Fresh, homemade stuffed pretzels - fabulous! The musician, Jim Gilman, was excellent - had an unbelievable repertoire. We had planned to visit over dinner for a couple of hours, but had such a good time that we stayed 3 and a half hours! Amongst the 4 of us, 1 had beer, 1 had wine, 1 had a mixed drink, and I had iced raspberry tea. We split two appetizers and ordered various entrees. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and the wait staff was perfectly attentive.
Good German and Polish food Cheap price POO=Baa band
I relocated from Columbus, Ohio to the OC. I was thrilled to find an authentic German restaurant! Good food. Live music. Nice beer selection.
the food was fantastic and authentic. We ordered the pork shank and it was already plenty of food for two people already. waitress was very friendly. overall an A+
It was exactly what we were looking for. An authentic German restaurant as I met up with friends and we had lived in Germany many years ago
We arrived to find a talented live musician playing German and other favoured tunes for us as we enjoyed our brunch. We all ordered our favourite German dishes, and they were tasty. The beautiful waitress was friendly and efficient, always quick to notice if one of our coffee cups needed a refill. We will be back.
Took great care of us for my boyfriend's birthday. Our kid loved it and loved the accordian player. Great food! Best bratwurst I've ever had at great prices.
Went here with our younger son and his girl friend to celebrate my wife's birthday and my younger son's girl friend's birthday.
Excellent German food. I had rouladen with rotkohl and potato pancakes. My wife had sauerbraten wth the same sides. The rouladen was the best I have had. My wife liked the sauerbraten.
large portions, but we all cleaned our plates and emptied a pitcher of spaten Oktoberfest beer.
There was an accordion player and a singer. They were good. The only downside was they had a recording supplementing their playing.
It was the end of Oktoberfest, which was in an outside area.
Excellent service and the price was reasonable
We went for Octoberfest. Had we gone for dinner rather than lunch, we may have felt differently. The waitresses didn't smile or make us feel welcome. We did enjoy the lively music though.
We lived in Germany and try to eat in as many German restaurants as possible. The OLD WORLD is, by far, the best in SoCal! Great ambiance, service, entertainment, beer and food!
