The food was bland and the service was mediocre. Our bill was mixed up and the servers brought over the wrong food three times.
Great meal! Food is expensive, but consistently delicious.
Wonderful food & service in a very cozy atmosphere - we loved it! Thank you!
I was really disappointed in brunch. Staff is friendly, ambiance is ok. But the food? I had the huevos rancheros. The eggs were over cooked and literally the meal packed no wow. It was almost like from a can or fast food place. Olea needs to step it’s game up on the brunch game to fill the empty seats.
the french toast and bacon was delicious! and they serve 100% maple syrup.
Wonderful restaurant, great food and great service!
Great experience! Got to experience the sunshine sitting by the window. Service was fast & pleasant.
Olea is a true neighborhood gem. Great food, friendly service. Extremely kind owner. I do think the food was a bit pricey for what I got ($16 for a simple egg sandwich) and the service was okay. Food came out quickly but there were no check in’s on how we were. Overall, I’d come here again - sitting outside seems like the way to go in the future.
First time but will plan to go again. Great local restaurant and food was outstanding!
Amazing brunch. Extremely friendly staff. Small outdoor dining area. Make reservation in advance there can be a small wait on the weekends.
Loved the breakfast sandwich
Love Olea and wish We lived closer.
Wonderful place for breakfast. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. Custard Challah French toast is amazing. The Acme Bread egg sandwich was probably the best I ever had. Can’t wait to go again the next time I’m in San Fran.
Such warm service and delicious food... we ran late and they accomodated our late arrival. Owner/host? was simply delightful. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Great brunch menu and service. Very casual indoor and outdoor seating and food is delicious
Great food, great service, great experience!
This place has really gone downhill. Bad service; bland, tasteless food and kind of pricey; loud inside; door wide open on a cold day and they wouldn't close it so I had to wear my jacket inside. We waited 45 min to get our food after we sat down. Overall, extremely disappointing. Needless to say, I won't be back.
Olea came up as a good brunch place a reasonable walk from our Union Square hotel and we were not disappointed. I had Huevoz Rancheros, delicious red sauce, eggs done perfectly and black to round it out. We had s large pot of FrenyPress to accompany it and it fortified us for a long day of walking. I was happy, my stomach was happy and my legs made it through 9 more miles of walking the city.
Good menu and creative Latin/California dishes. When the sun is shinning the outdoor seating is fun and relaxed.
We enjoyed our experience at Olea tremendously. The owner was lovely and accommodating. The food was DELISH. We will be coming back.
Wonderful, as always! The chilaquiles and the cazuela continue to be delicious brunch favorites, and the owner and staff are always delightful!
Always outstanding service and delicious ingredients. Continues to update the menu with great new additions.
Brunch at Olea was delicious! I loved the chilaquiles (so flavorful). Coffee was strong but tasty. Small place so best to make a reservation.
Food, coffee and service all very good.
Quaint neighborhood spot, great food. We will definitely be back. My only complaint would be that I would love to have an option for plain ol' regular coffee for a Sunday brunch instead of the Blue Bottle French Press for $7. Other than that, I can't believe it took us so long to try this cozy place! Service was good, Philip the owner is charming, and we really enjoyed everything.
Olea is a delightful spot , serving delicious food with a varied menu and thoughtful service. I look forward to trying everything on the menu, prices are extremely fair and portions are perfect, what can I say , I love it there. Go, treat yourself.
Always delicious at Olea!
Delicious French Toast in a small restaurant! The challah french toast was yummy with strawberries and a touch of cinnamon. It is a great choice for brunch! My boyfriend had the french press coffee and he said it was good too!
We enjoyed brunch at Olea on a Sunday morning. My spouse ordered the challah French toast — seriously scrumptious. Though the toast comes with maple syrup, we found it lovely with the strawberries alone. I ordered the Black Forest ham omelet, which honestly was one of the best omelets I’ve ever eaten. The staff were friendly and attentive. We plan on returning to sample the rest of the menu.
The Cazuela is amazing. Always. Love brunching at Olea. The staff is wonderful and friendly.
It was good and efficient - the food and service both. The French toast was great and the French press excellent. The omelette was fine...a little light on flavor and rather thin. But I would totally go back and keep ordering different things! It was a very serviceable brunch place.
Absolute fantastic experience end to end! Greeted outside by the hostess, service was impeccable and the food was amazing! It set the bar for my visit to San Francisco.
Wonderful service and food, as always! The chilaquiles and the cazuela are brunch favorites, as are the tartines.
It was a nice experience and the food was good! The owner Phillip was fun to talk with about SF and all! Thank you!!!
Brunch! It was very nice. It is a Spanish place. We sat outside and that was great. People were very nice. Nothing fancy and a small menu. Coffee and bloody Mary’s were good
Excellent brunch and friendly staff
Fiend in town, sat outside. Excellent service as always (really the
service is incredible, they are on it and so nice). Food is fresh and delicious!
Great food and service!
The food was very good. The beef empanadas were super tasty with the side salad and eggs.
We had a delicious Mothers Day brunch! Delicious food & fun outdoor atmosphere.
