First time coming here and I loved every minute of it. We were pretty early for our 10pm reservation and since they weren’t busy, we were seated right away at a cozy booth. Our waiter was awesome; great manners and service. The food was soooo delicious. I decided to try the scallops with cauliflower, I generally hated cauliflower but I almost licked my plate clean lol. My husband had the pork chops which he devoured. I ordered crème brûlée for dessert and another delicious course. This place is a must when in the D.C. area.

The crab cakes were awesome, worth the price. The crab soup wasn't the traditional she crab soup, more like minestrone soup with crab in it but it was delicious.

We have always loved our experiences at Old Ebbitt but it was a special visit as we had friends who’d never been. We all loved our food… fantastic as usual .. and our server Nathanael was especially friendly, knowledgeable and helped us have a great experience !

I was looking for a place to have some late night dining, so I decided to come back to an all DC staple. I hadn’t been to this restaurant in quite a few years, so I decided to give it a return. We were immediately seated, and the server was very attentive from start to finish. We had the crabcake, which was a bit small but full of lump crab, so definitely worth it. And the other choice entrée was the meatloaf. The first thing I noticed when the meatloaf came out was the portion - it was huge. The meatloaf was on top of a mound of creamy mashed potatoes, and topped with a dark horseradish sauce. The presentation was great and everything was well seasoned. Old Ebbitt remains a solid choice for dining DC.

Favorite place to eat in DC. Food is incredible, sides are spiced with understated yet delicious blend, cocktail flavors meld together perfectly. Impeccable service from friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great atmosphere, some people dress up others dress down and yet nobody feels out of place.

Old Ebbit Grill was simply outstanding. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. The Crab Cakes are out of this world. This is a "go-to" spot on every visit to the District of Columbia!

Other than the “recovery fee,” which is silly for establishments like this that are never suffering for patrons, it was a great experience. Our waiter was on top of everything and was a delight. Chef Ferro is excellent at his craft. The corned beef was a little too stringy, but the eggs were poached perfectly.

We had great service and the food was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly. The restaurant was very crowded so it was noisy. We were seated within a minute or two of our arrival. I would recommend a reservation as it’s very popular. The sangria was amazing!
