I love the food and service here. Everyone is very nice and the quality is amazing.
Amazing food and service. Will def be back
Multiple people recommended olio e piu to us for a weekend trip to New York and it was incredible!!
Went there for a Valentine's Day dinner with friends after it was recommended to me multiple times, I was not disappointed. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fantastic. The service was great, our waitress was super nice and energetic. Had a blast!
Fantastic service. Great wine offerings. And yummy Italian food. Not expensive at all.
Delicious food and great ambiance. If you are ever in the mood for Italian, you can’t go wrong with this spot !
Booked this restaurant from the Uk via Open Table after reading reviews via Trip Advisor and it was excellent. Great place to visit, great friendly welcome on arrival, great service an great food food. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Excellent and well done to all the staff, thanks for such a great night.
My girlfriend and I dined at Olio e Piú for our Valentine’s Day dinner. We are picky eaters (especially when it comes to pasta) and came all the way from the Bay, California after I made reservations to this restaurant exactly 1 full month prior to the date.
The ambiance of the restaurant is very romantic— classy but also social. It’s dimly lit but not too dark. The tables are a bit close to each other, but not uncomfortable.
The service was excellent. I immediately noticed that even the busser was never a minute too late with refilling our water. Our server was incredibly attentive and quickly responded to all our requests. Our wine and food fairly quickly.
Now for the food. For drinks, my girlfriend ordered the moscato by the glass, which was excellent paired with our
Great ambiance - not great food. Pizza was chewy, I didn't care for my cocktail. Linguine was OK - nothing to write home about.
The restaurant had a lovely ambience. Unfortunately, I was not feeling well, so we decided to leave. The staff were so kind and understanding. We will make it a point to come to this restaurant the next time we are in New York. Everyone dining seemed to be enjoying themselves. Thank you for your understanding and kindness.
Visited on Sunday Feb 9th for lunch. Four in our party were impressed with every aspect of Olio e Piu. Truly a "neighborhood gem" (a term used much too often) and not always deserved. The vibe is something very special with happy people enjoying very well prepared and served Tuscan favorites. Service is spot on and over the top. Our various pasta entrees were all prepared al dente and each sauce was distinctive and fresh. The space is beautiful, funky and fun. The food is serious, very serious.
We will be back and more than likely become regulars.
Olio is a favorite spot for my daughter, a New Yorker, to take me when I come visit. We LOVE it every time! The food is fabuloso and appropriate in portions. Every pasta is exquisite. It's pretty tight, even as NY restaurants go, but we squeeze in as this is a place not to be missed :)
The place had great ambience and we were at first pleasantly surprised by the good food choices. However, the waiter (who went by Julian) gave us a lot of attitude from beginning to end. Overall experience wasn’t the best, but a shame because we actually enjoyed the food.
good, but not amazing. the only thing worth the price was the pizza and pasta, not the appetizers
Servers were a bit rude and disrespectful. Food was bland.
Delicious pasta, perfectly cooked as always!
Ambiance is also great. Highly recommend!
Very little/nothing to complain about! Absolutely great!
Unfortunately not a good experience, service seemed rushed and disjointed despite it not being busy.. Twice I was served dishes without cutlery and before I was ready, making me feel like they were in a rush to get me out... Tables are so close together making it very uncomfortable
Easily one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Food was spectacular, I’ll never be able to eat a scallop again because theirs was beyond delicious. Service - perfection. Highly highly recommend.
When the waitress, Victoria, came to take our beverage order, we could not get a soda because the soda gun was broken. Other than wine, or the mineral water that we ordered, there were no alternatives, so someone in our party ran across the street to buy herself a coke to have with her dinner. When she came back with the small glass bottle of Coke, the manager, Chantal, appeared and said we were not permitted to bring outside drinks in. Then she claimed that she would get a Coke for us from their “sister restaurant”. Ten minutes later the Coke had not arrived. Our waitress SAVED the meal by coming over with a tumbler full of ice and a bottle opener, saying “I may lose my job for this, but I’m not going to make you wait any longer.” At the END of the meal, Chantal finally appeared again saying she was sorry there was no Coke. There was NOTHING comped on our final bill, and no offer of coffee or dessert. I’m not sure who the owner of this restaurant is, but he/she needs a new manager who understands the service industry. A Sunday dinner that should have been relaxing, was unnecessarily stressful.
The linguine alla vongole is BEST pasta I have ever had!
Rainy afternoon in NYC and this was a great place to grab a long lunch, food was good. The server was good except he didn’t give us dessert menu till we asked and didn’t ask if we wanted more wine. But I would recommend it and go back. It was noisy because there were several large parties there.
Great food. Limited brunch menu but you can order from the lunch one.
Susana was amazing! Made sure that everything came out okay and provided great recommendations!
The pizza altho ordered well done. The crust was perfect but the tomato sauce was like waterThin and runny
Great food and vibe. A little cramped depending on where you’re sitting. I had to slide into my seat awkwardly (and I’m a relatively small human). Feeling the subway shake the building periodically is oddly charming. Overall a good place and I’d go again.
This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with an open comfortable layout. We loved the food and the service which was warm and friendly. The standout dish is the Spaghetti Chitarra alla Carbonara with the Tagliatelle Bolognese a close second. We were in New York for only one week but found ourselves dining there 3 times which says it all.
Food was mediocre and sound level deafening. I am used to tables being on top of each other but this was awful! I do not plan on returning .
Great service and food!
Loved this place - for a Monday eve it was packed and the food was outstanding !
Extremely cozy, warm trattoria. Friendly, attentive service.
I'd have to rank this as the best Italian restaurant in NYC. That says it all in a nutshell.
We have been to Olio e Più a number of times and it never disappoints! When I'm craving a true Italian pizza, this is where I get it.
Fantastic meal, great wine and dessert!
Lovely atmosphere and delicious food and wine. Do yourself a favor and get the Carbonara. Haven’t had one that delicious since visiting Rome.
This was my second experience at Olio e Piu as a visitor to NYC. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with excellent service. I personally feel the pasta dishes and salads are exceptional (even though a menu change, from my previous visit, was disappointing)! I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.
Delicious food, cozy ambiance, and good service!
This place is truly good for everything. The service was amazing, food was delicious. Great wine selection. I’d go 100 more times this year if I could
Excellent food, great service. Nice little restaurant.
