Loved the guacamole made at the table. I had shrimp tacos, which were delicious. Service was pleasant and attentive. Great night out!
Great for a group of people - we celebrated my husband’s birthday and had so much fun. Service was awesome (yay Juan!!!) and the good/drinks were excellent. Table side guacamole is a must. Pitchers of margs were yummy but there was WAY too much ice in there and not as much drink as we would have liked. But overall, stellar time.
Had a very good meal and a terrific waiter. This was my first time there. Will be back.
Ike is just not the same restaurant as it was ten-15 years ago. Food quality is down and the ambiemce has completely changed for the worst. I don’t think I can eat here again
I love their drink specials, and the food is delicious. They have a varied menu, so you can have something different every time if you want to. I often meet friends here for dinner after work.

Great food, great drinks, and an incredible staff! I came to Ole for my birthday dinner with friends and was in love with the vibe of the space. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quaint space to have a meal.
The overall experience was okay. The food was average in flavor and heavy in saltiness (table side guacamole). Margaritas were tasty, especially the added habenro puree.
The one thing that set a negative tone, in my opinion, was when the hostess seated us and told us we needed to eat and be done in an hour because they had booked another reservation behind us. I understand you may book reservations tightly on a Saturday night but that's not good customer service and shouldn't be the way you welcome people into your restaurant.
Going away party
My barbacoa was on the salty side, but the meat was delightfully tender. The guacamole and chips and salsa and dangerous, they are so delicious. And the flan was so creamy and indulgent. A wonderful treat!

We visited this restaurant a few times two years ago and loved the authentic upscale Mexican food. On this recent visit, our food was inconsistent. Table side guacamole was delicious, but the mole sauce recipe was not as good as it used to be.
It was an unusual experience to be served in the “main dining room” across from tables where people could sit with their take out orders.
The food was not very good. It use to be good but it has gone down significantly. The mole sauce was not cooked through. The tortilla chips were too salty.
Service was terrific!t /Our favorite was the Pork Belly on grilled tortilla. REALLY good. Tasty tacos and very good chips and salsa!

Delicious and authentic food! Service was good and the waitstaff were very patient with members of our 8 person party who didn't have much experience with Mexican cuisine.
I was there for a 13 person birthday celebration on a Friday evening. The wait staff was fantastic and accommodated both requests to turn down the music so we could talk more easily and helped out with candles for a cake! They also brought out a sombrero for the birthday guest which was a lovely touch. The food was fantastic and the drinks were very good. We were seated immediately and the seating was not tight or cramped. They have a large back room that I think they put groups in and we were basically alone back there. Even if the room was full it would not have felt cramped.
We went to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday with a group of 10 friends. They sat us earlier than our reservation which was very kind and accommodating. Our food was delicious but all of our drinks were poorly made. I don’t recommend ordering drinks off the menu, as I had to return a mojito. The ambiance needs improvement as the heat was cranked up and the music volume fluctuated. Overall the guacamole service and meals were the highlight. The waiter kindly split our checks and attended to us. Not our best meal in Boston, but not too bad.
Party of 9 experienced excellent service by a single server. Beverages were kept full. She was knowledgeable about the menu and everyone was able to get their dish prepared exactly how they wanted. All of the food came out at the same time but 2 people said their dishes were a bit cold. Overall everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. There is a small lot next door. Parking on cambridge street is free after 8.
Service was so slow amd food was fine. Not worth thr price. Overall i wouldn’t clme back. The inly good thing was my beautiful date.
Totally enjoyed the food at Ole. Tried the ceviche, tacos suadero and tacos with short-ribs. All were very tasty and fresh. Provided tortilla chips while waiting. Nice casual atmosphere and good for groups. Will go back again.

Top 3 Mexican restaurants in Massachusetts. Get the ceviche and the tableside guacamole
They have changed the layout and it really changed the feeling of the restaurant. There are people waiting in line for take-out next to a taco bar and there is a big bar now there. We used to go there for special nights, but it really doesn't feel like that now. The food was still very good, but didn't feel as special in the atmosphere.
Delicious! Easily the best Mexican food I've found in the Boston/Cambridge area. They made the guacamole fresh at the table and cocktails and service were fantastic.
We were sat in the back where a a salsa event was taking place - it was VER loud and we were the only table seated back there not part of the event. They asked if we wanted ot move which was nice but htne it took forever to get us a new table.
12 of us went to Olé for my friend's birthday. Food and drinks were great. We made a lot of noise, but it was masked by the music playing through the restaurant. After dinner, we went to the back room for a free salsa lesson and had so much fun dancing!
Ole used to be our favorite place for brunch when it was on the menu a while back, so we were excited to try it now that it's back. (Our favorite dish before was the breakfast quesadilla, which is no longer offered.) The chips and salsa were great and the coffee was tasty (though the cups were too sticky). I ordered the hotcakes, which came with whipped cream, dulce de leche, and strawberries/raspberries. The hotcakes themselves were a little too dry and dense without a ton of flavor, but the toppings were good. My partner ordered the omelet, which he enjoyed, but it was way too eggy (and the eggs were very thick). Overall we enjoyed the meal, but would definitely try something else next time.
Fabulous group dinner! The food was awesome start to finish and the tequila options were top notch! Guacamole was one of the best ever! Super fresh ingredients! We will definitely be back!
Olé serves the best Tex Mex we have found in the Boston area. We always order the guacamole, which is the best I have ever had.
Great atmosphere, waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to suggesting items. Will definitely be eating here again.

Great night, amazing ceviche!
We went with another couple and the four of us loved the food. The guacamole was made tableside and was particularly good. Three of us are vegetarian and had no trouble finding delicious things to eat. Our only complaint was that it was incredibly hot in the restaurant and we did not get enough water refills. I don’t know if their A/C wasn’t working or wasn’t on or is a very inefficient system but we were all glistening with sweat. I will definitely go again but maybe not in the summer.
It’s so hard to find decent Mexican food in New England that isn’t all just a big plate of brown covered in cheese. The Chile relleno & enchilada mole Maria were just what I’d been looking for & as close to authentic as I’ve ever had in this area. Love!!!
