Ole Tapas Lounge & Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
The food was fabulous and service equally good. We had the tapas assortment of dishes, chorizo, anchovy, salmon, rib eye steak. Our waitress was friendly and funny and gave great recommendations. The ambiance was pretty noisy, between the bar and the closeness of other tables. It was festive and fun, but a little hard to converse.
Nice and cozy atmosphere and the half booths are relaxing for sitting back to enjoy a good dining experience.
Good wine selections to choose from and beer on tap from local breweries.
Great Tapas menu!
The stuffed dates were a real treat.
Food is full of the flavor of Spain.

Ole To Ole ,
Ole Tapas offered our family an enjoyable dinner. With college age children it is not often we are all together in the same city! The beef tapas were somewhat ordinary. However, we really enjoyed the seafood options. The desserts were nothing spactacular and the after dinner coffee while entertaining to watch (french press) was not the best tasting. The best part of the meal was the house made Sangria! Our waiter was nice but, his command of the english language was somewhat limited and he did not seem to recieve any assistance from the other staff members.
When we walked in the waiter mentioned the flamenco dancers. We were a little miffed because we don't usually enjoy an interactive dining experience. We were pleasantly surprised. The dancers were wonderful and engaging. The wait staff was friendly and happy which contributed to the overall vibe of the restaurant. The food was delicious and we generally enjoyed Tapas experience. We will be back...
We dined at this restaurant because we were in the mood for something different and did not want a big meal. We were pleased with the choices of tapas especially since we all have varied food likes. We had an awesome waitress Didi I think who helped us make perfect choices for our group. We will be back again when we are in the area.
We have been to this location a number of time always enjoying the food. This particular night we happened to be there when they had live entertainment which for the confined space was way too loud. It made it really difficult to have a conversation with the person next to you and the few moments between songs really way too short.
Additionally before sitting down we observed the table being set by a women who was carrying the water glasses with her fingers inside the glasses... ewwwww. We observed these behavior for every table she setup.
While the food continues to be good, it will be some time before we go back as noise and bad hygiene practices by the servers are big no-no's on our book.
This was our second time at Ole Tapas and it was as good as the first. The food is creative and delicious and the wait service is great. We went this time for our daughter's birthday and we had a wonderful time. We ordered about 3 plates per person and was able to try everything. We really enjoyed the steak tapas and the cassoulet with chorizo and beans. Everything was delicious! So was the sangria!
We'll be back again. Thank you Ole Tapas!
Not the best experience, although the food was decent. We walked in and they didn't have our reservation (after confirming just a few hours before.) They appeared to be training a new waitress, and she was difficult to understand (seemed English was not first language.)
We had to keep calling over the waitress to refill drinks. Food was good, not consistently great, with the exception of two dishes -- gambas (shrinp with garlic) and the diver scallops -- both of those were delicious. We ordered about 10 different items (for party of 4) and those were the only two standouts.
Excellent food and wine as always. Waitress wasn't very attentive. I had the bread pudding there a few months ago and it was A-MAZING. I was disappointed with the 'mixed berry' bread pudding, which was tasteless. Otherwise everything was fabulous. We're in love with Ole Tapas!
Food and service were excellent! Server was kind, knowledgeable and took great care with my food sensitivities. Accommodations were made for gluten-free vegetarian fare and the chef was very generous with portions. This is a fantastic place for a relaxed, delicious meal that meets a variety of tastes and dietary needs. Will go back again!
We have visited Ole Tapas on very occasions and love to share it with friends. This time was just my wife and I, glad we made a reservation as they had live Flamenco dancers and where very busy. The service was good, being that we had a server who was new to the restaurant. Overall the food was excellent, however we left disappointed with our desert as we ordered the Molten Chocolate cake, only to find out after ordering that the desert menu is being changed. This was not explained to us, so the replacement for the molten cake was not what we would have ordered.
Again, I saw this a favorite place of ours and we will continue to go back.
We went on NYE for an early dinner. Started with the Montadito de Boquerones a la Vasca (White Spanish anchovies - very good), the Gambas al Ajillo (Sautéed shrimp - wow, just wow), and the Fabada Asturiana (Stew of white Asturian alubias beans - very good, quite savory). While we waited for our Paella Negra, we also had the Betabel con Queso (Salt-roasted beets - good), and the Tostones Gratinados (Fried green plantains - very tender and sweet).
The paella was very good - large pan with lots of mussels and calamari. My only complaint would be that the mussels needed to soak in clear water a little more, as most were a bit gritty, but well prepared - very tender, not the rubber balls I've come to expect.
Overall, a very good experience and we will definitely be back!
Did not expect such a great truly Spanish menu with terrific tapas selections and spot on paella! Beautifully presented and very genuine tapas selection included a fabulous lentil dish, true Spanish gazpacho and several other items. The paella (we had Valenciana) was much more than generous and had a notable complement of seafood (although a little too salty for our particular palates). The service was excellent as all servers shared responsibility and responsiveness for each customer. We will go back and back again. A terrific find and a great change of pace from the mostly Italian and Latin restaurants in the area.
This was my second visit to Ole Tapas and both experiences were very good . The first time our small group shared various tapas ; this time we had the paella . Very tasty and a nice way to indulge in Spanish cuisine . Service is very efficient and attentive . Will not be my last visit
Went in for early dinner around 630 on Saturday night. Restaurant pretty empty. Server was very nice but the food took a long time. We ordered a cheese tray to start with. Then 2 meat tapas and 2 veggie tapas. Plenty of food for 2 people. I would return but don't go if you're starving...because you'll be waiting a while to eat!
I went for dinner for my wife's birthday. The place was great, the food was delicious. We ordered the signature Spanish dish of PAELLA and we had a lot of leftover left. I told them it was my wife's birthday but never brought us anything to celebrate. Had a great time and would recommend this place.
