New crispy chicken bowl was an excellent addition to the menu. Will order it again. Flawless service, as always. A favorite must visit every time we’re in the District.

Of course, it was just as expected! Incredible food and service, wonderful ambiance. If noise bothers you, don’t go for dinner. We didn’t mind at all.

We’d decided to make this our special meal while vacationing in DC off the recommendation of another couple in our hotel. We went early in the afternoon as we heard the wait could be long. The food was good but not outstanding. The service was good but she came so often and moved dishes so quickly that it made us feel rushed. We were seated in a booth so I didn’t really get the chance to look around. Overall everything was fine but not the level of experience I was expecting.

You were on my bucket list for a visit and it was my 83rd birthday. Adrienne M was my wait staff and did great. Thanks for the memory.

Wonderful experience! The restaurant is beautiful and very well-maintained with a cozy feel. We didn't try any drinks, but the food was delicious. (Husband had the filet and I had the scallops. Chocolate chip bread pudding for dessert.) The best part was our waiter, Kalman. He was a pleasure - so gracious and attentive without hovering. A+ atmosphere, food, and service. Very reasonably priced for a relatively upscale place. We'll definitely go back next time we're in the DC area.

The OEG is always great. We go there for the Happy hour Orca Platter which is half price during that time, but the food is always delicious and large portions. Service is top notch. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been to Old Ebbitt several times but this last visit was outstanding. We were celebrating my husbands return from a 6 month deployment and what better way to celebrate?! Everything from the appetizers to the dessert it was delicious. The scallops entree was out of this world amazing!!

Ever popular mainstay of downtown DC. Pretty good food in a nice setting but mobbed at most times.

THE BEST RESTAURANT IN DC! Truly is. I loved it so much, we had to eat there twice. The seafood is SO FRESH and delicious. The ambiance, the menu pricing, and everything in between in phenomenal. There is a valet ($$) for parking, but we took an Uber. I’m still dreaming about the shrimp!!!

We stopped by for dessert only. The chocolate chip bread pudding was a hit but the pumpkin cheesecake was also very good.

An iconic DC restaurant that does not disappoint. Incredible setting (the art work itself is worth the visit), diverse menu, diligent service, and the food is amazing. The clam chowder is the best I have ever had and the crab cakes are delicious. I recommend Old Ebbitts for anyone looking for a great dining experience.

First experience here and it was worthwhile. Made reservations ahead of time and checked in early. We actually were seated about 15 minutes earlier than our reservation and the place was packed. Staff was exceptional and the service was quick and professional. The food was delicious and everything came out as ordered. The burger was sensational, honestly wasn't expecting it to be anything other than a burger. The place is somewhat noisy but it's always packed and should be expected since it is a DC landmark. While the food was delicious, the prices were high, which seems to be just a DC thing. I strongly recommend Old Ebbitt Grill for anyone who comes to DC and it was well worth the trip. We will definitely be back.

We love Ebbitt, but our last visit was not up to par. The pork schnitzel and spaetzel were poorly executed. Our waiter or bus boy neglected to refill our water glasses.

I LOVE the Old Ebbitt Grill! I’ve been coming here since 2002 and I’ve never been disappointed! Make sure you make a reservation because everybody wants to get in this place! There’s a reason it’s always busy! Great food....great service....great place! I’ve dined here at least 100 times and I have always had a wonderful experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A beautiful historic place, great service, always fresh oysters! One of my favorite places in DC.
Only one thing, in the evenings especially if your table is near the bar can be very noisy and almost impossible to talk. Also, please return the previous cocktail card, what you have now is not the best selection for the last few years...

I love OE...it's always the first place I go after my flight lands. I make reservations months in advance to dine several times while in DC on business. HOWEVER, the menu has changed over the years, as well as staff, chef's, etc. It saddens me to say economics has caused OE to just "fit-in" instead if stand out. But, they will survive on reputation alone. I won't bore you with every detail of every unfortunate menu change & I could bc I've had everything on the menu. Still recommend happy hour for the shrimp & oysters!

The service, the food and ambiance were perfect. The crab cakes were delicious . Our server suggested wine which we thought complimented our different choices of entrees. We had two unexpected friends to ask to join us and the server generously accompanied our request to have them join party of three. We always make reservations when we know we are to be in Washing D.C.

The ultimate Washington experience. Great food and ambiance that brings back the prestige of our nations capital. Right across the treasure building and steps away from the White House is Old Ebbitt. Incredible selection of tasty appetizers and food. Try artichoke dip and the oysters Rockefeller. Crab cakes are always good for the main entree. Great selection of wines to accompany.

Bob and Sam were our servers; they absolutely spoiled us; so courteous, friendly and just a wonderful blend of pleasant focus and customer engagement that led to a wonderful experience of them taking good care of us. My friend was visiting from Montana and she was totally feeling special. Thanks for an absolutely fun and enjoyable evening of drinks, a superb meal and exceptional service.
