Olio e Più
Enjoy fresh, house-made pastas dressed with the highest quality ingredients, like whole Branzino and Steak Fiorentina and a hand-selected collection of excellent wines and cocktails to pair with your dish. An expertly crafted wood-fire oven crackles and glows, cooking house-made dough into perfect, crisp Neapolitan-style pizza while creating an inviting atmosphere.
An experience at Olio e Piú is one to remember.
Food was outstanding. Setting and ambiance was quaintly European. Service could be described as “annoyed French”. Pet peeve is servers coming to the table with the dishes and have no clue who ordered what, and we have to stop everything and reshuffle/direct traffic. Second pet peeve, is the wait staff removing dirty silverware from an appetizer, or otherwise already used, plate and putting them directly on the table. You can’t bring a new knife to a table when we spent $100 a person for dinner?
Again, definitely a keeper of a place, but the wait staff needs some training.
The restaurant is cute and the people working there were very nice. But that's it. The food was mediocre to horrible. Our apps and my friend's entree were bland and meh, and my gluten free pizza was absolutely awful. I can't even describe the "crust" except flavorless sponge? So, I tried to just eat the toppings. So gross. How can sausage have no flavor? It was mindblowing how bad it was. And the service (although the people were nice) was so lame that my friend and I joked that maybe there was an invisibility cloak on us without us realizing.
But if the food was great, we would have overlooked that.
When the server came to clear our table and saw that my huge pizza had barely been touched, he said nothing. That's when I was "done" with this place. We paid close to $200 that night and I had 4 bites of a beet salad and a bad glass of wine.
Never, ever again.
Love the decor and design.... we had Bruchetta, which was different and a Mozzarella.... main course of spaghetti pomodoro, was good, but plain... I had the black squid spaghetti with seafood in a red sauce, which was very good, however, portions are very small, so we needed more bread to satisfy.....
Wine list simple, but very nice. We were asked to return at Christmas time to enjoy their decorations, as the chef promised they are beautiful. We will return.
The service and food were great. The noise level was over the top, though.
But once a table hosting an overly noisy and drunken birthday party left, peace and culinary delight were restored.
Best Carbonara ever! Excellent martini. Great wine list. Recommend the French pinot noir.
Had a great dinner here celebrating my anniversary. The service was excellent, and the food was awesome. I will most definitely be coming back.
Our waitress Suzana was absolutely lovely! She was actually our waitress last time I went with another friend of mine. I showed her a picture an she instantly knew remembered who we were and even what we ordered. The staff overall was super attentive. The food of course was amazing and I can’t wait to go back and bring more friends. There’s a warmth to the atmosphere that makes it a great location for dinner with friends or a romantic partner. Lastly, their moscato is really nice and this is coming from someone who is super picky when it comes to alcohol!
Absolutely fantastic meal and experience. Andrea was one of the most attentive waiters ever. Charming restaurant that we will definitely visit again on our next visit to NUC.
Pasta was great. Unfortunately we can't say the same for the other dishes. Appetizers and steak were so heavily spiced, it overwhelmed all other flavors. Steak and octopus were charred to the point that carbon often came through the spice. Portions were pretty small, especially the steak. The potatoes that came with the steak were the bright spot but, again, very small portion. Wished we had gone to Rafele instead.
Business colleagues were meeting and I booked this restaurant based on reviews I had read. Our experience was very similar to others. Food was excellent and service was exceptional. Will definitely come again
Charming restaurant. Tables are VERY close to each other so conversations are not private. Pasta is excellent and portions are perfect.
Good food and service but way too loud.
It was an amazing experience! The food absolutely delicious! And the service extremely nice! Our waiter is called Victoria and was a pleasure having her serve us, so friendly, polite and attentive!
The vibe of the place was great. It was a cold day in NYC but sunny, so we got to sit outside. Food was okay but definitely not worth the $$$. Good service, great ambiance, just overpriced for the quality.
