   My only complaint was they wanted the whole group of 6 people there before they would seat us. It’s a big pet peace with me. I wanted to sit and order a drink and they said no. I spoke with a manager and he allowed us to sit. Policy is very short sighted. Restaurant was not near full, but their people are trained to say no.

   Excellent food and service. We went for brunch with three kids under the age of 9 and it was fantastic.

   We reserved table for 8. We were placed outside the restaurant and there is no ambience outside. We came to Old Evbits for an experience and ambience. Very disappointed. Will not return.

   Dinner was great, and the place is well decorated. Our waiter was friendly and easy to understand. The place was very busy, and it gets a bit loud - make sure you have reservations!

   Simply amazing. From the moment you walk in staff was courteous, atmosphere so inviting. We had dinner at bar, we had reservations.....but the vibe sitting at bar was so cool we gave up table Food was outstanding. Best oysters I've ever had. Definitely going back.

   Anniversary lunch. We were a bit sad since we were still kinda full from our big breakfast at Estuary so we didn’t have the appetite we had wanted. With that being said, the cheese plate and oysters were yummy! I also ordered a yummy drink! We will definitely be returning to get a fuller experience of the food!

   Old Ebbitt is such a DC classic and staple! DC has a lot of great restaurants but my family was in town this weekend and I instantly knew where I wanted to take them, Old Ebbitt! From the food to the atmosphere it is all around the best and right by the White House. I highly recommend!

    Get the oysters, you won't regret it! The servers are top notch and everything bit of food that came to our table was delicious!
