Excellent restaurant and that staff and owner made it a great dining experience. Have been there before and will go back again.
Few time we have been to this restaurant, and we went with high expectations - which were exceeded on all fronts. Food - could not have been better. Wine list - excellent. Service - first class. Ambience - great atmosphere. Nothing else to say really.
Two orders of baby ribs were too salty. Filet was overcooked. Spaghetti with white clam sauce had no flavor. Scallops were excellent but for five medium at $37.00 they certainly should be. The waiter was pleasant and very attentive.
Went there for Mother’s Day- an early dinner. Food was good, restaurant is beautiful and service was good. Nice place off the Ave!
Kale salad was just that- a bowl of kale. Ordered the duck- very dry. Service ok but the server was not friendly.
From the lovely atmosphere to the delicious food and excellent attentive service - we had great family celebration
Very slow service and food took too long to be served.
Loved the food and service. Unfortunately, the restaurant is located in close proximity to railroad and trains sped by frequently during the meal. We were eating outside and the train noise was annoying. Otherwise, quite enjoyable.
Outstanding food and service, best restaurant downtown !
Great spot, cool vibes. The menu has a nice selection, and the overall ambiance makes it a great spot to take a date, a friend, or anyone really.
Rigatoni Bolognese was awesome. Throw in a couple of meatballs, you won’t regret it.
The drinks, food and service were outstanding as usual! This is a favorite dinner house for us everytime we visit the Delray Beach...
Waitress was nice & friendly food out of the kitchen was very slow. It was VERY noisy as in you couldn’t hear your guests at the table. Food was tasty cocktails were not made per the menu. Beautiful restaurant but would not be in my top 10 for Delray.
Dinner took way too long! It was so noisy and the service was slow. It took an hour and s half to get our main meal. I have been there many times and I was very disappointed tonight
Perfect spot for a large party! Great food and service!!
Great location in Delray, there is variety of outdoor seating as well as the indoor/outdoor bar. The menu has something for everyone and the food was outstanding. Great service!
Food was good but huge pasta dishes in order to justify way too high prices . Place was mostly empty on a Thursday night in high season yet the service was incredibly slow . Large wine list but again unreasonably high prices. Not good value for the money overall.
Probably won’t go back. It’s soooooo expensive! Our server was super nice but kinda forgetful. We would go back to sit outside at the bar and have a drink, but never again for dinner.
We always have a good meal here. Friendly neighborhood restaurant
Fantastic food. Awesome ambiance - bar area, inside dining and outside. Absolutely will be back. Only downside was I thought drinks were a little pricy ($15 for a vodka tonic).
I have not experienced an establishment to run out of tea decaf espresso and merlot in the same nite. How can this gappeb
Last night we had one of our worst dining experiences ever. We were seated on the terrace on a beautiful night when two loud drunk customers began shouting at us and the table next to us. No one from the restaurant did anything. We had to ask to be moved inside and the drunk patrons began screaming at us and calling us liberals and Jews and said they would see us in line at Auschwitz. The restaurant did nothing. As they were leaving the drunks came inside to scream at us. The people from the other table came inside, too, but were hidden in the wine room. No one called the police or did anything to alleviate the situation. I will never go to Olio again. If they want this kind of establishment, they can have it. Oh, and they were out of decaf coffee......
Excellent experience. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal
Service wasn’t so good. Think they were overwhelmed because of St Patrick’s day. There was only on waitress for all the outside tables. Food made up for the not so good service. At the end had to go myself to look for the waitress and give her my payment. Don’t think we’ll be back.
The food was excellent. Olio is a block off of Atlantic Ave which keeps the noise level down but still a great location. Our waiter was not the most attentive. Will definitely book again and assume our waiter was having a difficult night.
Food was surprisingly bad. Dried out mussels and clams. Uninspired sauces. A shame because brick-faced walls and atmosphere is lovely and service was nice.
Basically good service. Good pace of deliveries.
Salad a little ordinary.
Appetizer very good. Duck was excellent.
Good portion of spaghetti and meatballs
The restaurant is very nice. The hostess and server were very nice. The drinks were a bit pricey. The food was good but not remarkable. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but probably won’t make it one of our “go to” places.
Food was just okay. Wait service was also just ok but the bar service was awful! Ordered a prickly pear cactus margarita and it came out without any prickly pear syrup. I told the waitress who said that it was made correctly. I took a sip and it was dreadful! About 2 minutes later the waitress came back with a shot glass full of prickly pear syrup apologizing because the bartender indeed had made it wrong. I refused and asked that it be sent back instead of me trying to mix it myself. I asked if this time they could make it frozen, to which she said they didn’t have any blenders to make frozen drinks. Seriously!! They offer a number of different margaritas and they can’t make them frozen?? I just said cancel the drink then. No apology, nothing.
Food was just ok . Expensive for a meal that’s just ok!!!
We have eaten at Olio a few times and usually the food is pretty good. We recently brought a party of 13 people and had a bad experience, we were not rushing back.... we figured we would give it another shot with just 3 of us tonight.
They were not busy so we expected a good/fast experience. The service was beyond slow- we waited 30 mins for bread, my moms pasta was mush- and after 15 mins when the server finally came to see how we liked it, my mom mentioned how she asked for al-dente pasta and it was overcooked. The server said- sorry, i told them al-dente. How about offering to fix it!?
And the kicker....they allowed an entire table to chain smoke right next to us (and about 8 other tables) right next to the entrance of the restaraunt. Let's just say our experience (and all the other patrons) experience was ruined.
I can't believe they allowed a full table of smokers in an establishment with the amount of tables eating outside? I thought this was a restaurant- not a dive bar!
We asked for the check as I told server, we could NOT take the smell of cigarettes and the server said- do you want to move tables?
How about you move the smokers to the street! Bad service, long waits, smoke, overcooked pasta... SAD TO SAY- BUT WE WONT BE COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE. Sucks- because especially in season it's nice to eat "off the ave". Here's a tip- remember that you are in the service industry. If you dont like it- find a new career.
Out service was so horrible - every appetizer came out at a different time . Our dinner took almost 2 hours
We ordered wine - they did not have it , he gave us another year that was 20 more on bill ... took care of it but just a horrible experience
Impossibly noisy. We asked to move outside and they wouldn't let us. Would never go again although food was great. If you have noise canceling ear phones, wear them
We've been going to Olio's for years. Always have enjoyed the food and service and normally we sit outside or at the bar. This time it was a party of 10 and we were seated inside... The noise level is extremely high...
The service was outstanding and the food was equally as good. We will be going back to Olio
Food was mediocre and service was not good . And the restaurant was mostly empty
This is truly an amazing place! Every plate we have was better than the next. Service was exceptional and the atmosphere was electric. A must!
Good food! Nice place!
The food was amazing! Loved the Shrimp papardelle, Burrata salad and the NY Strip amazing and the pistachio cheese cake
