        Everything our table ordered was delicious. Pasta, steak, fish, chicken. Loved the vibe and artwork inside. At first they did try to seat us in a weird area that wasn’t really part of the restaurant and felt like we were in a humid work cafeteria, but when we requested to sit inside the restaurant they were kind and accommodating. It was just odd. Definitely recommend eating here but make sure you are seated inside the actual Old Ebbitt Grill.

        Great service and good food in this lively traditional hotspot. Our server was fantastic and in spite of it being very busy we were not rushed along. We will be back.

        Bad service at the reception. We had two waiters. The second one didn’t offer a good service.

        I got several recommendations for this restaurant so I decided to make reservations when in DC for my birthday. The food was delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the little neck clams. We both got the crab cakes and I can say they were the best I have ever eaten. The service was good. Make reservations ahead of time they go fast. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

        At Ebbitt, you basically get what you expect. It's loud, touristy and fairly simple food-wise. The oysters at happy hour remain a great deal and make it worth the trip.
