The meatball starter is amazing. Mixed green salad lightly dressed, delicious. Pasta with spicy sausage substantial, squisita, not overdone. Wait people a little overzealous… but admittedly it was getting busy. Will gladly return!

The place was packed on a Saturday night (reservations a must) but yet the food & service were still outstanding especially the Fried Calamari starter & Steak Frites entree. Definitely will be back!

Old Ebbitt Grill is an excellent restaurant great atmosphere. The food and the waiter were fabulous; the server was attentive to our needs as if we were the only people in the restaurant. In addition, the restaurant's lighting gave it a romantic ambiance. I am looking forward to the next dinner. Please check out this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

I think our server's name was Lauren, and she was great! She made a few recommendations off of the menu, and everything she recommended was delicious. I'd put on the reservation that we were celebrating my brother's new job, and they gave us a complimentary dessert to celebrate! We went for brunch on a Saturday, and while it was busy, we didn't have to wait very long after ordering things. Definitely a must-do in D.C.!

Wonderful casual Washington classic bar and restaurant. It's almost like a brasserie. I was treated very well. They sat us down exactly on time. Nice table. Nice waiter. Excellent choice of food. Reasonable prices. Nice people at tables next to us. Busy place but we had no problems enjoying ourselves.

My mother’s first DC dining experience. Great food, attentive service. We always have a good experience there. The flavor on the Crispy half chicken was wonderful, and my mom loved her crab cake.

We were seated immediately and were served by Fabian, who was absolutely incredible. I enjoyed the steak frites, while my dining companion ordered the pork chop. The food was prepared to perfection. We ordered desserts, peanut butter pie and warm apple crisp, which were delicious.

Arrived shortly before our reservation time and were seated before our actual reservation time, having to wait only 10 minutes. But we sat at the bar and enjoyed some wine. They accommodated our request for a table at the back bar and our server, Bob, was the best! Food was delicious and our anniversary dinner in DC will always be remembered.

Hi. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I had asked for a nice table since he turned 21 and instead you put me by the kitchen. The waitress was very slow... We had to ask for clean plates 4 times (after we had the oysters) without luck, we had to eat cheese and fried calamari in the dirty/fishy plates. Secondly, I asked for bread several times and we got it when we got the dessert :(. Disappointing!
