Food was amazing the service immaculate and the surroundings very festive loved it
I would come back. Food was good and the service was excellent.
The food and margarita was great service started off really slow
The service ruined the entire experience. At least the food was decent. Definitely not coming back here.
Went for lunch on a Sunday and it was parking in their on-site structure was very convenient, especially since it was SO crowded in Old Town that day.
Everything was wonderful! We had a great evening.
Great food, fast service and beautiful view of the town.
Ate here because it was the only place that had reservations for the size party I had. The food wasn’t great, and menu only had 5-10 things....should have went somewhere else
Great food, awesome view. We went for a birthday and everyone was happy with the experience. We will be back
Waitress was not friendly and was visibly bothered by the slightest request.
We wanted to order dessert but it took so long for the waitress to check-in with us and when she finally did she already had the check in hand.
We will not be dining here again
Good food, excellent service
Our server Sandro was amazing and attentive. Great customer service!
The table service and ambiance on the roof deck was amazing ✌️
We had sizzling combo fajitas and margaritas so authentic, we felt we were dinning in Mexico!
Def coming back to old town Tequila! Hahahahaha xoxoxo
They turn on the padre game and made my night
It was OK. Fast service and decent seating. View was wonderful
I had a nice evening with my date and we sat out in patio with beautiful view and kept warm with heaters. Drinks are reasonable and food is fresh and hot.
Love the place and will continue to come back.
Thank you Tequila Factory
I grew up in San Diego, so maybe I'm spoiled. There are so many great options for Mexican food in the area. So I can't say I was surprised by the mediocre Mexican food experience at this restaurant in Old Town. It is a total tourist zone so I can't say I'm surprised. We went to Tequila Factory because I was given a gift card. Took the family to celebrate a family thing. The good: I made a reservation and asked for a table with a great view, and they delivered. We got the corner table on the deck overlooking the city. That was nice. The not so good: table service was poor. Waitress was MIA multiple times. Everyone's food arrived except for my 15 year old son, who was the VIP of the dinner. We had to wait another 10 minutes for his plate. Food was good, though the margaritas were sub-par, which was surprising considering I assumed they were signature drinks at Tequila Factory. Will I go back? Probably not, unless to check out their dark and intriguing bar area to watch a Padre game. Then again, probably not unless I had another gift card, or knew when their happy hour was...
Loved it! Our server Alicia was fantastic and the brunch special was a good size! Bottomless mimosas or champagne too!
Server not very attentive. Waited a long period of time every time we needed service. Very disappointed in the service but the food was excellent.
When getting there the party in front of us was lacking a person and “Linda” refused to seat them even though they had a very elderly gentleman with them, the manager would not even let them go to their table with their 5/6 people. I had asked for outside seating and that didn’t happen. The food was taco shop food. The only good thing was the waitress-super nice and attentive
The pozole and the flan were bomb.
We really enjoy the weekend brunch here. Before COVID it was a buffet and now it's a menu with choices. We hope one day that the buffet will return but understand and will continue to come to enjoy the brunch. Did I mention the bottomless mimosa. We always take a walk in Old Town after eating.
Looking forward to returning. Nice for a date night
Spectacular view. Amazing service. Great food and margaritas. Definitely a 10.
Excellent service, recommend the weekend champagne brunch for great value.
Came for a special occasion & was sat in the corner in front of the restaurant. Not what we had in mind for a “special occasion”.
Food was good. Service was okay, the server was constantly busy and someties hard to get ahold of, though she (Aranza) did try her best and I still commend her for trying to make herself available to help when she could so the three stars I gave for service is not aimed at her at all but the long wait times between ordering and then being able to request things we needed. Our group requeted the bill to be split seven ways and she was amenable and did an excellent job at splitting the orders perfectly. More, it seemed the restaurant was understaffed while we were there. The ambience was a little odd where we were seated. The room seemed a bit dark in the specific room we were in compared to the rest of the restaurant. Still, a generally enjoyable experience. I wouldn't be opposed to coming again. It was generally pleasant. Was also told by someone else in my group that the pozole they ordered was excellent. Also the parking situation was great. The restaurant has included parking below the restaurant and since we came on a busy Sunday morning, this was very much appreciated.
Party of 8. We had brunch with bottomless mimosa however it wasnt bottomless. We ended up ordering pitchers of margarita because it was annoying to continually ask for more champs. We had to ask for lemons, napkins, water, tortillas, spoons. We arrived at 11 and left at 230. There are other restaurants in the area, that provide better service and tastier food. I honestly wont recommend or be back.
Worst service ever. Took 30 min to get a watered down margarita. Then took another 35 min to get fajitas that were not sizzling at all.
Gorgeous view and various patio areas to choose from. The burrito grande was delicious as were the pitcher of reposado margaritas. It was our first time there and will definitely go back.
Great view great food
We were visiting from out of town and decided to try this restaurant based on the good ratings. This restaurant is connected to the Best Western hotel. As soon as we walked in, there is a noticeable stinky odor throughout the entire inside of the restaurant. Fortunately we were seated outside. But it was chilly and we asked the waitress to turn on the patio heaters. She did not know how to turn them on and she was not able to get them turned on until the end of our meal. She also must have been handling too many tables inside because we hardly saw her outside to serve us. The food is also just mediocre at best. We were looking forward to some real good Mexican food in Old Town San Diego. Too bad we picked the wrong place.
This is a family favorite. Always a stop on our San Diego trips!
Sunday brunch with the family was incredible, very polite and helpful staff.
We went for Easter brunch. Food was good and got a great view seat. Hostess and waiters were very friendly and very nice restaurant. Service alittle slow (not too bad) but overall a greast experience!
The parking underneath the building is such a plus. The waitress and staff were very accommodating. The food was good. The tequilla shot with the orange slice and cinnamon was yummy.
Waiter was enthusiastic and super friendly! Enjoyed his energy for sure!
