   Food was good and so was the ambience. However the service was very bad. It took over 25 minutes for someone to just come over to us. The server seemed uninterested to be serving. I saw someone with pasta that was not on the menu. When we ordered I asked the server if there was any specials. He told me no. I then had to ask what that pasta was the girl next to me was eating. He told us, it was a truffle pasta. My party all ordered it and he asked us four time if the price was okay which I found insulting since we all said yes the first time. He could have just been making sure but once was fine. I found it very strange the server did not tell us the special pasta. Especially because it was more expensive then all the othet pastas on the menu. Not sure if there was any other specials since the sever neglected to tell me about them at all. I would not come back here and patronize this restaurant due to the lack of service and care. There was so many servers walking around yet we waited almost 30 minutes just for water and for someone to come over. I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant especially beacuse the food is good but it is not worth the money since the experience is not good in any way compared to the food.

   Had a great time at the restaurant. We loved the design and the vibe was wonderful. Food was delicious, we had the lunch pre fix menu and was pleasantly surprised, everything we had was spot on. Service was attentive. All in all - highly recommended!

   I generally love going to Olio e Piu, but this time, the service was off. I checked in 6 minutes early for my 9:30 PM reservation. The check-in person was helping set up another table. When I did get to check in, the lady had us, a party of five, stand to the side of the bar. The restaurant was packed, so it was hard to talk. It was noisy, with the wait staff squeezing past us hurriedly. I guess we were lucky we got a table. We were seated 20 minutes later with no apology, and nobody talked to us from the restaurant. It impacted the feeling and atmosphere from the beginning. The pastas were delicious but at some point, after the water and bread, our server had to race to another table to assist. We ordered around 10:15 PM. The food was wonderful and the pasta was exquisite. But, he checked on us, just one time. Then, he came at the end and we decided we did nnt want dessert which we always have the special and the tiramisu. I think it was just a bad night for the service.

   Not quite as enjoyable as usual. Perhaps too busy for graduation. Wanted out table back 3 seconds after paying! Desserts disappointing. Appetisers and pasta wonderful. Steak average - a bit fatty. Usually my top NY restaurant so hopefully a blip
