About Old Homestead - Caesars Palace Las Vegas
A bit of East Coast steakhouse tradition is reinvented at Caesars Palace with the Las Vegas outpost of New York City landmark Old Homestead. Brothers Marc and Greg Sherry, whose family has been associated with the original Old Homestead (est. 1868) for decades, let Vegas get a taste of its fine cuts and legendary history.
Complemented by sultry décor, dark woods and burgundy leather booths, Old Homestead's urban dining room and bar feels like a familiar favorite. (The glass wine cellar holding 15,000 bottles doesn't hurt, either.)
Many beloved American favorites are featured here, such as applewood smoked bacon, calamari, Kobe meatballs, warm doughnut bread pudding and New York-style classic cheesecake. Ranging from the New York Strip to Porterhouse for Two, its standout are the famous cuts of meat, selected and butchered with attention to detail that made the original so famous.

Old Homestead - Caesars Palace Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We were warmly greeted and my birthday was acknowledged by the hostesses! Our table was ready. James, our waiter, was friendly and attentive. We were never rushed, either while deciding on our menu or while dining. Our meal was served in the most enticing display and at the perfect temperature. My filet melted in my mouth. My husband raved about his ribeye! My birthday was again acknowledged by our waiter, when he brought out a creme brûlée with a lighted candle. I felt very special and this will continue to serve as our special occasion restaurant!
My husband and I went to Old Homestead before going to see a show at Caesars Palace. We enjoyed every part of our experience from the cocktail at the bar to the excellent service to the perfectly cooked steak, delicious sides, and wine flight. Ask for Nigel Snellman to be your server. He's been there from day one and knows the menu front to back. He made some great suggestions, such as the truffle gnocchi. I don't normally care for gnocchi, but these were the best I've ever tasted. The som was also very knowledgeable and they had a fantastic wine selection. We would definitely go back again.
Excellent meal for Father's Day! Dad's been wanting to eat here for some time. Ate family style; shared crab cake appetizer, a beautiful tomahawk steak, pre-sliced, gnocchi, brocolini, fresh baked bread and beer. Should have added mushrooms, steak sauces and a salad, but nevertheless, too full for dessert. Perfect for three. Steak was cooked to perfection, service outstanding, first time here but will return. Highly recommend Old Homestead at Caesars Palace, a premier dining spot!
Typical, overpriced Vegas steakhouse. Nothing special. Service is good to adequate. We ordered the ribeye for two. Pretty standard. Dessert was the doughnuts, tasty. We were going to a show so it was convenient. Would not go again. Not bad food, fairly good with nice service.
Our family always makes this restaurant a must do when in Vegas .
Our favorite hard to find red wine along with the best ever NY strip is why we go.
Thank you to the kind servers who take their time not rush us as we order Irish coffee and enjoy the our social time.
Wife and I ate dinner here after seeing Celine.
The meal was absolutely amazing from the salads to the steak that were cooked perfectly.
My wife had the blue cheese crumbles (they were a little more then she expected) but all she did was scrape them off and everything was fine.
I had the fillet with the caramlized onions with bacon topping on the side just fantastic.
They also had a great selection of wine which we took advantage of.
Would definitely go back next time we are in Vegas.
We visited the restaurant for my husband's 40th Birthday meal whilst visiting Las Vegas. We had dined before about 5 years ago but took friends this time. The food and service were amazing, from welcoming us with a happy birthday, recommending dishes on the menu and excellent service. Highly recommended!! We will be back hopefully one day
We head to Vegas quite often and ain't gonna lie, it's mostly for the food. This is our go to steakhouse there. Most of the time, they hit the flavors just right and service is on point. Only one time has the service and food off but for the money and location, it's our favorite place to hit up for steaks.
Laut!
This place was loud, cramped, and far overpriced. If you go here be prepared to spend well over $100 as the sides are separate and you get charged for everything. The salmon, while one of the cheapest items, was amazing. If you come looking for steak, get a 32ou or larger and share, or you won't get your money's worth.
What a meal!! Fantastic steak cooked to perfection, the potatoes au gratin crispy and cooked through, and the mac n' cheese; need I say more! Just........wow! Large portions and the side dishes were served in small cast iron skillets, keeping them warm through the meal so if you wanted extra it would still be warm. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the people watching too. We will definitely be back again!
This place was fabulous!!! A great dinner. One of the best we have ever had. Service could not have been better; it was excellent and they were very friendly. Our waiter Ramon C. was one of the best we have ever had! The lamb and the steaks were perfect. Great sides and wonderful desert. This is a real winner and we will go back.
