        Unfortunately, was expecting much more from Such an established and esteemed establishment! Ordered the oysters Rockefeller to start. Oysters weren’t cleaned and the butter inside was cold with a lukewarm oyster. Pork chop was served medium (to order) and still bone dry. Service was attentive and prompt. Overall save your money and look elsewhere to the many fine establishments DC has to offer

        The food here was amazing! Every single dish we ordered was delicious. Our waitress was also amazing. My only complaint is that we weren’t able to sit in the main area of the restaurant.

        Love Ebbits. We live in Southern California and visit our son every May. Ebbits is on top of our list. We love the variety of food and the quality is outstanding. The main dining is so classic and wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately this year we were put in the overflow area. Nice but not the same experience Remember to request the main dining when making your reservation High recommend!!!

        We came to indulge/feast on oysters during the 3 to 5 o'clock Happy Hour. The oyster selection was excellent (New England and Eastern Canada) - love those Wellfleets! Also had raw clams (a bit gamy) and large, succulent steamed shrimp. AKA the Neptune Tower. Our server, Isadora, was charming and sommelier-savvy - she steered us to the perfect wine - Steininger Gruner Veltliner. It was a splurge but well worth it. We've been going to Old Ebbitt two or three times a year for over thirty years and have never been disappointed.

        Fantastic experience… we didn’t scrimp… had oysters, a glass of wine and excellent entrees, finished with dessert. We expected the price and were grateful for the quality & service to deserve it. Will be back on our next visit to DC
