        Had breakfast here. Food was amazing. Had the Spinach & carmelized onion omelet with grits. Service was really good, and BK made sure we had everything we needed with a positive attitude. The restaurant lived up to it's reputation and I highly recommend it.

        Whilst fully accepting this is a tourist hotspot I also anticipated being in the main restaurant not in a side addition Atrium that was clearly overflow. Food was tasty but lukewarm. Bill was presented at same time as we declined a pudding! Would also be nice to not have plates/glasses whipped away before finishing and to be offered extra drinks. Overall disappointing

        This was the dinning highlight of our DC week long vacation. The example of how to run a high volume restaurant but still make it feel intimate and historic was on display. Having a culinary background, the food had some flaws (only the sides which can be expected in high volume , but the mains were perfection) on the other hand the service, setting and ambience far over shadowed such. That is how to run an establishment and get five stars for food while serving hundreds!!! Well done and I highly recommend.

        Went for the Calamari and waiter suggested Crab Cakes. Ordered both. The Crab Cakes are not to be missed!! Calamari was good, too.
