Lots of bones in my trout. Cocktails were awesome. When I told waiter about the bones, he said that just happens and you can't do much about it.

Cannot go past the ambience and food. Conveniently located near the Whitehouse, it’s longevity is testament to its popularity so I highly recommend that you book online. Think about going early, between 3-5, for Happy Hour.

Alfredo, our server was amazing: he anticipated and delivered everything we needed in a professional, efficient and very personable manner. Dining with kids (and serving them) is not easy, but your team did an incredible job starting with the welcoming hostess. It was my first time visiting Washington D.C. and I had this storied establishment on my radar. My wife and I went there for dinner. The establishment, as expected was jumping, but because we checked in early, we were seated earlier, much to our liking. (Thank you, Open Table.) From the wonderful young lady that greeted and seated us, to our distinguished bartender, our initial experience was exemplary. Then came the Virginia oysters, watermelon salad lobster roll and cannelloni and we continued to be delighted. The service, pace, wine and environment were outstanding! We cannot recommend Old Ebbit Grill more! THANK YOU.

Our server, Felix, was very attentive and did not rush us. The food was fantastic! Save room for dessert because that is well worth the extra calories! The cocktails, while on the pricey side, were very tasty and, despite the price, I’m sure I’d order from the cocktail menu again. Everything else was reasonably priced for the DC restaurant scene. Highly recommend!

Great service, made to feel very comfortable. Had brunch ordered per waiters recommendation and were very satisfied. Hash brown cake is like a knish on steroids, sooo good! Eggs Benedict could perfectly, would definitely come back for oysters next time
