Ambience and food taste including sides were memorable. Service was attentive but not memorable. Cost was less than expected. A quiet restaurant with live violinist on Valentine’s Day. Coffee and Creme brûlée with fresh fruit on top was a great finale.

Upon arrival we were seated in a adequate amount of time at a table to 2 per our request. The food was outstanding especially the Porterhouse Steak well seasoned. We will definitely return.

Food was adequate but overpriced. We arrived on time for our 7pm reservation yet still waited 10 minutes to be sat even though restaurant was half empty. Service was very slow. Waited almost an hour for appetizer. The waiter even gave us a glass of wine on the house for waiting so long. Cheese selection was the best part of meal. Filet mignon was fair- not worth the 50$ price tag. We won't be back

We had a 7:00pm reservation for two. We arrived at 6:50, checked in with the hostess and went to the lounge to wait to be seated. We checked in with the hostess several times after not being seated, being told just a few more minutes each time. By 7:45 we requested to speak to the manager, as we no longer had time to eat dinner before our next engagement. Though apologetic and comping my $35 bar tab, our dinner was effectively ruined. I would expect better service from what is supposedly a top-notch establishment. I would leave a review about the food quality, but we didn’t eat there. Not pleased.

We had tickets to a show at 10 pm and had a reservation at Old Hickory Steakhouse for 7pm. We didn't get seated until 7:30. We ordered but never got our food and had to leave to make the show. Waiter told us it was a Union Kitchen that held things up. Just awful

Although the food wasn't bad (not great), the service was terrible. The food is too expensive to come with bad service. Unfortunately the good didn't outweigh the bad, and I definitely will not return.

Not great value for the price. Been to many high-end steakhouses and prices are comparable, but the steaks were not as large or as good quality as other steakhouses.

Very disappointed as we were celebrating a birthday and advised prior to booking. No mention of it which was surprising as the table beside us were celebrating a birthday and received recognition. We had eaten here before and the food and service was excellent which was the reason we booked reservations again. Unfortunately they were out of the Tomahawk Ribeye for 2 which was one of the reasons we came . The service was not very good--we waited 20 minutes before our drink order was taken. When we paid , they took our credit card and were gone for a really long time. The server came back and said the credit card machine was not working----which was VERY STRANGE as the other diners were using theirs in the next room. According to one of the staff, depending what room you were in, different systems are used ....like I said very strange . It was unfortunate that the overall experience was not very good .

Beautiful spacious restaurant, great ambience, the food was amazing. More important the server was very good. Cant remember his name, but he gave good suggestions for choice of wine and entree based on what we wanted. I will definitely visit this restaurant again

Old Hickory is always our first choice to dinner for special occasion this was our 27 anniversary. But each time we park out front were told from your staff no fee for valet parking but were always charged $10 please have your staff corrected on this issues it is on the back of ticket issue fee.

We arrived promptly at our reservation time and were greeted warmly by the hostess, we were then quickly seated. Our waitress was friendly, efficient and timely. Our glasses were never empty and the food was superb. The Seafood Tower made a lovely appetizer and the Porterhouse did not dissapoint, it was tender and flavorful. The sides are a very generous portion served family style. The Flourless Chocolate Cake was delightful. I am looking forward to another visit.

Cheese cart was the best part - nice variety and delicious. Cheese server was fun and experienced. The interior of restaurant was beautifully decorated. The rest of the service, however, was quite slow (sat and a long time without a menu) and when the food arrived they didn’t know which steaks went where & which were rare or med-rare until we cut them. Fillet was tasty but Ribeye lacked seasoning. Nothing special. I expected more for the very high price. Steak only comes with a small onion and there is not a big variety of side dishes. More vegetables would have been nice.

Still my favorite Steakhouse. Even better than the Chop House and Ruth's Chris. Service was great and the food was delicious.

This one time, there were a couple kids who were not under control. But, I assume, based on my past experiences, this won't be a problem in the future.

We had a great experience. It was our granddaughter's birthday, and we wanted to do something special. Steve, our waiter, was great in explaining the menu and the various options. The food was excellent. If you want a 5-star experience, this is it! They even gave us a small piece of birthday cake in celebration.

Very good filet mignon, but very pricey. Sides are all at an additional cost. Waiter brought out incorrect bottle of wine and then tried to convince us to keep that without getting the correct bottle we ordered, saying, "it's in the same family and the same price," not understanding why we wanted what we ordered. Never had this happen in a restaurant. Children kept going in and out to the patio which caused wind to enter the restaurant and it was a chilly 15 degrees outside. Waiter never checked back on steak temperatures after they were delivered. Some were cooked spot on and others not so much. Great cuts of meat, but poor service. No cheese service due to a "technical problem with the cheese cave." Overall, very pricey meal for very poor service.

Beautiful restaurant located inside the Gaylord in Baltimore. We were seated overlooking the atrium giving us front row seats for the Christmas tree lighting and laser show.
The steaks were wonderful, the service was fabulous. One small thing - for such a top notch restaurant they could do better with their side selection. They only offer fries, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and asparagus. (The asparagus was very large and chewy)

Steak was tough. Waitress was just there to take our order. Not very attentive. We over heard the waiter at the next table explain varies entree options. He was much better than our waitress. Not what I expected from a high end restaurant. Very disappointed!

It was Christmas so the service may be explained by the fact the servers were just over the holidays. Very slow service and mediocre food. We were the last seating of the night but it took nearly 2.5 hours for a simple three course meal with a fair bit of time between courses. The server needed to come back for my wine order for the meal because she walked off so quick I could not add the wine to the meal order.

I took my family here for Xmas eve dinner. Our waiter was fabulous, very comical and knowledgeable too. Everything from the cocktails and wine, cheese selection, filet and lobster to the bourbon milkshake for desert was to die for. We had a spectacular evening!

The service saved this experience. We were staying at the Gaylord on Christmas Eve and were told, and believed, it was a "sell out." Therefore, when we asked if we could push back our reservation from 5:15 to 6:15 we perfectly understood being told that we could not be accommodated. However, when we left the restaurant at about 7:00 it was only about half full. I simply don't like being lied to. The ambience for such a place of potential just didn't cut it...especially when considering it was a holiday.
