter walked past our table several times and never made eye contact. He never came to our table to ask if we needed anything. The restaurant's hostess was rude to us. When we asked her about our missing drinks she asked sarcastically, "Well, then do you want them cancelled?" She never voiced any concern or contrition. Our group represented three senior adults, one who is black. We wondered if either of those factors could have resulted in our very poor service and this frustrating experience.

    My Wife and I ordered a pizza off-menu, pasta, and a one-half liter of wine. The food was exceptionally good. (I am a NYC (50 years) pizza snob) Pizza was Queen Margarita. good crust - but forgot to order it extra cooked - for crispy chewy crust and a few crust bubbles and burned edges. Next time and there will be a next time soon.

    Although the food can be great, tonight's experience was really terrible. First of all, this place is terribly understaffed. And the staff that is working are not friendly or welcoming at all. A request for anything you might need is either forgotten or takes forever, or you end up having to ask multiple servers to get it fulfilled at all. The plastic wrap found in my dinner companions pasta was never addressed at all as the server literally never ever came back to the table once the food was served. The whole mood of the place is "don't bother us, we really don't care, eat and get out" not a good environment. It's too bad because it has tons of potential, but the service ruins it. Plastic wrap cooked into food in unacceptable, and that was really the moment that made me want to write this review. I had to get up from the table and go over to the bar to get my bill paid as no one ever returned as I mentioned before, and it's shocking how unapologetic the staff is as your wandering around with your credit card trying to just find someone to pay. Truly bad experience this evening.

    The white bean soup was incredible! Also highly recommend the capriciossa pizza with an egg. Liked tHose a lot more than the truffle mushroom pizza that had great reviews- personally I found it to cheesey

    Alright, I'm going to keep this short.... I was a BOH/FOH worker in restaurants. I'm sure a lot of people with industry experience still have nightmares about that one job that they hated going to everyday mostly due to a toxic work environment. My experience at Olio was uncomfortable because I could smell the poor attitudes mixed with zero leadership in the entire place. Save your money, there are MUCH BETTER places in the area to get dinner.

    I hate writing poor reviews. Firstly both our sodas were brought in warm cans with a glass of ice. Warm soda is still warm when you put it over ice. Strike one. The bruschetta used to be tasty years ago, but there was no taste . The pizza tasted like microwave pizza. The meatballs were really strange mystery meat consistency and honestly tasted like they came from frozen.. The budino pudding wasn’t set. And they charge so much for this food. I used to live in Italy so I know Italian food very well. This was just gross. My opinion only. It is expensive there and not worth it anymore.

    Arrived early Sat at the bar (we were the only 2 people) and waited and waited for the bartender finally my date had to raise his voice to get his attention. We were seated in the back corner and waited again until the waiter, very much in a hurry, arrived and took our order without even a hello or good evening. It was my birthday and I included that on the reservation but it wasn’t acknowledged. I was embarrassed for my guest who came up from LA to celebrate my birthday. Olio Pizzeria has gone downhill and for $175. It was a waste.

    We sat outside in a lovely courtyard, next to the fountain. It was a lovely evening and perfect for dinning out of doors. The only negative was that our table was next to the back door of the kitchen of another restaurant. But that is no ones fault.

    Our server was very good and professional. The support staff was also good. everyone like their order and we spent a lot of time at the table and never felt rushed while they refilled water and brought take home boxes. No complaints.

    We enjoyed our pizza and our wine very much, however the place was not being run well. We had a reservation and it took more than 5 minutes for us to be noticed at the hostess podium. The bar had no one sitting at it, however it was stacked with used glasses and a slow moving bar tender. Once we were seated by the hostess, the wait staff saw us sit at our table and after 10 minutes we were finally greeted at our table. We ordered everything at once, not knowing when anyone would be back. Our wine arrived and was poured and that was the last time we saw our server/hostess who sat us until she brought the check. We noticed many people wandering around that worked there, but not really doing anything like clearing tables, or helping customers. There was one server running around like he had to do everything, but he was the only one we saw with any hustle. On the upside, the food was great. But this place needs some firm management.

    Good place for a sit down dinner of pizza and pasta. A good option if your down that way on State street, or if you want to get away from the beach for a bit, its a nice little trip up the road.
