   A charming restaurant. The choices for seafood, charcuterie, salads, main course items was plenty. I would have liked to see a few more vegetarian dishes and I was disappointed with the dessert selection. There used to be much better selection in the past such as English trifle, cheesecake, etc. The service was superb.

   Overall the food was good but at Thanksgiving, one expects a real turkey (bird) and not a turkey roll. Salads were good but the vegetables lacked variety. Shrimp and salmon also good. Desserts were the same as The Mandarin or worse. Service, ambience excellent. Would I pay $60 a person again, $75 on Sunday and Monday? No,

   My family and I enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal at The Old Mill. The atmosphere is always lovely and festive. The food was good, with lots of selection, but we agreed it wasn't great. We also believed that the buffet space was too crowded.

   We celebrated a 70th birthday last evening at the Old Mill dinner and dancing. We have been going to the Old Mill with our family for over 40+ years and have always had a wonderful time with fabulous food and great entertainment. Unfortunately, our experience last evening was far from that. The service was horrendous. Our party of 8 arrived for our scheduled reservation at 7:30pm, and did not receive our main course until 9:30pm. An hour after our appetizers were finished, the waitress finally came by and said “sorry, there are holdups in the kitchen.” Wine was having to be poured by the men at our table. There was no offer of bread, to hold everyone over while we waited for the kitchen to prepare the entrees. When our entrees did come out, the chicken schnitzel was so well done that our guest said it was probably under the heating lamp for over an hour. The risotto, salmon and short ribs were all cold. There was no point in sending anything back since everyone was starving at this point. For the appetizers, the ceasar salad just had a generic bottled dressing on it, not the house made one that the Old Mill use to make. After finishing our entrees, the waitress came over and said we better order desserts fast because the kitchen wants to close for the night. The meal took so long that we kept having to push back our limo pickup time. We made the best out of the evening because it was a celebration of a major milestone birthday, but we will find it very hard to ever return to the Old Mill again after our experience last evening.

   We found Andrew our server to be excellent. The food was delicious and well presented . Service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was great. It's our 3rd time going to the Old Mill and we have always had a good time
