About Old Homestead - Caesars Palace Las Vegas
A bit of East Coast steakhouse tradition is reinvented at Caesars Palace with the Las Vegas outpost of New York City landmark Old Homestead. Brothers Marc and Greg Sherry, whose family has been associated with the original Old Homestead (est. 1868) for decades, let Vegas get a taste of its fine cuts and legendary history.
Complemented by sultry décor, dark woods and burgundy leather booths, Old Homestead's urban dining room and bar feels like a familiar favorite. (The glass wine cellar holding 15,000 bottles doesn't hurt, either.)
Many beloved American favorites are featured here, such as applewood smoked bacon, calamari, Kobe meatballs, warm doughnut bread pudding and New York-style classic cheesecake. Ranging from the New York Strip to Porterhouse for Two, its standout are the famous cuts of meat, selected and butchered with attention to detail that made the original so famous.

Old Homestead - Caesars Palace Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We went for an untraditional Thanksgiving dinner. Table was ready on time. Service was superb. Food was fabulous. Even though they had a traditional Thanksgiving option, we all decided to have steak. All cuts were cooked perfectly and were delicious. My husband is still talking about the mushrooms!!! Could not be happier with our decision to have dinner at Old Homestead.
Way overpriced, although you get a lot of food; too much to eat. The turkey was good except for the weird circles of dark meat, the steak was excellent, the cranberry sauce so-so, sweet potatoes and brussell sprouts as expected. For dessert I had pecan pie which was hard as a rock. The coffee was good and hot and the drinks were made very well. The bill for 4 people plus tip was over $500!!! Go to grandmas house for turkey day.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted immediately by 2 very nice young ladies. We were seated right away. Our server Roger was very attentive and informative. The manager came over to check on us as we dined, which is always appreciated. The steak was a little too charred on the ends but the center was a perfect medium. The oysters and the lobster was sweet, and delicious.
Exceptional experience! This was probably our 4th visit to this restaurant. They all have been excellent, but this one was even more outstanding than the others. We really liked booth number seven as it was a bit more secluded from the rest of the restaurant, but still afforded us great people watching opportunity. The food was amazing. We had the "lollipop" ribeye for two, and was quite possibly the best steak we have ever had, and we have been to many top notch places over the years. Wine was excellent, and the service provided also was exceptional. We will definitely be back
Food was good but very over priced for what was presented. Disappointed with waiter, we had brought a very special bottle of wine, he indicated they had a $50 corkage but upon looking at his wine list they didn't have that wine, said he would have corkage removed after asking his supervisor. Waiter never returned to the table until bill was presented saying he couldn't remove corkage. Presented very poorly if they have a corkage, they have a corkage, no need to play some non classy game.
We both ordered the filet, Medium. Mine came out Medium Rare and my daughter's came out Medium Well. Not sure how that happens if they both go on the grill at the same time. However, having said that, they were excellent. I also had the French Onion Soup and loved it. She had the grilled Asparagus and we both enjoyed that.
