Olio Pizzeria is a causal pizza bar/salumi bar/wine bar/full bar which was inspired by the myriad neighborhood pizzerie and enoteche (wine bars) found around the corner from just about every piazza in Italy. This idea began to take shape before Alberto and Elaine Morello even opened Olio e Limone Ristorante, their fine dining Italian restaurant next door. Wine bars serving boutique salumi and formaggi are all the rage in Italy, as is a regionalism which they are excited to share with you. Sicily is an emerging powerhouse, and touches of Sicilian food and wine delight their guests. You’ll also find exciting tastes from Campania and other emerging regions on their menus, wine and beer lists. Now open for takeout. Buon appetito!

It was hot sitting next to the pizza oven. Salad was a little too greasy for me. The Peroni beer was not a light beer that was tol me by the waiter. Overall the experience was good.
We had a wonderful time, and the food was amazing, as always!
Casual small space indoors, got noisy. Seems like they have outdoor seating in back but we weren’t offered that. Excellent pizza and calzone, nice wine and beer choices. Don’t confuse with the fine dining Olio and Limone next door!
Always great food. Hope they open for lunch for soon
The food was excellent and our server, Sawyer, made sure we were taken care of.
We had the Favorita salad, penne pesto with chicken and the pizza with fennel sausage and mushrooms. For dessert we had the vanilla gelato and cannolis! Absolutely delicious We will definitely come back and highly recommend to our friends and family
The food was disappointing. Service was good. Atmosphere was nice.
Our second dinner, local vacation in lieu of canceled Italian riviera (global pandemic). Ease, Grace, the food was delicious and the wine divine. Take a weekend. Go. Just for pizza.
We eat at Olio Pizzeria about once per month. There salads are spectacular and their pizzas delicious and varied. The service is always lovely.
The servers are always professional, friendly, and impeccable! The Italian cuisine is delicious, authentic, fresh, and constantly outstanding!
Great food. Great service. Great Manhattan.
The setting outside is very nice. It is quiet. The service was very good as was the food.
The food & service at Olio Pizzeria was beyond outstanding. The flavors & ambience reminded me of being in Italy. Truly a magnificent place to eat. Thank you!
I wish we caught our server's name - he was so attentive and efficient. We really appreciated it. There's a lovely variety of starters, salads, pizzas, pastas and mains to select from. We had the margherita pizza, two pastas, a salad and dessert. Each of us enjoyed our meals. This is the 2nd or third time we've eaten here and its been great each time. Thank you! We'll be back.
Always a great experience. Fantastic service and good food. Excellent bar drinks. Get the margarita pizza- so simple buy sooo good
One of our favorite SB restaurants. We really enjoy the ambiance of courtyard dining is wonderful, nicely spaced if you care about that (we do), and great food and wine. The Umbra pizza is by far our favorite pizza in Santa Barbara!
Our server was amazing! Pizza was delicious. Lots of vegetables and very fresh and tasty. Great ambience with table by fountain.
AMAZING food!! The pizza is delicious…. Tastes and looks like the pizza in Italy. YUMMY
Great food and service
Clearly understaffed - we felt bad for the one waiter but tried to be patient. Once we got the food, it was amazing! Would definitely eat here again, maybe during less busy times.
Pizza is as good as any place in Italy. Or NY.
Food was wonderful. Our server (Sawyer) was excellent. He had overseen several tables and made sure all were taken cared for. He wasn’t rattled at all and was very calm throughout! We really enjoyed our experience!
Food has gone downhill. Menu has changed significantly.
Pasta was DELICIOUS!
Sitting outside well spaced in a courtyard great food and service. Food was presented very well. Great overall dining experience
Juan is an exceptional server! He is clearly a great example of a positive outcome of Covid!
Absolutely delicious meal! The staff gave 100% on a very busy evening - impressive & well done!
Lovely setting, excellent food- fresh, flavorful, unique combinations.
Great wait staff.
We did not enjoy the food or drinks at this highly rated Pizzeria. I had ordered a glass of Valpolichella wine ( 10$) and it was oxidized and obviously from a bottle that had been opened a while back. We then asked for a glass of Brunello ( $ 19) and that was ok, the waiter made a comment that it would be a from a fresh bottle since it was more expensive! The salad came with salami even though we had requested a vegetarian version and the waiter had made a note of it in the order. Luckily they did bring the substitute salad right away. The pizza was under baked even though it was made in a wood burning stove with a lot of cheese and limp veggies.
I think the owners need to pay a little more attention to details, may be unable to since there are three restaurants they run right next to each other.
Service and food were perfect
One of my favorite restaurants anywhere!
Really good focaccia e formaggi. Umbra pizza delicious with lots of mushrooms, ample cheese and nice black truffle.
A bit noisy but it is a lively place.
Exceptional service and delicious food! Elaine has built an incredible enterprise! Kudos….
The food was delicious. We ordered a Caesar salad, burrata and prosciutto appetizer, the Parma pizza (no arugula, sub artichoke, add truffle oil), and butterscotch pudding. The service, though friendly and considerate, was a bit slow, however, and we noticed the tables around us wouldn’t be cleared for 30+ minutes after another party had left. This took away from the otherwise beautiful and romantic ambiance on the patio by the fountain. Overall, we would still come back.
The food was good and the service was awesome. We will definitely go back next time we’re in town.
Always great food and a nice place to eat.
The service was lousy. We must have sat there for 20+ minutes before anybody came to take our orders. I understand the staffing is an issue these days, but the place was mostly empty, so it was frustrating.
Good choice for Italian lovers. Solid comfort food. Good selection of pizzas and pastas. We booked the pizza entrance, but seems they also allow you to order from the front restaurant's Italian pasta menu as well. Sat on the back patio outside in a nice cozy courtyard. Good al fresco ambiance. Food was good, but service was very slow. Maybe 10 minutes between server visits. They were understaffed and over booked on this evening. Food arrived late, and drinks arrived after food. But 4 of us seated kept the conversation going. Would try again after the Covid dust settles some more.
Lovely Italian bistro with an incredible menu! The service and food is always terrific here. You can't go wrong!
Juan was an amazing server. He was very attentive and professional.
Great tasting and authentic Italian pizza! Will come again.
