About Old Homestead - Caesars Palace Las Vegas
A bit of East Coast steakhouse tradition is reinvented at Caesars Palace with the Las Vegas outpost of New York City landmark Old Homestead. Brothers Marc and Greg Sherry, whose family has been associated with the original Old Homestead (est. 1868) for decades, let Vegas get a taste of its fine cuts and legendary history.
Complemented by sultry décor, dark woods and burgundy leather booths, Old Homestead's urban dining room and bar feels like a familiar favorite. (The glass wine cellar holding 15,000 bottles doesn't hurt, either.)
Many beloved American favorites are featured here, such as applewood smoked bacon, calamari, Kobe meatballs, warm doughnut bread pudding and New York-style classic cheesecake. Ranging from the New York Strip to Porterhouse for Two, its standout are the famous cuts of meat, selected and butchered with attention to detail that made the original so famous.

Old Homestead - Caesars Palace Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We ordered 2 medium rare steaks that came out medium. We ordered a starter salad that never came and a drink that we had to ask for a few times. The drink finally came and was taken off the bill. It's a nice restaurant, but overall experience was disappointing.
We dined in your restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. The restaurant was very noisy making it impossible to carry a conversation. My disappointment was mostly on the food. I ordered a wedge salad and the lettuce had signs of aging.... not fresh. We ordered a "medium" filet mignon...we were served a "rare" filet mignon. Definitely not a $330 dinner!
I went and had a fabulous meal and great service!
I was just there on my own and treated like gold.
My wonderful server (I'm sorry I don't remember her name) even brought me out a special brûlée because I was celebrating!
Thank you for making my night so wonderful.
And thanks for having vueve rose by the glass a wonderful treat.
This was our first time eating at the Old Homestead. The steaks were wonderful. I'm a meat and potatoes type of guy, so I had a fillet with a baked potato. My wife had a salad and a fillet with melted blue cheese. We were in a booth for a date night type occasion, but we saw other groups who seemed to be having business and/or convention type meals together. The Old Homestead is off Nobu Way so there is lots of foot traffic to people watch.
The steaks were fabulous. Unfortunately the side dishes were not good. We ordered a filet which was excellent but the mushrooms were rubbery and the gratin potatoes tasted as if they were made from a box mix. It was extremely expensive and definitely not worth the price.
My husband and I got the Lollipop Ribeye for two and it didn't disappoint! Cooked perfectly and seasoned so you didn't need anything extra. We each got a soup and shared the Mac n Cheese. More than enough and we left satisfied. Our server was wonderful and attentive.
Rito was our waiter and was there for every detail of service from the moment we sat down until our dessert. He was attentive and provided five star service throughout our time in Homestead restaurant. He is certainly an asset to your restaurant and a pleasure to have been served by him.

our server raphael was excellent! ment and wine list are up to par for restaurant of this caliber. filet was seasoned well and tender but cooked more medium than medium rare and very dry which was disappointing for the price. the sides and appetizers were wonderful.
The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Our Server was very nice and really took care of all our questions while giving us great info on what to try. The steak was superb~Perfectly cooked and finished with the best buttery, béarnaise sauce. Cream brûlée was to die for topped with fruit and whipped cream. The only thing I did not particularly enjoy was the fries and I LOVE fries :(. However, we did have the 4 cheese mac & cheese and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Oh and the bread basket...5 different breads made in house. They even sent us home with a to-go bag of bread...so good!!!
Wonderful dinner! The steaks were cooked to perfection and cut like butter. The eXtensive wine list and excellent service made for a very enjoyable evening. The only downside was that our table was open and next to busy corridor which was distracting at times. Ask for an inside table if you prefer a more intimate experience..
The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and so tender I could cut it with a butter knife...literally! We had the tuna tartare for an appetizer and it was exceptionally tasty, quality Ahi Tuna. Steak was better tasting than some of the high end Steakhouses you'll find in Vegas. Will definitely return.
Besides the steaks, we had scallops, which were to die for, and the giant shrimp cocktail, which was as special as ever. Side dishes were wonderful and wine list never disappoints. Service was extra special..Rafael M. handled all our special requests perfectly. In all, the best dinner I can recall in many years.
pat lafrieda meats overhyped it didnt taste any diff than other gud cuts in other steakhouses such as jean georges, cut, smith wolensky or charlie palmer, maybe i was bit expecting too much...not pats fault of course. steak was still gud just not over top awesome as ppl hav described. i wud go back but not a must go spot like cut or prime
Last night, our party of 5 guests enjoyed our dining experience at the Old Homestead Steakhouse. I was delighted with the iceberg wedge salad but with ranch dressing and followed by wild salmon coupled with steamed asparagus. The others thoroughly enjoyed their iceberg salads followed by steaks, mashed potatoes, broccolini and asparagus. Our server-Roque was wonderful, courteous and provided exceptional service to all of us. Our other server was Sulieman Ferha and he paid such close attention to detail at our table. He was very nice to all of us and provided fabulous service as well. 5+ stars for Old Homestead!!
