   One of our must eat at sites in the Old City. We have dined here annually for about 30 years thru different owners. The quality has not changed much along the way. We do miss the shrimp and grits appetizer from years back though.

   My wife and I made a 7:15 reservation to celebrate our 44th anniversary. We were totally ignored by both servers the entire time we were there. People seated after us were served their drinks already and neither server in the dining room even so much as looked at us, so we just left. Very frustrating and disappointing.

   This was my 2nd visit, the first time was with a tour. Both times the food and service were outstanding. Lovely ambiance and our waitress, Gabi, was very sweet. It's a little on the pricey side and no handicapped parking but, other than that, loved it.

   Wonderful dinner! Very good, attentive service. All of our dinners were great, tasty and beautifully presented. Nice pace, no rush. Nice quiet atmosphere so we could converse easily. It was great, enjoyable and we plan to go back very soon.

    We had a very lovely evening at Old City after touring all day we enjoyed a delicious meal of escargot, she crab soup and rack of lamb. Dessert was a coconut cake! Yummy! The service was excellent!

    St. Augustine is such an interesting place. At times, it feels like a quaint Spanish town with its narrow cobbled streets. At other times, it feels like 1am on Duval Street in Key West...but maybe just a little more refined. On our second night in town, we made a reservation at the Old City House for outdoor dining after touring the Lightner Museum right next door (and setting our wedding date), seeking a relaxed atmosphere. We got exactly what we were looking for. We were seated at a nice bistro table under an umbrella in the cozy, palm-lined courtyard. The weather was perfect for us. Jorge was our server and he was attentive. Having filled up on tacos and tequila at the Casa Reina only two hours earlier, I wasn't exactly famished. I skipped the appetizer portion of the meal, but I can tell you that the people dining around us raved about the She-Crab soup. I opted for one of the specials, a Blacked Flounder with shrimp sauce. It was excellently prepared and delicious. My fiancee had the Chicken Milanese, which was garnished with a chimichurri sauce. She enjoyed it. Wine selection was adequate. As the day turned to night and the sky darkened, we enjoyed a serene setting and the pleasant meal. I would give service an "A", the food was a solid "A-/A". I would definitely go back if I was looking for a laidback, classy meal.

    Good food, good service, beautiful place but ... When the check arrives, they just present you the amount to pay, you have to investigate to figure out the service is already charged, they don't tell you . More and more restaurant are doing that and I think it's unacceptable .

    Very enjoyable time. Disappointed our anniversary was not acknowledged by the restaurant; you had asked when we booked through your app!! Does this information not get passed on? However it didn’t spoil our time there, nice surroundings, good food etc.

    We sat outside, and the ambiance was absolutely stunning! If I could give the service ten stars, I would! We had a terrific server named Esteban, and he was so kind! I'd inadvertently ordered a very sweet muscadine wine with my meal, and he warned me off and gave a more appropriate selection that was perfect! The food was heavenly! I hope we get to go to St. Augustine again to visit Old City House!

    This is truly a unique and memorable dining experience. Featuring a superb wine selection, well-stocked bar and expertly mixed cocktails, dinner began with she-crab soup and a seafood ceviche. The sup featured a sherry topper and the ceviche was generously sized with a light hint of tasty fresh tomato sauce. Main courses included the grouper special - Panko-breaded, lightly fried and served with green beans and mashed potatoes; and the crab cakes, again very generously sized and loaded with crab meat chunks. Every item was eagerly and completely consumed. We sat indoors, and the dining room made conversation easy. The outdoor garden looked especially attractive for open-air dining, and we'll definitely try that next time, weather permitting. All-in-all, a superior dining experience, and while a bit pricier than usual, the cost is commensurate with the quality of the locale, attentive service, and delicious food. Completely worthy of a place on the repeat dining list.

    Inside was closed and we were seated in the patio area. The chairs were uncomfortable and my husband being tall was seated under a tree that kept hitting him in the head. The food was decent but they were out of any desserts that we could eat and the portion sizes for the price where a little small. Service was good. Overall would have liked a little better experience but still worth a visit.

    Fabulous experience. Intimate dining room. Window table for 2. Swordfish and Osso Buco were excellent. Recommend the tuxedo for dessert. Service was outstanding. Adam was an attentive, friendly server!
