   We started off with half a dozen raw oysters and they came out immediately. My wife got a gin cocktail tasted amazing. The bread service was nice as well. We also got the fried oyster deviled eggs. They were good but nothing special tbh. Just imagine a basic fried oyster on top of a basic deviled egg. Last but not least we got the lemon broccolini chicken orracette pasta. It was buttery, zesty and cooked perfectly.

   Would have rather sat in the main dining area rather than the atrium room

   Our waiter was very helpful in helping us select our dishes. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh and well prepared. We ordered crab cakes, halibut,and pork chop. We also enjoyed the tuna conservas.

   Always exceptional. A must do when you visit the city near the museums/white house.

   We had high expectations, and those were met plus more. Food, location, and service were amazing. History of the restaurant was interesting to read as well. We had the crab dip, steak, and two different salads. They accommodated a reservation change for us as well.

   Even for a tourist trap, the place delivers. It's a must, check it out. Just walk in and venture to the back bar, if you don't have an open table reservation yet.

   The Old Ebbitt Grill never disappoints. In DC for a conference. Reservation was ready on time. Wait staff was attentive. Dinner was very good (filet mignon, broccolini and potatoes). Cabernet Sauvignon recommended by waiter was fantastic. Overall, another enjoyable dinner which will keep me coming back in the future.

   The food was decent. I ordered the crab cake that “they’re known for” and the crab cake was good had lots of crab but served w tartar sauce just didn’t do it for me. Needed a better remoulade. There was a funky smell when u walked in the main door as well. Glad we didn’t eat in main room we were upstairs and couldn’t smell it there. Cesar salad was great. Ribeye was good taste but not the best cut of meat. Just disappointed after all the suggestions we had to go here .

    We made a reservation for 5:30. We were seated promptly Everyone in our group was very satisfied with their meal. My ribeye was cooked to perfection. My desert was Strawberry Shortcake. Best one I ever had. Our server Remy was very attentive & helpful. Very enjoyable evening.