Always enjoy my visits to this restaurant
Great traditional Italian and has a great atmosphere. Starters amazing (burrata and Palma ham) Pasta better then pizza for main course but all good. Good wine. Would certainly return
Delicious food - outstanding pasta, really amazing fig / smoked mozarella / balsamic appetizer. The restaurant is very high-energy and space is at a premium, so reserve accordingly!
We went to Olio e Piu on our honeymoon to NYC and it was our absolute favorite restaurant! We're foodies, and we ate our way through the whole city, so when we say that, we mean something by it. We both got the spaghetti carbonara, shared a vegetable appetizer, had the tiramisu, and took a pizza to go. Honestly. We're fans. The spaghetti carbonara was life changing and is honestly causing problems in my life because I'm back home now and can't stop thinking about it. Definitely go on a date here. The ambiance, warmth, and fun, noisy atmosphere is just so great. We had such a wonderful time. Cheers!
Pricy and very noisy. We have had better carbonara pasta made with real panceta. Please do never make a Bruscheta without fresh tomato . And if you offer a bruschetta please do toast the bread.
Never disappointed. Food is amazing and the ambiance is fantastic
Amazing food lovely place. Easy to find and very helpful staff.
The server was helpful, cheerful and took our order swiftly.
I made a reservation at 6:30 but arrived at 7pm. The restaurant was kind enough to have my table ready upon my arrival.
The place was very busy-because the food was very good. Very authentic northern Italian. We ordered black truffle fettuccini and brurrata pizza. Deep fried frittomisto and three color salad. Everything tasted great!
We will come back soon...
Amazing pizza and pasta!!!! Delicious
It was a lovely place to have a birthday dinner, with the waitress extremely kind and willing to accommodate. We enjoyed our meal and especially loved the birthday surprise dessert!
Great spit cant wait to come back
Fabulous! What a treat to eat here. Don’t miss it!!
Great restaurant with amazing food. Great recommendations from the server!
Cute little spot but it always struggles with slow service.
We reserved for a birthday there was no acknowledgement
It was quite loud and the bruschetta was a little salty, but everything else was delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful.
This place was amazing! The Spaghetti Neri Alla Sarda was out of this world. And the dessert was incredible! Ask for server Suzana...she was the best!
Our dinner was good overall but not worth a second visit. The atmosphere was relaxing and our server was very informative about the menu. However, she hounded us to give the restaurant a good review and to mention her as well. If we did, she would take our two glasses of wine off the list. Our tiramisu was very dry and gave it an unwelcoming texture.
Too loud and noisy - food was good, but not excellent - tiny tables, no privacy - overall too pricy, but food was ok

Although I live in the neighborhood, this was the first time I was at Olio. We will be back. Everyone loved their pasta selections. Inside as elegant as most uptown restaurants. Old fashioned elegance.
Venue needs a renovation - and the chairs need reupholstering. Cauliflower app was undercooked. Service was proficient. Prices are too high for the good but not in any way exceptional food and experience.
The food was good we order meatballs, pasta carbonara and tagliatelle Bolognese, the meatballs was ok nothing remarkable, the tagliatelle pasta my favorite so far, the service was not my best experience my server was never around I have to wave him trying to catch any server attention to order more water, and this like broke my mood so I didn’t have time for dessert!
Oio e Piu was an extremely enjoyable surprise. The food was wonderful. The best tagliatelle and truffles I've had since Italy. The service was attentive and upbeat. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
The food is good, but it’s very expensive for incredibly small portions. I think our pasta dish had only about 1 cup of pasta total!
When we googled best spaghetti carbonara in Manhattan Olio e pìu came up and it was outstanding. Great wait staff, attentive and courteous. Homemade noodles, nice presentation, among my most favorite versions of carbonara. Caesar salad very tasty.
Not my favorite food experience ! When I go dinner I want to be charmed by every little details. I prefer a smaller restaurant where you feel special to be here as a client. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t worth it. I will not return.
