The Studio, An Artistic Dining Experience
Could not be better for a special night out! It is always our first choice.
We arrived early for our reservation along with an extra person. We were seated immediately and the service couldn't have been better. The food was outstanding and if the weather could have cooperated the whole experience would have been supreme for the guest we brought. We are sure to return and she wants her husband to bring her here. We each had a different entree for brunch and I had the only appetizer. The meal finished with coffee and light conversation.
Looking forward to our next meal.....
The location is awesome although the weather did not cooperate for the sunset. Our waiter was terrific. The food was superb. Will definitely be back
We love this place. Our waiter was excellent and so was the food.
Food excessively salty, felt rushed by wait staff which had not been our previous experience.
Perfect evening all around!
The view from an inside table was perfect to watch the sunset over the water. Our service was prompt. Ambience is very nice for special occasion! However, I found my $41 Surf & Turf a bit pricey for the very tiny bit of filet steak that accompanied my 4 jumbo shrimp! I think a couple more ounces would’ve been nice! However, all food was delicious! Enjoyed the creme brûlée & daughter had a very good Nutty Irishman and ice cream. Overall, a very good experience for a special occasion!
Great service from Shane.
We consider Old Fort Pub one of the best restaurants around, and especially nice to take out-of-towners visiting. We have been numerous times, and the food, service and, of course, the view, have never disappointed us. We would go even more often if it were less pricey, but, for special occasions, it is definitely our "go-to restaurant." Go now, when they have their special promo going. It's by far the best deal in town.
This was a very quaint restaurant with a lot of history. The food was amazing and the staff was great. The view on top of the restaurant was incredible at night. We didn’t get to enjoy the Old Fort since it got dark early but we will return on our next trip to the area.
Family was visiting and we took advantage of the 3 course special for $36. Everyone loved their selections. The Peartini was delicious! We were lucky and were able to view a beautiful sunset from the top porch! Overall, a really fun dining experience.
Such a beautiful setting for a lovely restaurant. Food was wonderful, our server could not have been nicer or more attentive. Great for special occasion or romantic dinner. Fantastic views. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
New Year eve dinner was terrific my entrée was definitely the best duck I have had In a long time. my wife had the short ribs and was also delighted. We will be back soon.
Salad was gritty, shrimp had a fishy taste (not even local caught), potatoes were not cooked through, broccolini was mushy, dessert tasted like it came frozen in a box, and the champagne was terrible- tasted like syrup with bubbles. Extremely overpriced for what we got. If it were not for the view, this place would be out of business. Beyond disappointed based off the 4.6 star rating.
Excellent New Years Eve venue.
We are regular customers of The Old Fort Pub. We are regulars because they are just THAT good. We could eat anywhere, including 2 private clubs in the Bluffton area and 2 in Savannah, however, we keep coming back the The Old Fort Pub. We highly recommend them.
We were joined by two friends for brunch. Old Fort Pub was warm and welcoming and beautifully decorated for the holidays. We all ordered Eggs Benedict. The plate was beautifully presented and all the components of the dish delicious. The choice of china was interesting--a very large bowl--making it a little awkward. But that's a nit. We hadn't been in a while and were reminded of what a nice spot it is.
Ambiance was lovely warm cozy restaurant. The food was good but not great for the high price which was significantly higher than what I saw on their website. The waiter was grouchy to the pint of rudeness . They have a cute bar in the back but I walked in after dinner and the bartender didn’t acknowledge me . Could have overlooked the high prices if the people were nice
We enjoyed this restaurant. Food was very good, service was okay, but it was a little noisy on this night. It's in a great location and a nice place for date night.
Great Anniversary dinner
We enjoyed dinner on Christmas evening at Old Fort Pub. The restaurant was beautifully outfitted with holiday decorations and staff greeted us warmly on our arrival. The meal was delicious and served efficiently. A perfect evening!
Our dinner here on Christmas Day was the best part of Christmas. Perfect in every way and food was outstanding. We will definitely return next time we are in Hilton Head. The restaurant is very attractive and the service was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about the experience. Do try and go when you can see the sunset.
Entrees were good. Soup was not hot. Salmon appetizer very small.Waitress rectified it
Lovely quiet dinner on Xmas eve .. wonderful food and service ..not rushed but timely
Usually good but not Saturday night. Portions for steak may have been 2 oz. Very small. Grilled shrimp were boiled. Overpriced. Disappointing.
Go to place for a special occasion. Would have rated 5 stars but my friends meal was not hot when served.
Lovely ambiance for celebrating our 55th anniversary.
One of the best restaurants on HHI. Highly recommend,
Everything was top notch. We both started with calamari appetizers which were perfectly portioned and lightly fried. The 2 main courses were sea bass and special of the day scallops. Again, perfectly prepared and presented. We split a piece of pecan pie which was superb. John was our waiter and was very attentive. We frequented Old Fort Pub in the past, but not recently because of some negative reviews. After eating there again, we will definitely be returning more frequently.
The rack of lamb addition was delicious! Hoping to return again soon. The staff is very professional and attentive. Our server, Atef, helped make for a perfect evening. We enjoyed excellent food, a beautiful setting, definitely a must try restaurant on Hilton Head.
Mother's 94th birthday celebration.
Great restaurant. Food, service, location, and noise level all excellent
This was our second visit, and we did enjoy it. However, one of us was disappointed in the short ribs because they had an excess amount of fat. He ate only a small portion of it.
Other than that, it all was very good and that Tattinger champagne will smooth over the fat on the ribs.
The setting is always lovely, and the soft background music sets the right tone.
This was our first visit. We were taking advantage of a seasonal offer and we were so pleased with everything about the experience. It started by walking through the front door and seeing the spectacular view and it just kept pleasing throughout the whole evening, including the food and the service. Definitely pricey though.
We went on the 3 courses for $36 and what a great deal. As always the food and service was excellent! Love the she crab soup!
This was a great meal for the special offered. It was a 3 course meal for $36. I thought the serving sizes would be minimized, but they were full size. Service is always top notch and the ambiance at sunset AMAZING.
With a beautiful view of Skull Creek, the setting can't be beat. We enjoyed a variety of dishes for brunch in a quiet and elegant, yet casual, ambience. I've been here several times and my experience has been consistently good. The menu offers plenty of interesting choices. While the food was thoughtfully crafted, it didn't rise to an exceptional level. I had the mussels from the appetizer menu. Too much tomato in the broth for me and I didn't expect it to be quite so spicy. My companion ordered the shrimp and grits, which were delicious, if a bit over-salted. The service was absolutely impeccable. Great spot for a quiet Sunday brunch.
Great date night. The waiter was very attentive.
This was a birthday gift for my wife, the settings is great. The food was average and the service was average also. The prices are high for what you get and it was just my wife and myself but the waiter add a 20 percent gratuity to the bill and said we could leave more if we wanted to. I like to leave my own gratuity depending on the level of service received. We will not be returning.
