The classic preparation
Whipped ricotta, white truffle oil, sea salt
Spaghetti Chitarra alla Carbonara
Prosciutto, black pepper, egg*, parmesan, chili oil
Very noisy ( thanks to subway under the restaurant)
Food, nothing Outstanding, but for the price you are expected much more.
I don’t recommend it at all, you have better options around
This was my first time here, and it really lived up to all the hype! Susana was our waitress and she was so great. All the food was amazing. Their portions are great, not too small and not too big. We got the buffalo mozzarella, grilled octopus, carbonara, squid ink pasta, and margherita pizza. Everything was really good! I had the carbonara and it measured up to the many carbonaras I had in Rome. I also got a glass of chianti and it was one of my favorite chiantis I’ve had. The restaurant was also decorated for Christmas and it was so pretty. I will definitely be back!!
Food is very good. Pasta portions could be bigger. The Ricotta Bruschetta was amazing. Noise level is high but makes it kind of fun.
Excellent food, excellent customer experience.
The truffle pasta was the highlight! Our server, Gabriel, made our experience amazing. Be prepared to sit somewhat outside- most of the seating that is fully indoors is for large parties. A little chilly but the truffles made it worth it!
It was a very nice place to bring a spicy Latina.
Delicious with good service
Good food, waitress Isabella was great! Hope to return!
Incredible food and service. The staff was on top of everything. Loved out experience.
Delicious and authentic Italian food. Waitress was so nice.
Booked ahead & online for an indoor table at 8.30 pm for husband’s 50th/Thanksgiving with this info.
Dressed for dinner, arrived a little early-great to see full restaurant, good atmosphere & nice decorations for holiday season.
Friendly, welcoming staff met us, wished my husband happy birthday & found our booking on system immediately-but queried if they had space for us!?
Taken to our table-back out of the actual restaurant, across pavement & into plyboard/Perspex shelter at roadside-literally on the junction. Background music playing, & sounds of other diners chatting etc, was drowned out almost constantly by traffic roaring by, waiting staff & other diners letting the shelter door slam shut repeatedly as they came in & out. The whole place juddered & shook when subway train thundered through, several times, right beneath us.
Table was tiny my husband’s was right next to the slamming door, & beneath a heater which added to his general discomfort.
We considered asking to move to a table that was actually indoors (not just undercover), as we requested, but it was clear this could not be accommodated due to how full the restaurant was.
They’d run out of all bottled water for table (ok, not a deal breaker), then a waiter just dumped a side plate of a slice of bread & 6 olives on table, but our drinks arrived promptly.
We went right to a main course-traditional Thanksgiving turkey & all trimmings, which at $48 (£37) each was vastly overpriced. Vegetables=one Brussels sprout cut in two, a baby carrot, 5 green beans & dollop of mashed potato. Spoonful of stuffing & cranberry jelly (not compote) from a jar, with 3 slices of average turkey.
We ate, then paid, reluctantly left minimum tip & were back at our hotel within an hour of sitting down to eat (incl. mile walk back to hotel!) Overall v.poor & spoiled the end of an otherwise brilliant birthday. Would not return or recommend.
Our favorite Italian in NYC. Highly recommend carbonara, ragu, ribeye, fritto misto
Went for Thanksgiving dinner because I was one of the only restaurants open and we wanted Italian food but it was so overpriced for like the smallest portions I won hundred percent do not recommend and the service is poor we were basically ignored by our waiter until the very end when he’s tried talking to us because he wanted to tip obviously.
It was such a beautiful place!!! But the food, OMG it was DELICICOUS! Carbonara pasta was the best!!!!!! We loved it 🖤🖤✨
It’s beautiful and serenee
ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL ATMOSPHERE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE DIAVOLO PIZZA, BOLOGNESE, AND SPAGHETTI. THE BREAD AND BUTTER IS AMAZING AS WELL. MAKE RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE.
Great food. Carbonara and bolognese were amazing
Was super early for a reservation. They accommodated us immediately. Lively ambiance and delicious food. Tables are tightly packed together which enhances the ambiance of the restaurant. Attentive staff - were on top of the fact that our pizzas took a while to come out. Shared a house salad and had the vegetarian pizza fir me. Parma ham mozzarella pizza for the hubby. Soft crust and delish. A few large tables (10+) that would make it a top choice for larger groups. Highly recommend
We were visiting the city and made sure to stop here for lunch before traveling back home! The food was so good, just like we expected. I got the carbonara, SOOO GOOD!! And my boyfriend got the fusilli with braised beef, which was also amazing. The drinks were good but a little pricey. Overall a really great meal. The Christmas decorations and ambiance are very cute. My only complaint is tables are essentially on top of each other; it felt like we were on top of both parties next to us and could hear both conversations as if they were our own.
Eclectic menu, French centric ingredients. Delicious for brunch.
Food was spectacular! Excellent service and gorgeous space!
The carbonara pasta and prosciutto pizza were so good!
Great food, service, and ambiance. Fettuccine Tartufo and the Carbonara pasta are the stars.
My friend and I had dinner at Olio e Piú last night and it was terrific. Food was excellent and the waitstaff welcoming and attentive. Will definitely be back!
We loved it!! And recommended to friends
Service was extremely poor. They even forgot to give us bread. The server was not pleasant at all. Everything wad fine except the service.
Loved this restaurant! The bread and olives were delish to start. We all loved our pasta dishes. A little pricy but overall a great experience.
Date night with my husband. We sat at the bar. The drinks were AMAZING. Food was delicious. Very cozy ambience. Highly recommend
The waiter kept rushing by but everything else was okay.
Waiters were very attentive, the food was excellent
Slow service but very delicious food
Everything was incredible and can't wait to go back.
The food was great, but it took a little while for it to come out which is most likely due to the large crowd as it was very busy. Overall, very satisfied with the experience, will definitely recommend.
The food was incredible and our waiter was very attentive. The vibe in the restaurant was super unique and fun - will definitely be going back!
Great ambiance, delicious and authentic Italian food, cool location and decor, great service! We loved it!
Love everything about this place. Definitely coming back!
Had brunch with a friend and we had a lovely time! The restaurant was lively and has a fun vibe. The pasta and pizza were delicious! I will be back and would recommend
Great service and food was delicious!! Also enjoyed the ambiance.
The place is phenomenal. My wife and I have been to Italy and dined at many Italian places. This place is phenomenal. Ask for Clara as your waitress. It was our first visit and she made us feel like regulars. She had great wine and food suggestions and made the visit a 6 star rating out of 5. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed eating at our own pace even thought the place was packed, we were not rushed. We ate at Italy pace! I highly recommend this place to anyone!!!!
