Overall, I was hyped going here to eat the first time! A complete let down. The staff and wine was great, but a $50+ ribeye that was paper thin and a horrible cut. I'm not sure that such a thin cut can even be medium rare. The ambiance was great and energetic, but the entree let down was a dud.

First time and last time I will go to Old Ebbitt Grill. I was shocked how crowded it was and people were waiting 45 minutes for a table in a Sunday evening at 6 pm. Tables too close together and food was not good. The salad I got had brown lettuce and after one bite, I could not eat it. Crab cocktail was covered with some type of sauce that was ok but crab looked inexpensive and brown in some spots.
