O’Learys Seafood Restaurant is arguably the best fresh-fish seafood restaurant in the region, and without a doubt the best seafood restaurant in Annapolis. Located off of Spa Creek facing Historic Annapolis and the U.S. Naval Academy, in the historic Eastport section of Annapolis, O’Learys is an intimate haunt that offers seafood cuisine that is strictly nouveau/fresh, along with “the best small wine list in Annapolis”!

Upside was the tuna/crab tartar appetizer. Lobster/risotto special was delicious but size of lobster was not impressive. Salt shaker was empty

The food was disappointing. The crab bisque had little crab or crab flavor and tasted like a creamy stick of butter.
The snapper was coated with something before it was pan seared so it tasted more like “fried” fish. The vegetables were fresh and the crab cakes were very good but not the best ever as promoted.

This was our first time dining at O’Leary’s and I have to seat this was some of the best seafood I have eaten in this area. We will be coming back again.

The customer service was fantastic!!!!! The food was great!!! The bartender was super friendly. Our server, Dimitri was excellent!!!! Will definitely be a monthly date for my wife and I!

The food and service were especially fantastic! Our only small complaint was the noise level. Have never felt that way during other visits. Perhaps it was where we were seated. Menu was so creative and fresh! Will definitely be back!

Service was terrific and we have been many times before with exceptional food. Prior to describing my dinner, my husbands crab cakes were very good. I ordered the crispy fried rockfish. I should have asked for a detailed explanation as I was expecting a nice fillet, fried with a crispy exterior and soft moist interior. I received, and the best analogy I can think of, is McDonald chicken nuggets. They were heavily breaded, fried, not very warm, and soft, not crispy. The meat was very gamey / fishy tasting. They were warm to cold. I would assume they were frozen and baked on a cookie sheet. The server did provide a free desert, but for a 30-some dollar entree, I would expect better, especially from OLearys.

I had the seared salmon. It was one of the most tasty dishes I remember ever having had. We started the meal with crispy fried calamari, outstanding. My wife had diver scolloops which she said were delicious. We were too full to have desert so we bought Chocolate banana bread putting which have had before and like. The waitress was very helpful. I would rate the meal 12 on a scale 1 to 10.

My girlfriend and I went for an early Valentine’s Day dinner for both of our first times here. We were blown away! Beautiful artwork, great atmosphere, incredibly polite staff, and amazing food. We arrived 15 minutes early from the reservation while they were fairly busy; the host himself went and bussed our table immediately while we briefly waited at the bar. Within seconds of waiting the bartender already asked if we wanted drinks and ensured we were taken care of. Once seated, the waitress came by with waters and bread, elegantly described the day’s specials, and took our orders. We ate the crab bisque, diver’s scallops, salmon, crab cakes, and a chocolate dessert, all of which were incredible with the wine our waitress recommended. Overall, the staff and ambiance was excellent, and the food was incredible, if a bit expensive, though the quality was impeccable.

Delicious cozy restaurant. Celebrating an early Valentines dinner and craving seafood. We chose O’Learys. Also, it has been on my hit list for restaurants to try when we’re alone. We shared the grilled oysters, which were highly recommended. My husband ordered the crab cakes and I ordered the the pan seared Diver scallops. Every thing was delicious. I’m so glad we went before the holiday rush. Parking on site was a HUGE plus since it was a night out.
