The food was excellent, the service was excellent. Our waitress was very good at explaining to us what the different foods were like, and made some great recommendations to us. The price is on the high side, but we knew that going in and it was well worth it. The owner came out and asked us what we thought, which was nice personal touch on his part.

It's always good to eat here. The service is friendly, and the food is great. Portions are much larger than other tapas places for the same price.

This was the perfect place for our girl's night out. The food was incredible, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be coming again soon.

We ordered fourteen tapas, and there was not a bad dish among them. The lentils in a yogurt/lime sauce were an especially good surprise. We started to order a cheese plate for dessert, and our server guided us instead toward a warm goat cheese with blood orange and sherry reduction: we were very glad he did. Good, knowledgeable, friendly service; he was perhaps a little overstretched.

Not only does the restaurant's menu promise SO many delicious choices but the chef delivers over and above expectations on every one. The wait staff is so helpful in matching menu items to palate preferences-- I have never been steered wrong. My only concern is whether I remember all of the wonderful choices so that I can reorder next time I visit. Can't wait to return.

We have visited this restaurant previously and have always had outstanding food and service. We typically go for the Tapas items; however, on this occassion we tried the Paella as it was a 25% off special. OMG!!! On the menu it says serves 2-3 people...the size of this entree this could have served some small countries. There was enough food for my wife and I to partake in two servings and have over 4 servings of leftovers. The food was so tasty I didn't want to stop eating. And the service was phenomenal. The server was very friendly and attentive. We now know if we go for Paella to bring a group of people to feast upon this magnificent item. We love the food and will continue to visit.

It was Girls' Night Out for four friends, three had never been to Ole Tapas. One had been to a new tapas restaurant the night before and could not compare the two (very different foods, ambience). We had many, many items off the menu--which our knowledgeable, attentive waiter (Brett) advised us to keep so we could keep trying the food. Portions were perfect for sharing. The next time, we'll each order our favorites. We were there for 2-1/2 hours enjoying the company, food, wine/beer, and service. Ole Tapas was a wonderful place to get together as a group.

The scallops and vegetables were great. However, their shrimp needs work (taste like shrimp from Chinese takeout). Also, too noisy to have a conversation with friends.

We returned to Ole Tapas Lounge & Restaurant after not being there for a year or more. The experience was excellent and we will be back. The servings seemed more generous than we remembered and the quality of food had improved as well. We had the Ensalada Mediterránea and the Ensalada de Casa followed by Tortilla Espanola, Calamares a la Plancha, and Bistec Ajillo; all were excellent and we were quite full at the end. We finished with excellent coffee and a shared Flan desert, also excellent. Service was attentive and helpful. All and all, a very pleasant evening.

Ole Tapas is one of the best eateries in the Newark/Wilmington area. The food is great, with unusual and extremely tasty dishes. The service is always good and the ambiance is inviting. I have recommended Ole to many friends

The food was artfully presented and delicious as usual. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, but it became obvious that they were a bit understaffed pretty much all around.

Overall it was still a great meal and the servers and the chefs performed quite well in a packed house on a busy valentines weekend.

The valentine Prix Fixe menu was tasty. The best was the Quail just ahead of the strawberry soup. By far the worst was the rose sorbet, just kinda an ice lump with no flavor.

I have been to Ole Tapas several times, and it has been wonderful every time. Each Tapas dish was wonderfully prepared and imaginative, the wine list (particularly the choices of wine by the glass and the three types of Sangia) is very good. They have a good selection of espresso drings, and the desserts must NOT be missed! This was my restaurant of choice for last Mother's Day (my children are in their mid-teens and older, though) and our meal their made that day a very special occasion for me.

If you love trying things, this is the place for it. A wide variety of wines and food made this a gem for me. Made a flight of wines to try with the tapas and everything was awesome! My only issue (not really one to be honest) was the noise but it was a Saturday night. If you are looking a for a romantic place, this is definitely it. I am going back just to try more of the items! Put this on you list of places to eat!

Our food was great. The waitress was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The service was perfect--our food came quickly but we didn't feel rushed. The tapas were quite varied--there was something for everyone. It was a pleasant change from the fish and steak that we usually have when eating out. We'll definitely go back.

Ole is fantastic, the food is always fun and interesting, the Chef/Owner makes it a point to interect with his customers and ensure they are having an enjoyable and memorable night. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about the menu (important in a Tapas Restaurant) and will not lead you astray although they do tend to become overwhelmed at times.

We've driven by this place a few times, kept saying that we need to stop in, finally got my chance on Saturday night. Glad that we did. It was a nice evening with the BF and wanted to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised with the fun and artistic decor. The dining area was very spacious. Noise level was great, not too loud so it made for great and easy conversation. Food was really good tried about 8 Tapas, from the Patatas Bravas, Croquetas de pollo, empanadas, pollo moruno and so on. Had the Churros for dessert. Sangria variety was good and tasty. We'll be back.

Been many times and always have had knowledgeable servers. Lately the knowledge is there, but the servers don't visit often (a necessity with tapas). You cannot go wrong with the Potatoes or Lentils. After the 1st visit, we never order paella. Just a waste of $ and time for us. Ordering so many dishes, chances are that all will not work out. We usually love 50%, like 30%, tolerate 15% and hate the last 5%. I always recommend this place. Owner is on site and active. Great for couples dining. Advice: order what you like, don't worry about the group. That way your happy and your friends can taste yours. We always get 2 lentils and 2 potatoes. Cheers!

I love the relaxed feel of this place. The tapas were delicious. I definitely would return to try some others. The paella valenciana was amazing and chock full of seafood. The crema catalana tasted like the one we have in Barcelona. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable. A great Spotlight dinner. We will definitely be back.

These are the best tapas I have had outside of Barcelona. Ole Tapas spares no expense in obtaining the genuine ingredients (Serrano ham, tender langoustines, marinated (not salted) anchovies) and preparing dishes in the traditional fashion. Excellent wines and friendly service round out a first class dining experience.
