Stag evening meal - 11 guests at Old India. Slightly lost with the TT App pointing the place as being on Baldwin Street. Restuarant Happy for us to change our time and catered for a couple other stag parties too. We ordered the Banquet meal which was £20pp and covered a wide range of food - A couple asian friends said it was good and similar to home cooked style which is a good sign. By the end we were stuffed and ready to move on for rest of the evening.

beautiful interior. was happy they were able to preserve alot of the original features to the building. service was friendly and efficient. chicken korma cooked very well however butter chicken somewhat tasted very similar. all dishes came out nice and warm however the hotplates that was suppose to keep the meal warm were not efficient and hence the food did not taste as good perhaps they should look into changing the hot plates. portions were good size.

food great. atmosphere very cool as the restaurant is located in what used to be the stock exchange of bristol so basically you are having curry in an old bank. service is a little on the slow side.only big disappointment was that when we arrived they did not have a table booked under my name as they said they were no longer part of top table!!!! nevertheless they gave us their last table. lucky.

Visited Old India in Bristol on a Monday night. Venue's decor needs some revamping. Food and service was adequate but not exciting. Wanted to see what the place was like, but would not hurry back. There was nothing wrong with service or food, there was just nothing special about it either.

I chose the Old India restaurant in Bristol as the outside of the building looked enticing andunique. The food was amazing! But the service was lacking, we werent offered any chutneys and had to ask for them after ordering, no mention of starters or desserts and no hot towels were offered at the end. One waiter seemed to know what he was doing, but that didn't improve the service experience. However, as soon as we tasted the food we knew it was worth putting up with.

Old India in Bristol is excellent. The food was great, similar choicesas an average Indian but a cut above the average in both taste and variety. Definitely recommended.

As always, Old India delivered a great meal. We had a banquet for £20 a head and there was so much food! Good quality service and food.
