On the expensive side for the type of food. Odd combination of Greek and steak as if they did not know which way to go. Restaurant is literally an old house. Such places cam have a rustic charm but not here. You are pretty much aware you are having dinner in an enclosed porch. The steak was cooked perfectly and they let the meat do the talking. It was not overly spiced and grilled perfectly. The steak sauce is excellent. The creamed spinach was too creamed and the garlic mashed were no better than Friday's or Applebees. Overall for the price ($52 for a Tbone) does not meet the standard it should.
such underwhelming food, I went two years ago and it was passable, but this was barely edible (and may have even made me sick) and the prices were high.
Consistent, solid place. Always delivers a great meal

This was very aggravating and ruined our evening!
Both Open Table and Old Stove Pub should be ashamed
Nothing special if interested in steak. Can't review anything else as that was what all of us had. Baked potatoes on small size, and creamed spinach is really lots of cream with some spinach thrown in. Uneatable.
This place has decent Greek food although I was a bit disappointed they weren't offering octopus the night we were there. Anyone who knows Greek cuisine understands a properly cooked octopus dish is a mainstay in Greek dining. Change that and our server's less than enthusiastic attitude, and I'd return for a second shot.
Greek dishes and salad excellent. Monster steak fine for three-flavorable , but a little tough. No coffee available for end of meal. Dessert enjoyed by all.
Just that we had a great waiter, delicious food and it was fun! We had 7 for dinner.
Always great food and great time at "the Stove". George is a great host and we are always taken well care of.
Food was great
