The place and ambiance is great, however our service was horrible. We waited for 30 minutes or more to be seated. It was understandable since it was during the CPAC convention. But after being seated, service was very slow and not attentive. We had to keep calling other waiters to get service. In terms of food, the porterhouse was ok, I should have chosen the cowboy ribeye. The fries were too salty even for me who likes salt a lot. And mushroom didn't taste right. The bottle of wine was great, but we had to wait for the bigger wine goblets for 10 minutes.

My wife and I have been going to the Old Hickory for several years for our anniversary. It has always been fantastic. We almost always get the For Two Tomahawk Ribeye steak.

Every year we come to National Harbor we have to get a reservation here, it's just that good! They make sure everything is cooked to your liking and they do a great job recommending wines, champagnes, and cheeses and describing the flavors. The staff is always very friendly and their timing is good. I definitely recommend it.

This steakhouse is very nice and appropriate for a special occasion. Located in the National Harbor Gaylord the location is convenient, especially if you are staying at the Gaylord.

The checkin was a little slow and there was little communication on what to expect...”they will seat you in a moment or you have a wait of...” this did not happen and we stood around for awhile and then went to the bar. As soon as we sat at to the bar they came by to seat us.
The reception was friendly, but understaffed at the time we checked in for our reservation.

The booths on the restaurant floor sit slightly lower than normal so the table line is high and a little uncomfortable. If you have a chair, all was right. They have white napkins so if you have dark evening ware the white shows on your clothing.

The main service was great and the food was outstanding. I liked the atmosphere and the overall experience was good.

Ambience and food taste including sides were memorable. Service was attentive but not memorable. Cost was less than expected. A quiet restaurant with live violinist on Valentine’s Day. Coffee and Creme brûlée with fresh fruit on top was a great finale.

I am attending a conference at the Gaylord and was pleased with the service

The young lady that explained the cheese tray was delightful and very knowledgeable

Upon arrival we were seated in a adequate amount of time at a table to 2 per our request. The food was outstanding especially the Porterhouse Steak well seasoned. We will definitely return.

Everything was real nice , service was very slow and not very attentive. We were not in a hurry but did not count on a 2 1/2 hour dinner !
