Wonderful food, excellent service!
Olio e Limone is a wonderful Italian restaurant. The food was awesome and the service was great. I look forward to many meals there, working my way through the menu. A bit noisy and a bit expensive but thoroughly enjoyable.
We were fortunate enough to be able to get a last minute reservation and our group of nine were all impressed. We loved the food and the service. The minestrone soup was amazing, filled with heaps of fresh veggies, very fresh. The gnocchi was delicious. Everyone loved every single thing we ordered. We would all highly recommend this restaurant!
Everything was wonderful. We had warm seafood salad to start. Husband had the pasta special, and I had the carbonara. Canolli for dessert. French Kiss cocktail was great, as was the Vermentino wine.
The food was just....ok. The service was very slow and we actually had to ask for the waiter to come to our table to give us the cheque. He had disappeared for about 20mins after our dessert and coffee. He simply wasn’t around. I wouldn’t go back unfortunately.
We’ve been going to Olio for 15 years. The staff couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating. The food is fantastic. It’s sandwiched between their pizza place and a sashimi bar called Crudo. The pizza is a 10 and the sashimi is so great as are the drinks at Crudo.
Delicious, Authentic Italian Cuisine with lovely service! A cut above the nearby Italian restaurants with tremendous choices and a ever so slightly upscale service. Great for pre-event
dining, very accommodating without being rushed. The eggplant melanzanie starter is amazing!
Great dinner. Mother’s Day. The usual food, ambience and service were there again
Brought my wife here for Mother's Day, right off the bat the Hostess was rude and hostile about where we could sit. The Restaurant has two dining rooms, one good, the other bad. When she was walking us to the bad room we asked her if we could sit in the good one. She said no. We asked why since the room was only half full. They were reserved. Well we had reservations. But not for that room. No signs were on the table saying reserved, either. 90 minutes later when we were done (the food was not good, the waiter was fine), many of the tables that were empty in the good room when we arrived were still empty. So the hostess lied. We will never be back.
Sat in the back room. Slow service.
Reservation for our party of 4 was thoughtfully confirmed via phone. Table was ready at our chosen time. Staff is always professional, knowledgeable and there when you need them. Food selection and preparation is always a step above other local restaurants in the same "class". Enough variety to suit any palate. Never a surprise, always enjoy the experience.
Extremely enjoyable. Food was excellent. Fine service.
Food was very SALTY & saucy. Typical American Italian restaurant with a pricy tag. Could have gotten better from Olive Garden.
Excellent, as always! The perfect example of high quality ingredients prepared simply making a great meal.
Our family loves this place; everyone from our pre-teen through the grandparents! The short ribs, and Oso Buco are the favorite. The pasta is outstanding!
Food and experience were both amazing, we felt, for the most part like we were back in Italy. The duck porchini ravioli, as well as the spinach and sausage ravioli were both amazing and I would highly recommend them if they are still on the menu.
Italian waiters make everything sound delicious and it is!!
We loved our meal! My fiance and I had some delicious cocktails (he's still raving about them and trying to recreate them on his own) and the pasta was amazing. Portion size was good, and very good quality. We also had tiramisu for dessert, which I'd highly recommend. Overall, wonderful experience!
We had told our out-of-town friends about how excellent Olio is, and we weren’t disappointed. We all enjoyed our time together and our dinner. Our waiter was very special, and added much to our experience.
As always the food and service were great
Wonderful attentive service, great food and we were not rushed!
Olio e Limone is always a wonderful dining experience. The food and wine are excellent.
The risotto was waaaaaay too salty and the anchovy salad was waaaaaay too expensive ...the waiter rocked the house, he was awesome! But the food?...it’s gone down hill and it’s overpriced
I’ve always enjoyed this charming Italian spot when visiting Santa Barbara for university events. The food is consistently pleasing. This time we had a nice cream free asparagus soup, filet of sole and ravioli, and sipped some fruity Italian white wine. My only criticism is the hostess was unfriendly and seemed bothered to accommodate us with a table we wanted and many of the chairs had torn upholstery and my menu was dirty with food particles stuck to the page. It’s important for an eatery at this price point to maintain furniture and keep everything clean and to train the staff to be very professional - a priority at good Italian restaurants in San Francisco.
Risotto Al Nero Di Seppia , mostly squid, sauce was watery, and not flavorful. disappointed with this selection and definitely would not recommend it.
Dining experience was lovely, unfortunately meal was not.
Great experience great service Gazielle Provided outstanding service and accommodations. Excellent suggestions and food was outstanding
Beautiful and attentive service. Delicious food. We especially enjoyed the fish soup appetizer -- broth was wonderful! I enjoyed the barrel-aged manhattan and a glass of Brunello wine. Everything was done well.
This has been one of our favorite restaurants when we visit Santa Barbara. It is consistently delicious and the service is very good. We recommend it to all our friends and family and all that have followed our advice have become fans.
Fantastic food, great wine selection, excellent service.
lovely as always - great food!! good service, the pastas are all homemade!
A bit quiet and awkward when we first got there. But then the place filled up and it was nice. The bread and olive oil was amazing. I didn’t care for my meal so much but my husband and son’s meals were fantastic. Their desserts were fantastic as well. Great service and location.
Another great meal from Olio e Limone the food was excellent
The problem with the evening was sort of our own making, as we chose a table in the backroom, which had been opened due to business.
It really was not very attractive and the waitperson for the room was not around for about 15 minutes.
Had we chosen a table in the front, I have no doubt that the evening would have been a better experience.
Can’t beat the food there, though.
Fist time at this establishment and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was very cozy not overly noisy and well decorated.
The reservation was made at 06:30pm and we sat right down at our table. The waiter was at our table within 2minutes and was extremely friendly. The menu was extensive but not overboard and had a great variety of dish's.
The Salmon was a special that night and it was delicious! Everyone was happy with their food for the evening.
Had friends in town. We usually choose a different restaurant every time they visit. After our Dinning experience, they only want to go there for now on . They loved it that much! The service, the menu, the ambiance and personal attention , makes for a perfect evening.
We also love their Pizzeria next store! Same great service, food and charm. It’s delicious’!
We have eaten there for many years, and have always had good food. Easter Sunday this year was quiet, and one of the best meals ever. I can't wait to go back.
Overrated on yelp! All four entrees- pasta, chicken, pork too too too Salty!!!
Never going back. Pasta undercooked aldente taken to the tenth!!! Pricey for mediocre food!!!
Chef is from Sicily. Great variety. Several fresh fish plates, lots of pasta. Tasty authentic. Best wait staff in town. Comfortable and classy. Top wine list.
Excellent atmosphere and great food. Highly recommend it.
